This was our second stop on a Portland dumpling tour. Killer Banh Mi & Momo is a small spot in a strip mall that Google Maps seems to have a hard time navigating to... Still, we managed to slide into the parking lot eventually and parked easily. The restaurant is bright and colorful and smells terrific. There were homemade chicken pickles and homemade pork pickles in jars on the counter. Be sure to try some!
The tasting that we got with the tour included 4 dumplings; 3 vegetarian and one with chicken. All four were cooked to perfection and seasoned nicely. Not too hot and certainly not plain! The first momo was crispy on the outside and dressed with a chickpea and onion relish (?) that complimented the veg filling. The second momo was a bit more savory with a wrapper that had a tender bite to it. The green dumpling was about what you'd expect with dim sum, but the sauce it sat in was a complete surprise - rich and brothy with just a hint of heat. And the egg rolls were crispy and tender with a bit of sweet sauce.
We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area.“

“I used the drive through and when I was at my final destination, I noticed my order was missing a Chick-fil-A sandwich. Brian Davis, the operator of this Chick-fil-A sent me an apology email and gave me a reward equivalent to my order. The reason for not giving 5 stars is because the process of reporting the issue to the Chick-fil-A CARES number on the ticket took too long to access a person and submit the information. Also, the person on the phone sounded as though they were having health issues; at one time even sneezing while I was on the phone.“

“I visit this particular Five Guys often and I haven't had a bad experience yet. The employees are friendly, the food is freshly made, and you get to have peanuts while you wait for your food. I went to this MOD Pizza on Friday and had another fantastic experience. They were very busy — the line was full, and people just kept coming in — yet the staff handled it with speed, teamwork, and great attitudes.

While the customer in front of me was still ordering, Jake noticed me waiting and offered to help at the same time. Within moments, both he and another team member were working on my order together — fast, friendly, and efficient. Despite the rush, Jake even took the time to let me know about a special offer I qualified for because I’d spent over $60. He explained it quickly and clearly, even though he was juggling multiple tasks. He didn’t have to go out of his way to do that, but he did — and that kind of effort says a lot about how he approaches his work.

As a business owner myself — I run a busy medical clinic with many employees and multiple managers — I really notice when a team operates this smoothly under pressure. You can tell this location has strong leadership and a well-trained crew who care about doing things right, not just getting through the line.

I’ve been coming to this MOD location for a long time, and the customer service is consistently excellent. The place is always clean, the toppings well-stocked, and the staff upbeat even during rushes. Whenever my family is craving MOD, I always plan our route to stop at this specific location because the experience is just that good.

“So I haven’t had a problem at this location until the day and it’s not really a big problem. It’s just the guy running the drive-through talk so fast you can’t understand what he says and then he can’t understand what you say.
After I ordered my big Carls with a Sprite and some ranch dip to go with my combo when my order came out, he handed me the bag and said OK. Have a nice day and I’m like my sprite. After he finally gave me my sprite I leave go park somewhere to eat and there’s no ranch dressing for my fries. That kid needs to slow down, speak clearly and listen to what people are saying. I’d repeat my order to three times it’s not that difficult of an order. I almost forgot. He only gave me one napkin one and I got a double big Carls. You know how far that one napkins gonna go. You need to teach the kids how to run the drive-through“

“Had them for the first time and had it delivered. Had the big burito: Caritas, black beans, rice, lettuce and cheese. With hot sauce on the side. It was one of the best burritos I ever had.“

“Stopped in for an early lunch today. Several folks were getting takeout but we dined in. There are 2 handicapped parking spaces near the front door, and the 2 tables closest to the front door are also designated for disabled folks. The restaurant was very clean and neat, and so was the kitchen area. Burgers were awesome and so are the fries. Portions are large, so I always get a “little” burger with 1 patty - the regular burgers have 2 patties.“

“In an unlikely location in the heart of the issues on 82nd this restaurant is my go to because of the great customef service which defines the phrase fastfood. You are in and out so fast that im impressed every time. Eating out has become a very expensive trip out for the individual and the family. This place howeve,r is reasonbly priced and the food is excellent -especially the rootbeer freeze -which is second to none. Check it out its worth the trip.

“This is the cleanest fast food restaurant on 82nd I've seen. Bathrooms are very clean, including parking lot. A lot of homeless people hang around out side due to the bus stop being right on the side walk near the building but had no issues with them. The service has been the fastest I've seen in a while less then 5 minutes after Ordering. Even when asked to site out front to wait for meal. Great place love their Oreo large shakes they have now they really hook it up. And the plus side is the drive thru is open 24 hours witch is great for that late night munchies.“
