A real gem in the university district! Having been to Hawaii and eaten authentic plate lunch I can assure you the other reviews are incorrect. The restaurant is clean and spacious. The food is prepared well, tastes excellent and is priced very reasonably for the large portions. Something hard to find in the area. I truly love this place, the owners Paul and Teresa are some of the most lovely people to talk to who have refined their craft of making food, but more importantly, making people happy. This is a truly great restaurant.
The prices are really great for what you get, and the food is awesome staple for me here. And the best thing is the service is fast, I have never sat here waiting. In and out within 2 minutes. 5 stars
