“We had Noho's cater our wedding and it was definitely the right move! Super flexible, took care of everything; Their team came to the venue vans loaded, set up, served, cleaned up... it was all included. We had them do our bar too and they did custom his/her drinks for us too. The team is incredibly nice and super flexible. We found out later that they actually filled everyone's water before dinner too. And of course, everything was delish. Our 'ohana was raving about the food. If you're looking for a taste of home for your event this is it.“

“I purchased lunch for my team at work and every one of us couldn’t get enough. To quote one person “it’s like a flavor party in my mouth!” Is an understatement. All of the flavors were perfectly paired, and not overpowering with one or the other. I can’t wait to get more!“

“Super nice counterstaff, delicious takeaway food in a tiny hole in the wall kitchen. Bring a bag and be prepared to eat elsewhere, and watch your step inside there is an unexpected little step just inside the door so be careful entering and exiting! One party at a time, it is a really tiny little place... But you'll be glad you stopped by 😃“

“Recently had my second foray into Hale Pele. Overall, a fantastic experience that is better than nearly every tiki bar I have had to pleasure of haunting. However, the quality of the drinks were a step below my first visit (2024). We tried 15 drinks between the five of us. The Corn n' Oil in particular was a big miss. It looked and tasted like a glass full of ice and 1/2 ounce of bitters. There was no rum, certainly not an aged Bajan rum. I inquired with the waitress, and got nowhere. The wait between drinks and the frequency of visits by staff was also considerably longer than last time. Our fellow patrons, however, were wonderful as always.“

“Wanted to try some killer grindz today and this place delivered. We got the Hawaiian nachos, loaded Bulgogi fries and the katsu moco with pork. My favorite was the nachos by far. The katsu definitely needed the gravy it was a little dry. The Mac salad for me needed some more flavor. Everything else was on point. Can't wait to come back to try more.“

“A real gem in the university district! Having been to Hawaii and eaten authentic plate lunch I can assure you the other reviews are incorrect. The restaurant is clean and spacious. The food is prepared well, tastes excellent and is priced very reasonably for the large portions. Something hard to find in the area. Another rarity is the owners take the time to get to know their customers. You can expect to be asked if you want "the usual" if you dine more than a few times. It is refreshing to see hard working small business owners still making it work.“

“I shoot pool league on Tuesday night and this is one of the locations we play at I've only had some of there pizza and it was pretty good they have diamond pool tables which are excellent it's pretty quite one bartender working and let's just say u don't have to wait or stand in line for a drink if u like pizza check it out for yourself I give it 4 1/2 stars“

“Never written a review before but gotta share that this was super good. Honestly better than it needed to be and I’m thrilled about. I had the kalbi chicken with Mac. The dish was simple, no frills, but the cook on the chicken was excellent. The flavor was delish. Even the rice was perfect.

“I love tiki bars and this one was fun. Great tiki drinks (pricey), but the vibes were amazing. We didn't try the food, but it looked all fried. We were there on Saturday and the huge karaoke section was packed. Very fun people and atmosphere. Would go back a few times!“

“This place is good!! I got the small poke bowl with salmon, tuna, and spicy crab, plus a bunch of toppings. I love that you can fully customize your bowl and pick exactly what you want. Even the small size was pretty filling, which was a nice surprise. Great spot for a quick, tasty bite.“

“It was great. Good food. We have a confusion about where we were supossed to stand to order so we had a person get helped before us. Other than that, great experience and great food. Worth a try for sure. You can tell the Bartender liked making the drinks. They were gorgeous and well done.“
