“The ice cream was very good. We tried all the flavors. The people were so patient with us as we tried them all. I am not a fan of a lot of stuff in my ice cream, so I ended up getting the olive oil and strawberry balsamic black pepper flavors. They were really good together.“
“Our whole fifth grade class showed up at once to celebrate after a school play. We had a fun time, the ice cream was delicious and the people serving us were super great. They were very patient with all the kids, too!Kid-friendliness: The atmosphere was perfect for a crowd of excited kids!“
“The best shave ice we ever had! This was one of our stops on the All Inclusive Downtown Portland Food Tour and it's so great to be able to try authentic Hawaiian shaved ice without the expensive plane ticket. We had Ube (purple yam) and Orange Dream (Orange Coconut) and both are mind blowing. Try it and you won't regret it!“
“Came here for their soft serve and I loved it. I ordered a vanilla soft serve with strawberry dusting and a chocolate cowboy hat. I will say that the chocolate hate tasted a bit like chai so that threw me off a little but I wiped it off. As for the strawberry dusting it didn’t have much flavor but it was fun! It was also a bit too much ice cream for me so maybe I would ask for less ice cream next time“
“The staff there is AMAZING! ICE CREAM EPIC! Atmosphere super fun and chill! I stopped by with my brother (long-time loyal fan of S&S) to get some yummies and use the restroom. Well, I left my $1300 dollar phone in the bathroom, and they kept it safe for me until the next day. They stored it their safe :) I've had situations where this wasn't the case, so great integrity on their part. If you have time to stop, make sure you do, or you'll be missing out on a cool, fun, safe environment for the whole family! Thank you, guys ;) Keep up the great work!“
“SO freaking good!! The strawberry switchblade took me back to my childhood and getting the strawberry shortcake from the ice cream man, which was so nostalgic as someone who went dairy free nearly 10 years ago. The oatchata was full of wonderful cozy cinnamon and oat flavor, wow! Can’t wait to go back and try more!“
“Had the cheese matcha and it is the best in the game!! Super high quality matcha, not too much ice and the cheese topping adding just the perfect amount of savory creamy goodness to the drink. Favorite matcha place in all of Portland and the metro area!“
“My impromptu visit was a welcome surprise. I was visiting from out of state, and was out and about when I walked by Pinolo and observed their sidewalk sign for affogato and what looked like a stunning little shop.I was the only customer in the store on a mid-Thursday afternoon. The owner was very welcoming and quite proud to tel me about all of the options. The gelato, her favorites, and where the ingredients were sourced in Italy. I was offered a couple of generous samples and decided to try n affogato with Hazelnut gelato. However there was a limited flavor that I sampled that I also had to pick up.I live in the Midwest. We don’t have options for high end gelato… anywhere. This was a new experience: high end gelato. And it was divine. What made it better was the customer service. The owner was so proud of her product and was inquisitive in asking about me. I lament that I was in a rush, as the atmosphere in the shop was so quaint. It has the welcoming vibe of a b. neighborhood coffee shop.We will definitely be back in our return trips to PDX“
“Good ice cream. Prices were quite reasonable.Great service, we got in before a big rush (movies let out maybe?) and the line moved right along.Their efficiency and politeness was a pleasure to watch.Everything, including tables, was very clean.Vegetarian options: Several vegan selections.“
“Incredibly palatable and allergen friendly dessert. They have gluten free waffle cones that are amazing. I think they actually taste better than the normal ones… they’re somehow crispy and chewy at the same time. The dairy free ice cream is super light and fluffy. Relative to most ice cream, this is a healthy treat.Dietary restrictions: Waffle cones and coconut ice cream are gluten free, dairy free, and soy free.“
“Awesome assortment of ice cream flavours. Staff was really friendly and knowledgeable on the varieties they had. I got the coffee ice cream and the salted caramel and it did not disappoint at all. My companion got the eggnog seasonal flavour and was also really happy with it. Will have to come back to try their other seasonal flavours next season!“
“What a great stop after dinner (at nearby Jade) and what an amazing treat! Can recommend the Orange Blossom and Madagascar Vanilla! Waffle cones were a delicious option, they also had bowls and pints on request! We will definitely hurry back and try more flavors!“
“I always seem to find myself wandering in here when I have had a no-good, lousy day. I have left every single time feeling better. The staff here are so kind and thoughtful. I never feel rushed to order, I always end up striking up a great convo with whoever is working, and without a doubt I always walk out feeling so much better than when I walked in. They really do put the neighborhood in neighborhood creamery. This is a classic old fashioned ice cream parlor and family run small business. They source their dairy from local vendors and farmers, they have fun seasonal specials, and they even sell Spumoni ice cream which as an Italian-American, I thoroughly appreciate this hard to find gem of a flavor. Also, can we talk about their ice cream cakes?? Simply the best. My friends and I order them for all of our birthdays. Once I called very last minute because I forgot to place my order and they managed to put together an ice cream cake SAME DAY. First, don't do this to these poor people, order in advance like a sane person. Second, if you do ask for such an absurd request, tip largely. Very largely. Sanity may not be my strong-suit, however forgetfulness is. I called right when they opened and by 5pm I picked up a beautiful and delicious fresh ice cream cake. I will never forget how kind they were about it and how thoughtful they were to ensure our cake didn't melt in transport across town. That cake was the hit of the party as it always is and I will never order ice cream cake anywhere else. (I also make sure to order in advance now)“
“They are so nice and amazing CookiesVegetarian options: They have someDietary restrictions: They have them labeledParking: Lots of spotsKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly it's in a teen hang out spotWheelchair accessibility: Yes there is stairs or a ramp“
“Friendliness varies. Not all employees are happy to see you but it's a great little ice cream shop with in store made waffle Cones. This was our second time. The young man seemed as if he didn't want to be there or help us. Loved the choices of ice cream but felt bad about bothering him. Will try again but if that happens again we will stick with DQ.“
“This place is a jewel. We go weekly with out young children and get great ice cream in a wonderful, family friendly, environment. There is almost no line and there is not much hip as in salt and straw. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. We love this local business.“
“Had my first experience visiting a Crumbl Cookies franchise store and this one in wilsonville was the one I ended up at. I have absolutely nothing negative. Offer and I enjoyed the product, so well my experiences are limited, no reason not to give this location five stars and recommend it. It is a new location in a new shopping center so that is one additional benefit.“
“Fifty licks was recommended by our Portland tour guide. After two weeks in the area, we've tried several ice cream shops. Fifty Licks seems to have a nicer texture than some of the other shops, like a higher fat content dairy. We preferred the selection and taste of the flavors at Handel's or Salt and Straw over Fifty though. We had the Mango Sticky Rice, Oregon Strawberry, Brownie vs Blondie, Strawberry Cheesecake, vegan Chocolate and Mocha Chip. The Oregon Strawberry is special, the rest are good.“
“The vegan frozen yogurt is delicious - my niece wants to come here all the time! We dropped some frozen yogurt and were given a replacement, no questions asked. They cleaned up the mess we made and made us feel like it was no big deal. What a wonderful place.“
“I really like the popsicles and want to try the icecream soon. The watermelon, bubblegum, and cookies and cream popsicles are great. The pecan and pineapple were just okay. They’re a little expensive at $3.50 each but they are a nice treat. Some had a lot of ice covering them since they are not in sealed bags.“
“Super cute little juice shop. Incredibly friendly staff. They go above and beyond and are super engaging and friendly. There was a young 18 year old there with blonde short hair who really was just the sweetest to me when I walked in, very easy to talk to and I commented how mature she seemed. She took a to go order over the phone for me (my daughter was playing softball at the park down the street) and she was super accommodating. I told all the parents on my daughters softball team how cute and delicious the shop was and that they should try it out. A+ in my book! I got the green juice and a chocolate and banana protein bowl... absolutely delightful“
“WONDERFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE EVEN BETTER GELATO.I ordered a cake with just 48 hours notice, but unfortunately they were closed on the day I wanted to pick up. The owner offered to open up just for me to grab my cake and was extremely accommodating with my forgetfulness in ordering sooner. The cakes are delicious and reasonably priced!“
“We visit this place whenever we come to Portland. They make the crepes right in front of you with fresh ingredients which makes this place a must try. They take their time to prepare as it is freshly made. But well worth the wait. The only challenge is, if you prefer to sit and eat, there are not much seating around here as it is in a mall. We usually get their cone style crepe which makes it easy for us to carry around the mall.“
“I had a great experience. There was no wait for a seat which is a nice treat in Portland. The cafe is right on the water front so it was a great view of the river. The cafe was clean and tables were tended to quickly as people left to make room for others. The coffee was good and I really enjoyed my food. Everything was cooked perfectly. I ordered the sweet breakfast which allowed me to taste the flavorful pancakes. I was pleased that they came with the sweet cream and a bit of fruit. The bacon was on point and cooked perfectly. One friend ordered the Salmon bagel sandwich and it looked really good. I think I will try that next time. Another friend got a dish that had the potatoes. She really liked the potatoes and the other person with us agreed they were good.Everyone was so friendly that worked there. I will absolutely be coming back and recommend this gem to others.“
“I absolutely love this place! I grew up going to Sunny’s and it’s a joy every time. The frozen yogurt is extraordinary, and the amount of toppings there are is amazing! Not to mention the employees are trained so well and are always very welcoming. I feel at home here and I always will!❤️“
“Lovely shopping experience here! The staff is friendly and helpful. The produce is fresh and beautifully displayed. The store is expensive so I have to pick and choose what I purchase here versus elsewhere but I am super grateful they moved into our neighborhood. What an upgrade!!! I love that they have coffee and pastries in the morning, ice cream in the afternoon and pizza for dinner or lunch or breakfast. The pizza is off the hook. overall fantastic“
“I’ve been going to Menchie’s in lake Oswego recently and thought I lost my taste for frozen yogurt but just picked up some froyo at Nectar and realized it’s because I’ve been going to the wrong place! The toppings were way fresher and the yogurt even tasted better than Menchies. So glad I stopped in.“
“For the people that thinks that topping are a bummer over the price, etc… that’s just because you don’t ask! E&B is more than flexible to do HALF scoops of any topping that you want! Meaning that for $2 extra you can get 4 different toppings! And if you’re very aware that you’re getting multiple toppings they can put your yogurt on a bigger bowl so nothing falls off… but remember that happens if it’s requested! Communication is key!The locations are really nice, it’s comfy and colorful. Perfect to meet with friends or have a cute date! The customer service is 10/10 and any question is answered! ?Will visit again and again!“
“This location has the best staff, very kind and appreciate their regular customers. My only suggestion would be to sell the smaller cookies individually. The cookies... Just way too good, Definitely not for the diabetic, lol. The constantly changing unique cookies idea is super fun especially because customers can make suggestions for new flavors on the website.Dietary restrictions: Soooo much sugar!!!“
“I'm gonna keep this short and sweet, pun definitely intended! Crumbl has the best cookies. There isn't anything I can add that hasn't already been said. The staff are always friendly and helpful. If you haven't come you need to. The only thing is, their menu changes every week so keep an eye on it and go on a week with something you want to try!“
“I went there because I wanted a piña loca but they didn't have the shell of the piña that it looks great when they served all inside there, and asked for sandía loca and same they didn't have the shell so I ended to buying something else, but the nachos were so delicious.“
“These are so so delicious! You can tell they're made with whole food. I've tried the coffee one, the watermelon mint one, and the peanut butter banana one. I love how they're named after planets, too! They are really a satisfying, flavorful treat. If you stop by, don't hesitate to try them! I'm hoping they'll be stocked in natural food store chains soon, but until then they're at many farmers markets. The pops do tend to melt quickly, so I recommend eating them right away or getting them in the freezer quickly. They taste fresh and exactly like what the flavor describes. Really nice for people with food allergies, too. I can't eat dairy or wheat or soy and don't have to worry about any of that with these! It's my personal mission to try every flavor :) go get yourself some delicious! They're so refreshing!“
“This is one of my all time favorite places! I had not been in for quite awhile (because of work out of town) and was not disappointed when I went this week. The young man who tends to wear his hair up was so kind to me. (had just lost my house to storm).I usually get a pot of their sencha or their hojicha and ongari. It is one of the few places a vegan can get a savory treat which is SOY free.My system doesn't seem to love sugar so I have never had their beautiful pastries. I dream of something vegan with maple syrup or coconut sugar LOLIt is the ONLY place in town with a serene environment and not a line of people for BOBAI so wish their hours were 10-4 being I prefer my caffeine early but this is a sleepy city and everything gets going later than the east coast it seems. I would also love to see Califia or Minor figures oat milk as options but I know they are more costly.LOVE THIS PLACE!“
“This place seems like such an amazing place. Its handmade and it seems they put a lot of effort in making their delicious food. There are so many choices, probably the best boba place in the area. They have mangoneada a mexican treat and even the Filipino shaved ice cream: Halo Halo. The treats are so good and probably the best I've ever had.“
“Today was amazing and the service made all the difference. The gentleman behind the counter was running solo but was patient with my kids, receptive, charming and made our stay one the best 31 Flavors visits ever. Such a refreshing change from the entitled d-bags who think they are doing you a favor or make you feel like you are the inconvience. Old school service!! Thanks! If the owner/magager sees this we were there ~330pm July 20. Give this guy a bonus! Also, while we were sitting eating our ice creams, he offered to store a cake we bought and asked whose birthday it was. Her day was made when he gave her a little birthday crown. Thanks!!!“
“Boss wanted a 'treat' for the crew and I instantly thought of Ice Cream Express. They have done several company bbq's for me in the past (in Seattle) . They really work with your budget to make sure everyone has a great selection to choose from and I am thankful for the non dairy items! Grown adults love feeling like kids again at this truck! Very communicative and friendly service!“
“Usually good, Although this store is hit or miss. I've gotten cookies so overdone that they're just crunchy which is the opposite of how they should be, I've gotten the wrong cookies, etc. But the store is always good about correcting any issues. I love that. The problem that they can't help with is the doordash drivers, most of them, do not knock and just leave the box on the ground. That's just gross! And this order today, the box near the sticker was torn and the sticker wasn't stuck! No one took a bite, but that doesn't mean they were not touched. And, naturally, he didn't knock, he just plopped them on the ground so they were cold when I got them inside. Now I am too grossed out to eat them. Thanks doordasher!“
“Love their halfsies, frosted cookies and scoops of cookie dough. I always get the classic chocolate chip + vanilla ice cream but I also love the confetti and strawberry ice cream combo! They have a cookie warmer so their cookies are super yummy for even ice cream sandwiches. Love the inside. Everyone is super nice and the place is clean!Dietary restrictions: They have vegan options and GF options“
“The employees here are wonderful and always very patient and kind with the amount of serving they do. The ice cream is hands down the best I've ever had out of anywhere I've traveled. The ingredients and flavors are so perfectly balanced and REAL, I couldn't ask for anything more. The malts, flights, banana splits, and other options offered are wonderful as well. This place was a go to for my wife while she was pregnant and we will continue to make it a family stop whenever we are in need of an ice cream fix.Everything else pales in comparison.Parking: Part of a large parking lot with other businessesWheelchair accessibility: Very wheelchair accessible.“
“LOVE THIS PLACE! We came in on a hot day and the staff was friendly and patient while my 4 year old took foreeevvveeeerrr to pick something. They've also upped their game in the flavor department- cold brew oreo FTW!! I also really wanted to try the pancake flavor, but we were keen to get out so I guess we'll just have to go back.“
“Not sure why this place has such a low average score. All in all it was a great experience. The three guys behind the counter or ultrafast and super friendly. They really seem to enjoy their job. The restaurant was clean and bright, and there's convenient parking right outside the door. I had the vanilla light ice cream with banana, pineapple, and coconut mixed in.“
