I don't recommend Reverends' BBQ because I just discovered it after all these years and I don't want it to be too crowded when I start taking my dad there on a regular basis.
Found this place today& it’s the best I’ve had in 30yrs of living in Portland…
First time in on a crazy busy day so waiting was expected. Ate outside. Plenty of room and seating inside but it was a gorgeous summer day so obviously outside in a nicely shaded spot felt premo. Once my bourbon dark cherry slushy cocktail came, it was. 2 brain freeze moments later our food came. Brisket and ribs with fries and collard greens.
