“We have tried Salt&Straw at various locations and states. Very consistent across it all.
Open concept design. Benches against giant windows to feel the breeze (it was a hot day). I’m sure wintertime they shut it tight. Bathroom inside (need a code).
The staff were very patient and friendly. You can ask as many samples as you want. Even if there’s a line, it usually move fast. Creamy, strong flavor, good quality ice cream.
The menu has interesting options. Even though we have been to many locations, we still haven’t tried them all. There are tubs and merchandises on display if you like a souvenir.“

“Kate’s all vegan and gluten free ice cream is an inclusive dream for many people with dietary restrictions and a sweet tooth 😜 Everyone working there has been accommodating when I’ve asked about other food sensitivities, too, like oat. It’s ridiculously delicious and I recommend the ice cream sandwiches if you can have oats!“

“Just met the lovely owners Gagan and Kiran the other day at our local dog park. After chatting over our cute dogs they disclosed that they own this gem of an ice cream shop. I went that very night with friends after eating at Eem, it was delicious and a lovely complement to the great food we had just had. Gagan assured me I could try every flavor which I very nearly did. Settled on a split scoop of the golden milk and kaapi. Highly recommended!!!“

“First time here and we will definitely be back again. My husband and daughter stopped in for some shave ice. Not too long after, my daughter accidentally dropped hers, leading to lots of tears. The person working came out, unbeknownst to us, with a replacement and reassurance. Thank you, it was very kind.“

“Went here as a early Mother’s Day treat with my daughter. Had the sample plate…. So delicious and we learned we liked it all! Also got a sundae….. totally recommend. For take home I got the cookies. This place is a gem! Stop by and check it out for sure if you are ever in the area.“

“Delicious ice cream with fun flavors! You can get a one scoop but split between two flavors which I love. The ube cheesecake is delicious. I loved mixing the peach crisp with the mango cardamom which were equally as delicious. My partner loves the strawberry custard. Reasonable prices too. Can't go wrong here.“

“Haven’t been to this location in a while and I was so surprised by how professional and welcoming the staff was. We were taken care of by a worker named Rhyann and she was so friendly and patient with our group and seemed genuinely excited by the flavors and the company itself. I never write reviews but I felt like I needed to share how great my experience was a give a shout out to whoever the manager is for creating such a warm, fun environment.“

“The place was very clean. The music they were playing was my taste. They ladies working were nice, friendly and quickly prepared my ube gooey butter sundae which was damn good. I went on to their street with the intention of going to Salt & Screw. Unfortunately, they were no longer in business there and was replaced with a ramen restaurant. The decor was exactly as advertised online with the witchy theme in full force. I'll definitely be back for another treat soon.“

“Sparkling clean and friendly corner shop in NE Portland. Staff is helpful and their products are fresh and always delicious. The affogato is a must if in need of a pick me up. The espresso gelato is a must try for coffee lovers, although you can’t go wrong with any of their flavors!“

“I came here on September 16th around 6:30pm. As I walked in, there was a line of about 6 to 7 people. I was happy to see that they were busy, especially since it was Friday night. However, a white male in front of me got frustrated at one of the associates because they didn't have cherry vanilla ice cream. He was mentioning that he waited in a line only to find out that they don't have cherry vanilla icecream. He said to the associate, "Let's talk about what just happened here." It made me feel really bad for the associate. The other associate overheard and stepped in. Told the customer that they didn't have the flavor of icecream and that there was a line. The associate told this customer to chill out, and it was a reasonable request from my perspective. After the customer was told to chill out he mentioned, "I know the owner....". It unfortunately was a situation where the customer felt very entitled to get what he wanted and an excuse to be rude to the associates. I think the associates handled this extremely well. I'm glad they stood up for themselves. That is not treatment they deserve.“

“This little specialty shop is such a worthwhile experience! The entire menu features treats made with matcha, more matcha, and even more matcha. There's also a seasonal flavor of soft serve to pair with your matcha. There's an order kiosk in the corner, but the staff at the counter are kind and helpful - tip them generously!
There are several tables to sit and enjoy your treats. The dining area is functional, but a little plain, and it is FREEZING cold in there. Bring a sweater 🥶 and enjoy your yummy caffeinated treat! (Matcha Bear pictured)“

“Obsessed with this fancy froyo! They have the best flavors, my favorites are honey pistachio and date tahini. It is more expensive than your standard froyo but everything is delicious and homemade. We love the brownie pieces and hot fudge but all the toppings are incredible as well. Staff is always friendly and helpful! We drive in from Beaverton regularly to enjoy their froyo. Can’t beat it!“
“Took my mom and daughter with me since the place is cat themed and they love cats. The impression with omg cute and clean with friendly service. We ordered a large half strawberry and half mango dessert. Also tried a custard filled desert that looks like a cute fish. The ice cream desert is light and perfectly sweet. If you love very sweet rich stuff then this wont be for you. Would definitely come back again.“

“It was really nice inside friendly people the cookies were great everything was in stock I ordered ahead so when I got there they packed everything up for me freshly everything was made really pretty their cookies make you not want to eat them because they are so pretty but they're so delicious everyone should enjoy them this go round, I will give crumble 5 stars. Each thing that I purchased was amazing. The chocolate chip thins, we're definitely amazing. The dubai biscoff brownie is out of this world and the oatmeal cookie is so moist and delicious. They deserve five stars“

“Uri at Dairy Hill Ice Cream was absolutely incredible to work with for our wedding! He invited Andrew and me to a tasting beforehand, which was such a fun experience and helped us pick the perfect flavors. Every single one was amazing.
At the wedding, they set up an ice cream bar for our guests and it was truly out of this world. People are still talking about how good it was! It added such a fun and memorable touch to the night.
They also made us a custom ice cream cake that was unbelievably delicious. It was the perfect sweet treat and such a unique addition to our celebration.
We couldn’t recommend Dairy Hill Ice Cream more — amazing service, amazing ice cream, and such a great experience from start to finish!“

“Tried the seasonal eggnog cake. If tiramisu met a white sheet cake at the holiday party and got sloppy together - it would be this cake. The moisture and flavor of the eggnog soaked the cake from the bottom up. The creamy icing on top sprinkled with nutmeg brought home the tiramisu vibe. Pretty good effort at a fancy cake by a cookie company.“

“The employees are always so friendly and sweet. I always just order with them rather than using the self-service kiosks because often times the kiosks show a cookie as sold out but there is a batch getting ready to come out of the oven and they are ALWAYS worth a 10-15min wait. I prefer cookies over any other dessert confection and Crumbl cookies are untouchable. They are always fantastic but the cornbread, snickerdoodle, and peanut butter stuffed & topped with peanut butter are our absolute favorites.“
