50 Best Fast Food Restaurants in Portland

“I asked GPT to help find me a few burger places to try and this is one that came up. And I understand why. The burger was great. The fries were amazing, and came with a ranch sauce that I could tell was hands down better then the ones most places serve.
The burger had a great texture and the way everything was prepared I didn't even bother trying to add ketchup to it even thou I add it to everything. It was just that good on it's own.

I wanted to try one of the malts but was so full from the burger that I now have a reason to go back.

“I hate to put this here because you reading this means I wait longer next time I order.... Alas, credit where it is due. Rightfully so in my top three burger places in PDX. My top place for smash burgers. B.Y.H. was but the prices and longer wait times drove me away. Life hack: walk up and order. Then, walk across the street and get an iced awesomeness, or hit the Oakshire up for an adult bevie while you wait. When the brick and mortar is open, I am sure the wait times will drop. Still though, don't forget their neighbors for dessert or nightcaps.“

“I've tried several other places around Portland for bahn mi, and while they've all been satisfying, these ones are legitimately the best I've had.

The ingredients are all so flavorful (I got the grilled lemongrass pork and the chili momi, highly recommend!) But they also fill the sandwiches very well. I was stuffed after having the Super Combo.

The staff were friendly, the food is delicious, service was quick, prices reasonable. I will absolutely be back!

FWIW, I went at 4pm on a Thursday. Traffic was getting heavy, but parking was plentiful. I would suffer the traffic for this place again.“

“Right off the freeway, super easy to get on and off the freeway from here. My son and I got a late night meal here after a Weird Al concert on Thursday Aug 14 2025. You are in and out so fast that im impressed every time. Eating out has become a very expensive trip out for the individual and the family. “It's the sandwiche shop,but the meat is freshly sliced for every sandwich. They're very careful about crossing contamination with dietary restrictions. Which is very important when someone at home has celiac disease. The staff is very kind and accommodating. They are so popular that it gets a bit busy at lunch.“

The food is prepared well, tastes excellent and is priced very reasonably for the large portions. Something hard to find in the area. “I'm really disappointed with Rudy the Manager at this location. I came to use my reward for the 25% milkshake which is good from 2pm - 5pm. I arrived at 2pm exactly. I made my order and scanned my QR code for the discount. When I noticed my charge on the screen, which already went through the total charge was still the regular price. They told me that the register was still showing 1:55pm and that they couldn't honor the discount. I told him it's 2pm already and that it's doesn't specify on the app that it has to show 2pm on their registers. I told him I wanted a refund, he argued with me and almost told me he can't refund me. I told Rudy that it's very misleading. As a Manager, he could've just refunded me and recharged me again for another milkshake with the discount since it's 2pm. He tried to tell me he couldn't refund but I stood my ground. He eventually gave me my refund. I will never patronize this location ever. Screw Carl's Jr and their stupid app. 🙄“

“This is the cleanest fast food restaurant on 82nd I've seen. Bathrooms are very clean, including parking lot. A lot of homeless people hang around out side due to the bus stop being right on the side walk near the building but had no issues with them. The service has been the fastest I've seen in a while less then 5 minutes after Ordering. Even when asked to site out front to wait for meal. Great place love their Oreo large shakes they have now they really hook it up. And the plus side is the drive thru is open 24 hours witch is great for that late night munchies.“

Many people were ordering different slices from pizza week so that tells me that their regular fare must be good. Prices were quite reasonable ❣️ My slice plus a white claw was $10. They do not have a full variety, in case that is of interest to anyone.“
