Han Oak Restaurant Reviews
From our nine year old: Amazing service and great mocktails! We went during the make your own Gimbap and it was absolutely amazing!!
Can't say enough good things about this place. Amazing food, impeccable service, and surprisingly kid friendly. Took our kids for the first time on Friday and they made us feel like family. Also went as date night a few times over the years and it never gets old.
3rd visit and I would say the restaurant has declined in both quality of food and service. Maybe because it was hot during our July 2026 visit and we had a bad table near bathroom and service door. Han Oak Restaurant offers a special dining experience with food that is special but not fussy, served in a cool, uniquely beautiful space. The setting feels intimate, described as a nice patio-like setting and a unique oasis, though some reviews note it can be really loud. The food receives high praise, with dishes like the tteokbokki with mushrooms, KFC Waffel, mushroom entree, short ribs, cured pork, and Korean fried chicken all mentioned as delicious. The prix fixe menu includes mains such as short ribs with rice cakes (galbi-jjim) and roasted pork in a sticky glaze. Desserts, like the sweet potato mochi cake, are fantastic. The food is described as next level, diverse in flavors and textures, and very filling. Service is smooth, helpful, and impeccable, with staff described as patient and fun. Some reviewers felt the cost, at $75 per person before drinks, did not match the perceived exclusivity, calling the dishes good but fine for a premium price. Overall, Han Oak is recommended for a great date night spot, a nice dinner, or an epic experience with friends.
