“The ice cream was very good. We tried all the flavors. The people were so patient with us as we tried them all. I am not a fan of a lot of stuff in my ice cream, so I ended up getting the olive oil and strawberry balsamic black pepper flavors. They were really good together.“
“Our whole fifth grade class showed up at once to celebrate after a school play. We had a fun time, the ice cream was delicious and the people serving us were super great. They were very patient with all the kids, too!Kid-friendliness: The atmosphere was perfect for a crowd of excited kids!“
“Who would've thought there would be a yummy dessert place in the middle of Oregon City? Whenever I go, this place is pretty empty but they deserve to be known! Their gelati is so freaking delicious! You choose your flavor of gelato, my favorite is pina colada. Then they topped it off with Italian ice and frozen custard. It's the best combination and perfect for the hot summer days and also cold winter nights!“
“SO freaking good!! The strawberry switchblade took me back to my childhood and getting the strawberry shortcake from the ice cream man, which was so nostalgic as someone who went dairy free nearly 10 years ago. The oatchata was full of wonderful cozy cinnamon and oat flavor, wow! Can’t wait to go back and try more!“
“Had the cheese matcha and it is the best in the game!! Super high quality matcha, not too much ice and the cheese topping adding just the perfect amount of savory creamy goodness to the drink. Favorite matcha place in all of Portland and the metro area!“
“My impromptu visit was a welcome surprise. I was visiting from out of state, and was out and about when I walked by Pinolo and observed their sidewalk sign for affogato and what looked like a stunning little shop.I was the only customer in the store on a mid-Thursday afternoon. The owner was very welcoming and quite proud to tel me about all of the options. The gelato, her favorites, and where the ingredients were sourced in Italy. I was offered a couple of generous samples and decided to try n affogato with Hazelnut gelato. However there was a limited flavor that I sampled that I also had to pick up.I live in the Midwest. We don’t have options for high end gelato… anywhere. This was a new experience: high end gelato. And it was divine. What made it better was the customer service. The owner was so proud of her product and was inquisitive in asking about me. I lament that I was in a rush, as the atmosphere in the shop was so quaint. It has the welcoming vibe of a b. neighborhood coffee shop.We will definitely be back in our return trips to PDX“
“Best ice cream in the greater Portland area... Nothing comes close! Inconveniently (for me ; ) located out in SE Woodstock. I truly wish they would expand to more areas around town like Salt & Straw (which doesn't hold a candle to Cloud City!)“
“Awesome assortment of ice cream flavours. Staff was really friendly and knowledgeable on the varieties they had. I got the coffee ice cream and the salted caramel and it did not disappoint at all. My companion got the eggnog seasonal flavour and was also really happy with it. Will have to come back to try their other seasonal flavours next season!“
“This is an unassuming place due to its name and decor, but let me assure you it is quite the hidden gem! At first glance it looks like just another Froyo place, and they also serve Churros as per their biggest advertisements.... But don't let this fool you. This is a Vietnamese establishment, making conventional desserts with Vietnamese flair as well as traditional Vietnamese desserts. It's difficult to find Ube or Pandan in the area, but this place has a few desserts for both. Do not sleep on their Che, it is phenomenally tasty! The service is very friendly, and they are happy to serve and delight you. Seating is plentiful and cute, especially by the fish tank. If you're into tropical desserts, definitely give this place a try! But if you're into their Froyo, definitely still go! You can't go wrong !“
“What a great stop after dinner (at nearby Jade) and what an amazing treat! Can recommend the Orange Blossom and Madagascar Vanilla! Waffle cones were a delicious option, they also had bowls and pints on request! We will definitely hurry back and try more flavors!“
“I always seem to find myself wandering in here when I have had a no-good, lousy day. I have left every single time feeling better. The staff here are so kind and thoughtful. I never feel rushed to order, I always end up striking up a great convo with whoever is working, and without a doubt I always walk out feeling so much better than when I walked in. They really do put the neighborhood in neighborhood creamery. This is a classic old fashioned ice cream parlor and family run small business. They source their dairy from local vendors and farmers, they have fun seasonal specials, and they even sell Spumoni ice cream which as an Italian-American, I thoroughly appreciate this hard to find gem of a flavor. Also, can we talk about their ice cream cakes?? Simply the best. My friends and I order them for all of our birthdays. Once I called very last minute because I forgot to place my order and they managed to put together an ice cream cake SAME DAY. First, don't do this to these poor people, order in advance like a sane person. Second, if you do ask for such an absurd request, tip largely. Very largely. Sanity may not be my strong-suit, however forgetfulness is. I called right when they opened and by 5pm I picked up a beautiful and delicious fresh ice cream cake. I will never forget how kind they were about it and how thoughtful they were to ensure our cake didn't melt in transport across town. That cake was the hit of the party as it always is and I will never order ice cream cake anywhere else. (I also make sure to order in advance now)“
“Friendliness varies. Not all employees are happy to see you but it's a great little ice cream shop with in store made waffle Cones. This was our second time. The young man seemed as if he didn't want to be there or help us. Loved the choices of ice cream but felt bad about bothering him. Will try again but if that happens again we will stick with DQ.“
“This place is a jewel. We go weekly with out young children and get great ice cream in a wonderful, family friendly, environment. There is almost no line and there is not much hip as in salt and straw. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. We love this local business.“
“Fifty licks was recommended by our Portland tour guide. After two weeks in the area, we've tried several ice cream shops. Fifty Licks seems to have a nicer texture than some of the other shops, like a higher fat content dairy. We preferred the selection and taste of the flavors at Handel's or Salt and Straw over Fifty though. We had the Mango Sticky Rice, Oregon Strawberry, Brownie vs Blondie, Strawberry Cheesecake, vegan Chocolate and Mocha Chip. The Oregon Strawberry is special, the rest are good.“
“The vegan frozen yogurt is delicious - my niece wants to come here all the time! We dropped some frozen yogurt and were given a replacement, no questions asked. They cleaned up the mess we made and made us feel like it was no big deal. What a wonderful place.“
“I’ve been here only 3 times but every time has been such a great experience. Their bagels are actually the best bagels I’ve ever had, espresso is bold yet smooth, prices are super affordable compared to other coffee chains and service is always super friendly!! I enjoy hanging out in the space as it’s comfortable, welcoming and bright. I had cold brew my first time in & my only complaint is that I could tell it wasn’t steeped long enough but aside from that this is my favorite local coffee shop :)“
“I absolutely love this place! I grew up going to Sunny’s and it’s a joy every time. The frozen yogurt is extraordinary, and the amount of toppings there are is amazing! Not to mention the employees are trained so well and are always very welcoming. I feel at home here and I always will!❤️“
“Lovely shopping experience here! The staff is friendly and helpful. The produce is fresh and beautifully displayed. The store is expensive so I have to pick and choose what I purchase here versus elsewhere but I am super grateful they moved into our neighborhood. What an upgrade!!! I love that they have coffee and pastries in the morning, ice cream in the afternoon and pizza for dinner or lunch or breakfast. The pizza is off the hook. overall fantastic“
“I’ve been going to Menchie’s in lake Oswego recently and thought I lost my taste for frozen yogurt but just picked up some froyo at Nectar and realized it’s because I’ve been going to the wrong place! The toppings were way fresher and the yogurt even tasted better than Menchies. So glad I stopped in.“
“This location has the best staff, very kind and appreciate their regular customers. My only suggestion would be to sell the smaller cookies individually. The cookies... Just way too good, Definitely not for the diabetic, lol. The constantly changing unique cookies idea is super fun especially because customers can make suggestions for new flavors on the website.Dietary restrictions: Soooo much sugar!!!“
“I went there because I wanted a piña loca but they didn't have the shell of the piña that it looks great when they served all inside there, and asked for sandía loca and same they didn't have the shell so I ended to buying something else, but the nachos were so delicious.“
“These are so so delicious! You can tell they're made with whole food. I've tried the coffee one, the watermelon mint one, and the peanut butter banana one. I love how they're named after planets, too! They are really a satisfying, flavorful treat. If you stop by, don't hesitate to try them! I'm hoping they'll be stocked in natural food store chains soon, but until then they're at many farmers markets. The pops do tend to melt quickly, so I recommend eating them right away or getting them in the freezer quickly. They taste fresh and exactly like what the flavor describes. Really nice for people with food allergies, too. I can't eat dairy or wheat or soy and don't have to worry about any of that with these! It's my personal mission to try every flavor :) go get yourself some delicious! They're so refreshing!“
“Never knew about this Filipino food cart, but I’m so glad that I discovered it!! The spaghetti reminded me of Jollibee’s spaghetti. I also got the ube ice cream. Both were a 10/10! Staff was super friendly as well. Will be coming back to try the other dishes they serve. Salamat!!“
“Very fun and nostalgic Burger drive up joint, has a wonderful mini selection Unfortunately they don't update their menu with what they're sold out of until after you order it. Would like to give five stars unfortunately the quality of the food isn't terrible it's just not quite great the building itself just kind of has a dingy rundown feel to it and the employees seem to be mostly high schoolers who not happy to be there. Don't let this deter you though if you want a good burger they are a good place to go.Vegetarian options: If they have a vegetarian option it is definitely going to be cross-contaminated because all their fries tasted fishy because they're using the exact same oil to cook their Seafood and their fries, can only speculate that the burgers and everything else that's getting made behind the scenes is probably not being isolated from each other.“
“Super cute little juice shop. Incredibly friendly staff. They go above and beyond and are super engaging and friendly. There was a young 18 year old there with blonde short hair who really was just the sweetest to me when I walked in, very easy to talk to and I commented how mature she seemed. She took a to go order over the phone for me (my daughter was playing softball at the park down the street) and she was super accommodating. I told all the parents on my daughters softball team how cute and delicious the shop was and that they should try it out. A+ in my book! I got the green juice and a chocolate and banana protein bowl... absolutely delightful“
