This is a great burger to try for your smashburger leaderboard but is sadly not a serious place for people to eat food in any reasonable span of time, especially when PDX has a dozen other phenomenal burger joints.“

“My socks, they’re been blown off! Best fried cheese curds I’ve ever had and the burgers - should be a standard in smash burgers. Holy smokes. Been by a thousand times on the train and was down here for a concert at The Den (only 4 blocks away!) and decided to try it. Amazing.“

“We had our first meal in Oregon at Gyro Grill. What an amazing way to start our vacation! Food was cooked to order and so delicious. Gyro plate, chicken kebab pita w fries gyro burger and a bubble tea. Both the tzatziki and hummus seemed like they were made on the spot.“

This was our second stop on a Portland dumpling tour. Killer Banh Mi & Momo is a small spot in a strip mall that Google Maps seems to have a hard time navigating to... Still, we managed to slide into the parking lot eventually and parked easily. The restaurant is bright and colorful and smells terrific. There were homemade chicken pickles and homemade pork pickles in jars on the counter. Be sure to try some!
The tasting that we got with the tour included 4 dumplings; 3 vegetarian and one with chicken. All four were cooked to perfection and seasoned nicely. Not too hot and certainly not plain! The first momo was crispy on the outside and dressed with a chickpea and onion relish (?) that complimented the veg filling. The second momo was a bit more savory with a wrapper that had a tender bite to it. The green dumpling was about what you'd expect with dim sum, but the sauce it sat in was a complete surprise - rich and brothy with just a hint of heat. And the egg rolls were crispy and tender with a bit of sweet sauce.
We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area.“

“Carl's Jr is underated. I always get great service here. Just got the BOGO burger. Freshly made and really good. Went back a few minutes later for 50% off drinks for shake and soda. Shake was thick and yummy. No tipping. We should not have to tip for counter service. The food is better and better service than Shake Shack up the road and way cheaper. The BOGO breakfast sandwich is well made and way worth the price.“

“First time ever trying bao, and I am a new fan! There were many options and the staff was kind to help explain the flavors and help me decide. There were also many options for service sizes. You could purchase only one bao bun, or you could try multiples flavors, I personally was satisfied with 3 bao buns for a meal. The shop is quite small inside so I wouldn’t suggest bringing a large group, but the service was quick and easy to take togo, it is definitely worth a visit!“

They don’t make it easy as you have to link your personal credit card in order to use it. I did not understand this at first. Shout out to the super kind manager (I failed to get his name) that gave me the food and told me that if I was able to get the voucher to work, then I could use it at a later time. In a world full of depressing stories, it is small kindness like this that gives me hope. I was able to get the voucher to work and I went back to pay. Thank you so much! Highly recommended!“

After I ordered my big Carls with a Sprite and some ranch dip to go with my combo when my order came out, he handed me the bag and said OK. Have a nice day and I’m like my sprite. After he finally gave me my sprite I leave go park somewhere to eat and there’s no ranch dressing for my fries. That kid needs to slow down, speak clearly and listen to what people are saying. I’d repeat my order to three times it’s not that difficult of an order. I almost forgot. He only gave me one napkin one and I got a double big Carls. You know how far that one napkins gonna go. “In an unlikely location in the heart of the issues on 82nd this restaurant is my go to because of the great customef service which defines the phrase fastfood. You are in and out so fast that im impressed every time. Eating out has become a very expensive trip out for the individual and the family. This place howeve,r is reasonbly priced and the food is excellent -especially the rootbeer freeze -which is second to none. Check it out its worth the trip.

Parking: Easy to access with multiple entrances.its also easy to exit being in close proximity to a traffic light“

“This is the cleanest fast food restaurant on 82nd I've seen. Bathrooms are very clean, including parking lot. A lot of homeless people hang around out side due to the bus stop being right on the side walk near the building but had no issues with them. The service has been the fastest I've seen in a while less then 5 minutes after Ordering. Even when asked to site out front to wait for meal. Great place love their Oreo large shakes they have now they really hook it up. And the plus side is the drive thru is open 24 hours witch is great for that late night munchies.“

“A real gem in the university district! Having been to Hawaii and eaten authentic plate lunch I can assure you the other reviews are incorrect. The restaurant is clean and spacious. The food is prepared well, tastes excellent and is priced very reasonably for the large portions. Something hard to find in the area. Another rarity is the owners take the time to get to know their customers. You can expect to be asked if you want "the usual" if you dine more than a few times. “I'm really disappointed with Rudy the Manager at this location. I came to use my reward for the 25% milkshake which is good from 2pm - 5pm. I arrived at 2pm exactly. I made my order and scanned my QR code for the discount. When I noticed my charge on the screen, which already went through the total charge was still the regular price. They told me that the register was still showing 1:55pm and that they couldn't honor the discount. I told him it's 2pm already and that it's doesn't specify on the app that it has to show 2pm on their registers. I told him I wanted a refund, he argued with me and almost told me he can't refund me. I told Rudy that it's very misleading. As a Manager, he could've just refunded me and recharged me again for another milkshake with the discount since it's 2pm. He tried to tell me he couldn't refund but I stood my ground. He eventually gave me my refund. I will never patronize this location ever. Screw Carl's Jr and their stupid app. 🙄“

“This is a great Baja Fresh! The employees are friendly, service is fast, and portions are HUGE! One burrito, enchilado-style, with the chips on the side, is actually 3 meals! Their guacamole is excellent. The salsa bar, with cilantro and jalapeños, offers 5 or 6 options. They also sell a sturdy refillable cup that you can bring back each time for a reduced price on soda or iced tea. The dining room is clean, along with the salsa bar, silverware station, and drinks. They have an outdoor dining area as well. Highly recommend!“
