“Hellooooo this place is amazing. The staff was friendly even tho being asked to do like a billion jobs. The food was delicious. The perfect type of fusion. Everything we got off the cart was a hit. And the drinks…. the drinks!!! Wonderful cocktails. I don’t really do two cocktails at a place (I’m a lightweight these days) but I HAD to try another drink!

My wife and I live in the neighborhood and we’re now embarrassed how long it took us to try this place out. Topping the list of late night places to take visitors.

Quick note: patience is a virtue. Staff is working hard and it’s busy. So, expect to give gentle nudges or to wait a bit for whatever drink or food you just ordered. Everyone’s working hard tho and it shows.“

“The most smashed smash burger I've had in Portland. Sure Shot serves incredibly well-seasoned patties in your classic smash burger from factor—it's exactly what I want executed at the highest level. You can't go wrong with the classic, but their specials are also always delicious.“

“Nice space with good music. Got to-go orders and waiting just a few minutes inside. Food was tasty (veg option is fried) we also had the shrimp sandwich and was delicious. Sauces were nice, loved the pickle. The person taking/making the orders was extremely nice and quick.“

“This is my FAVE food cart in Portland and I make it there whenever possible, even though it's quite far for me. Best Gyros in town, LOVE their spicy sauce and their baklava is pretty bomb too!

Parking: Sometimes it can be hard to find a close spot but just circle the block and you're sure to find a spot.“

“Simple little restaurant in SE Portland that specializes in Taiwanese dumplings, and I must say that I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food here given the general demographic of the area which made me wonder if the food would be bland. They have a simple but inclusive menu that offers both typical meats such as pork and chicken, as well as vegetarian options. They have multiple soup and noodle dishes, as well as their bao and smaller dumplings. I would recommend getting the wonton soup with bao so you get the best of both worlds. While the broth itself wasn't particularly flavorful, the dumplings soaked in the soup were wonderfully tasty due to the pork inside and well-crafted wrapping around it. You can see the dumplings and bao being made in the restaurant which is always a nice sight. I liked the pork bao although it could have been a bit more flavorful if it were a stand alone dish for sure, but it was perfect with the soup. I'd love to try other flavors in the future such as the chicken curry. Service was fast and friendly, with the person helping me willing to give recommendations with a positive attitude.

Parking: Couch Street isn't the best place to park but there's paid street parking in the general vicinity that is relatively accessible especially during weekday lunch hours.“

“So disappointed... That I didn't know about this place sooner!! Last night my husband told me he had NEVER eaten a gyro. I knew I had to correct this immediately. So, I started looking for gyros near me. Now, since he's never tried one, I didn't want him to have a bad first experience that would put him off of them forever since I enjoy them so much. I chose this establishment based on very high google reviews (5 stars) and because it's so close to where we live (5 mins). This place has gone beyond expectations! The food is amazing! Perfect blend of delicious spices and ingredients. HUGE amount of food. It was so delicious that I scarfed it down so fast I got sauce up my nose. I'm so happy that we found this little gem. “This is probably my favorite ramen in Portland so far! The broth and noodles and pork are delicious. The chicken skewers each come with a tiny side salad which was a nice surprise. And the portions are HUGE I was surprised how little we made a dent in it.

The restaurant itself is small, and mostly bar-style seating. You order at a kiosk at the front, but you still get a server, and you order alcohol at your table. Really straightforward. It felt very authentic to a Tokyo ramen shop.

“100 degree weather. I had been running errands and just needed a quick meal. I had a coupon for a Double Cheeseburger ? and Onion Rings. I got to the window and additionally asked if I could get a large ice water full of ice. The staff were very accommodating on a very hot day. No extra fee for the water and the food total was less than $4.80. I took to local park next to a river and thoroughly enjoyed. The onion rings were hot and fresh. The breading adhered well to the onion. The dipping sauce had a nice twang to it. The cheese burger was absolutely fine. A gormet burger ? ? No but very enjoyable nonetheless. Would I go back for this meal ? Absolutely!!!“

“Food is as you expect from fast food. Really mid, but the peaches and cream shake did have real peaches. So that's a plus. The staff was really holding the place down the best they could for how busy it was. I think maybe I'll come back and will recommend if someone has never tried it before. At least for the shakes for sure.“
