“Highly recommend this place! Burger was AMAZING & I try MANY different PDX burgers! Curly fries were spot on! And then topped off with malted shakes... yum! We will def be back... often! Oh, the people we really friendly and helpful too, but food was so good I'd go back even if there were jerks... haha“
“The most amazing Eastern European food I’ve ever had. It’s definitely worth a try. The guy working the stand was very personable and served me his favorites. Definitely was not disappointed. Food is high quality. Genuinely homemade. Secret ingredient was love and passion. Portion sizes are pretty big.“
“The lamb gyro was so good and the lamb cheesesteak my husband enjoyed and then they give you so much meat in the combo gyro beef chicken and lamb everything was seasoned really good and it was hot it was so great for a cold day we did not have to eat anything else the entire night ?Parking: Because of the location it is very difficult to park You may have to park several blocks away and walk back there is only street parking availableKid-friendliness: The owners are really sweet people and they will go all out for you to make sure you are happy with your food and on cold days and nights they have free tea for their customers while they're waiting for their food and that is a nice thing to have especially here in Oregon where it's cold a majority of the timeWheelchair accessibility: It is a lot so it is easy for you to push a wheelchair through and they are on a flat level so you don't have to worry about getting stuck“
“The most smashed smash burger I've had in Portland. Sure Shot serves incredibly well-seasoned patties in your classic smash burger from factor—it's exactly what I want executed at the highest level. You can't go wrong with the classic, but their specials are also always delicious.“
“My family and I had lunch here on Sunday this last weekend, the food was amazing, the staff/owners clearly put a great deal of effort and care into the preparation of the food and it shows. They were so welcoming and attentive; the food was fantastic and portions plentiful. Will definitely be coming back. Thanks!“
“So, I went 4 stars just because this place is CHEAP - like you can get a decent meal for like $7, so that’s a bonus for sure. But just food alone, 3 stars. I thought the burger was pretty mid. The bun was pretty dry, and the burger patty just didn’t hit the mark. Sauce is great tho!“
“Absolutely delicious chicken! Just the right amount of crispy-ness and crunch. Awesome sauces to try and something for everyone's taste. We've tried them all and keep going back to the bulgogi. But the garlic parmasean (one of the new offerings) is a new favorite! It's a bonus that besides the great food that the staff is friendly, the service is fast and the restaurant is clean and tidy. I'd say that the only downside is the size of the establishment. If you have more than 2-3 people, get the food to go. It's too small to eat there. There are some picnic tables outside but unless it's summer, it's not really feasible to utilize them.“
“One of the best ramen experiences I have had since living in Portland. Erica, behind the counter, could not have been more amazing. Extremely accommodating and helpful. This place offers the at home atmosphere with a Japanese twist. Large portions, offers a great bang for your buck and yet still delicious. I will be back for sure.“
“Pupusas! I just wanted to try one of these for the first time, and El Porvenir did not disappoint. I had the chicharrón pupusa with delicious salsas for $6 and was surprised to find it satisfying without being too heavy. Wonderful flavor and texture.Look forward to another visit to try the chef’s other specialties.“
“Wow ! Portland is really stepping up their game when it comes to Chinese food!!! I had never tried it, but these traditional Chinese baozi were so juicy, spiced to perfection, delicious, and full of meat and the Jia Zhang mian were just like they were in Beijing. I ordered delivery and don't know if they have dine in. I will go back again soon! They also have frozen baozi and jiazi to boil or steam at home! Can't wait to order through their menu!“
“So disappointed... That I didn't know about this place sooner!! Last night my husband told me he had NEVER eaten a gyro. I knew I had to correct this immediately. So, I started looking for gyros near me. Now, since he's never tried one, I didn't want him to have a bad first experience that would put him off of them forever since I enjoy them so much. I chose this establishment based on very high google reviews (5 stars) and because it's so close to where we live (5 mins). This place has gone beyond expectations! The food is amazing! Perfect blend of delicious spices and ingredients. HUGE amount of food. It was so delicious that I scarfed it down so fast I got sauce up my nose. I'm so happy that we found this little gem. We will be eating here regularly from now on. Thank you, Gyro Grill Kabob!!! ❣️“
“I discovered my new Favorite food in the Universe when I was today hours old: momos!Orig from the monasteries of Tibet/Nepal… if you can imagine Polish pierogis & pelmini having a hot steaming sweaty 3-way w/ Chinese xiao long Bao all night while the dogs watch…you might have an idea what I just Xperienced going down my pie hole. And at only $12/order, they’re a Steal.“
“Love hot dogs and Zach’s shack. Have been going for years. Last week was disappointing. Every table was dirty and I wiped down the table by the window just to see a bunch of dead flies and mosquitoes on the windowsill. There was only one other customer and not busy. Not sure why the place wasn’t wiped down.“
“The cashier was the friendliest since I arrived at the restaurant.Dietary restrictions: I ate a super cheese with lettuce and the very kind person left it for me at my table. I really appreciate the attention of the person who brought my food to my table, his name was Vicente“
“The absolute best place to get food at the mall. Real authentic food and absolutely tasty! This is the only place that has ever got me to enjoy spinach. They're the friendliest and most down to earth owners. If you want to try something different this is the spot! Yes, free samples too!“
“Absolutely love the food at Raising Cane's... simple, filling and totally worth it. They need more!! Any franchising options??? Quick and friendly service. The Texas toast is on point, the chicken tenders never disappoint (nothing ever does), the sause I phenomenal and I don't even like coleslaw but I'd eat a bucket of this stuff. Will be back soon... and again... and again“
“Great to have a salad option in the airport! Ingredients were fresh and topping options are expansive. Really appreciated two vegan protein options- vegan chik’n and tofu. 4 different vegan dressing options was nice too, though most were olive oil or vinegar heavy. I found the pricing pretty fair and I’ll definitely be back when passing through this terminal.“
“I love du’s but I feel it’s falling off. They’ve been out of spicy chicken for weeks now, fountain machine hasn’t worked for ages, drink cooler just about empty, inside is dirty and dusty. Prices have doubled in the last 6 years and the wait seems to get longer every time I go despite time of day.Edit: went back today 3/22/24 was told they had spicy chicken back so I ordered it to go and paid, when I open the bag to eat lunch it was regular chicken. What am I tipping for?“
“I love this place to my core and would move states if this place closed. The food is so good in such a way where I believe there putting substances in my food to make it more appealing for my body to consume. My body will shut down if I don't have Cruisers at least once a week, and it is the best local fast food place, I would incline anybody looking for goof food in the near by area to try it and never go down on cruisers again.Kid-friendliness: I personally am a 12 year old myself and there were no threats, no dangerous things and I saw kids and parents all around my booth with my parents. It is a lovely place and I would genuinely say please try this food.“
“A real gem in the university district! Having been to Hawaii and eaten authentic plate lunch I can assure you the other reviews are incorrect. The restaurant is clean and spacious. The food is prepared well, tastes excellent and is priced very reasonably for the large portions. Something hard to find in the area. Another rarity is the owners take the time to get to know their customers. You can expect to be asked if you want "the usual" if you dine more than a few times. It is refreshing to see hard working small business owners still making it work.“
“Great food and customer service, employees are always welcoming and full of energy. Marshel is an excellent example of outstanding customer service, providing efficient service with a smile and a good joke makes a good day that much better, cheers.“
“It was open late, which was good for a late flight coming in after checking into your hotel. Food takes some time, so it’s not a place to expect fast food. Falafel and chicken gyro are amazing. Price is expected for its large size. Maybe they could offer mini sized ones in the future.Kid-friendliness: They do have hot dogs, chicken tenders/strips and fries for the simpler humans“
“First time ordering, got it delivered with GrubHub. Heard they had a dedicated fryer and gf buns! Was very impressed. Fries were still golden hot and crispy on arrival. Burger was hot and delicious. The cheese is extra good and they use real bacon. Not the microwaves stuff. The passionfruit fizzy water is delicious but healthy tasting, as it is not overloaded with sugar. This is way better than McDonald's!“
“I was craving Mac & Cheese, and I happened to stumble upon this place. I was not disappointed. I ordered just a plain garlic chicken cheddar Mac. The cheese is rich. It's a solid choice for Mac cravings. Cool little spot too. There are other choices as well. Great atmosphere.“
“I've have to apologize to Angie at the dog house as I've been eating at this amazing food cart for over a year and have not posted. If your are in SE Portland & 50th and want an off the charts hot dog, burger or a home made burrito - you must stop and eat !!!Their home made burgers and their sauces are scrumptious - the hot dogs are also yummy and of course their breakfast burritos are really really superb!!Lastly you in Portland - don't forget to order their Tatar Tots Bon Appetite Ronn just Ronn The hole in the wall food guy“
“I went here after a concert and the food was DELICIOUS! I got the deluxe falafel wrap and my friend got the regular falafel wrap. The sandwiches were big, filling, delicious, and hit the spot. Plus the ambiance of the square is beautiful and there's a covered seating area for when it's raining out.“
“ENGLISH:We invite you to eat at this place. It is a good place to spend with the family. I liked the service and personality of Reina Alvarado. She is a good worker and cook and kind to customers in general.ENGLISH:We invite you to eat at this place. It is a good place to spend with the family. “This is a combination KFC A&W, which provides good variety. The neighborhood is kinda rough, and the employees usually seem tired. But the service is efficient, the food is good, the order accuracy is very high for fast food, and most importantly THE DRIVE THRU IS OPEN LATE.“
“Some mighty fine pizza!! We shared a slice after dancing at The Midnight across the street, then went back and got a 2nd slice as a night cap lol. It is amazing pizza, thin yet chewy crust. Tangy sauce. The ricotta was sooo good. Friendly baker, made is feel welcome.“
“This is my new favorite place! Their bubble tea is amazing. Best I've ever had! Whatever tea you get order it with the popping bobas. They literally burst in your mouth with flavor. What are you doing reading this? You should be drinking bubble tea from Bubble Crunch!“
“Just got a personal Hawaiian. It did not survive the walk home. Very nice, a bit of spice in the sauce and it is a good Real American thin crust that can support the weight of its own toppings! I am saving their phone number as a contact!“
“Chicken nuggets are good. The fries at this location seem to be not quite as good as the location in my home town. The single cheeseburger is good, but I long for the days of 'hot & juicy'. Today's Wendy's burgers have lost their touch regarding hot & juicy.Parking: Parking lot is very accessible.“
“love that they don't jack up the price for being in an airport, plus they let you order ahead onlineVegetarian options: vegan cheese and vegan sausage available. all toppings are optional so it's up to youDietary restrictions: gluten free crust, dairy free cheese, probably more“
“Today was my first visit to Popeyes, the location was clean and nice, the stuff was welcoming and friendly. We ordered via the app to pickup at the location, wait for 5-7 min, the food was great packed. When we came home everything was still warm and tasty Thank you for keeping this spot so nice and welcoming, 100% come back when visit the area againP.S. I’m not a big fan of chicken sandwiches, but the highly recommend the one with cheese and bacon“
“I'm generally not someone who wants to have a meal without meat in it. Whole bowl had the shortest line when I dropped by the pod one day, and I decided to give it a shot. I've been hooked ever since. This is a weekly stop for me. Great food, healthy, and a good price, what's not to like? The person who runs the cart is really nice and friendly as well.“
“Will never not love Tecos! Banging food, killer prices, and consistency. The workers are super sweet, and know how to help you navigate the menuVegetarian options: Beans baby! lots of beans! throw some lettuce on there, you got this!Parking: Rough location to park in, confusing if you've never been there before.“
“Really unique restaurant in Multnomah Village. It's sort of like a food cart with some indoor and outdoor seating, each room with a unique theme..The kitchen is kinda spread out throughout the restaurant. The owner is really cool and super friendly. The bentos we had were really good as well. I've never seen a restaurant set up quite like this but the eclectic nature of it screams Portland. We will be back.“
“Burgerville always satisfies! Locals & transplants MUST indulge, visitors MUST try!Don't forget to order an extra side of Burgerville Spread, for your fries, onion rings... or whatever...I bought a jar of spread in 2009 to make macaroni salad with & haven't had better mac salad since. Amazin'.Vegetarian options: Veggie burger on the menu, with customizable options.“
“My night shifts at Amazon mean eating out at odd hours. Thankfully, Jamie at Carl's Jr. on 8205 SE Rhine St, Portland, OR, has been a game-changer. She nails our orders every time, even with my wife's custom requests. Fast, friendly, and always spot-on, Jamie's service makes our unusual mealtime a highlight. Big thanks to Jamie for making late-night dining so much better.“
“This review is to highlight the excellent service received by manager MAIRA and her awesome crew at Carl's Jr. (102nd and Halsey.)Friendly atmosphere and clean dining room, along with prompt service with a smile! A cravings go to place that deserves Two Thumbs up!!!?? Way up!!“
“The pizza was pretty decent, not a ton of flavor in the sauce, but it was good enough. The music was so loud we had a difficult time hearing the questions from the lady taking our order, and she obviously had a hard time hearing our order, as the sauce on 1 pizza was not what we ordered.“
“Our family stopped by this Popeyes’s on our way home as we were passing by the area and the kids were hungry. We used the app to order and the food was ready very quickly (well under 10 minutes). The staff was very responsive (which is rare nowadays at fast food places as they all moved to online ordering). In addition the chicken and the fries were tastier than the Popeyes we frequent near our home. The only two minor downsides are that the parking was very limited (maybe 10-12 parking spaces in total, so we almost couldn’t park) and the dining room is very small so maybe there are 3-4 tables that fit a party of 4. But those are minor complaints and if you are using the drive through or take out, these shouldn’t impact you too much. Recommended for quick fast food (we all know that Popeyes blows the other national fried chicken chain out of the water).“
“I had a fantastic experience at this pizza store! The pizza was served fresh and piping hot, with a variety of delicious sauces to choose from. The comfortable ambiance added to the overall enjoyment. Highly recommended for a great pizza outing!“
“I saw the raving reviews so wanted to check this place out. The bahn mi is good bulgogi has good flavor. The meat is pretty chewy though, and I would say the combo definitely is not worth the extra 5 bucks. I'd stick to the sandwich. The service was pretty quick and the lady was very nice. It's a small hole in the wall location. I would however avoid this area after about 5/6pm. This area is home to many people whom reside outside lol. As someone who has been to almost every bahn mi place in Portland I will say comparing to best baguette, bahn mi fresh, and a few other bahn mi places i think killer bahn mi is the best! But it is quite spendy for a bahn mi. You pay for it in the amount of meat they give you but still. If you like this kind of bahn mi I'd recommend also checking out an xuyen bakery. It's this little bakery on like 51st and foster but they have some of the biggest bahn mis I've ever had for 1/2 the price.“
