The fact that they have lihing powder as a topping already sets the bar! I luckily stumbled upon this little gem as I was walking through the area. I find it very hard to find a good shave ice place on mainland. And I was especially surprised to find one in Portland! Wailua shave ice is a Hawaiian style shaved ice place. The best shave ice we ever had! This was one of our stops on the All Inclusive Downtown Portland Food Tour and it's so great to be able to try authentic Hawaiian shaved ice without the expensive plane ticket. We had Ube (purple yam) and Orange Dream (Orange Coconut) and both are mind blowing. Try it and you won't regret it!
