“This place is so good!!! We got the chicken burrito and steak burrito. They were big enough to split between the 3 of us. The taste of them both were top notch. Seriously excellent taste. Fresh handmade tortillas??? Yo, you’re trippin if you think this place is mid. Will definitely be coming back to try the habanero sauce. Tried the red and green and was blown away with the flavor for both. Highly recommend!!!“
“The taquitos here are delicious, made with fresh ingredients, seasoned perfectly, and balanced with some veggies and pickled onions. If you come at lunch hour, there can be a bit of a wait as they get a lot of regulars, but it's well worth it, or you can order online.“
“I ordered a beef brisket chimichanga and chicken quesadilla via Doordash. Both were exceptional. The quesadilla reminded me of one of my favorite New Mexican style restaurants in Denver: Jack-n-Grill. They use high quality cheddar (my personal preference) and chicken. I wish more restaurants understood and appreciated the superiority of quality cheddar. Also, their pico de gallo was top notch.. paired perfectly with the quesadilla. Please keep up the great work.Edit: I'm lowering my score due to service on the second order. They don't provide an option to order pico de gallo. I made a request for more, as 2 tiny cups don't suffice. It was ignored.“
“Chilango's food is an experience. Not only is it delicious, but I was immediately transported back to enjoying the rich and diverse vegan food in Mexico City. There is no other vegan food I've had in the US that compares to the vegan food scene in CDMX like this place. It's remarkable. If I could give ten stars I would.“
“We live near the French Quarter food cart pod and Taco Express is a cart that we frequent every time we come (and that's often)! The kids love the breakfast burrito, their tacos are delicious, and seriously the fries are the best of anywhere in the Village! Friendly service and convenient hours. Love this place!“
“A food truck with mighty flavors in their tacos! This was featured in netflix so it was a must stop to check out during our portland trip. It's located in Hinterland Bar& food Carts. The truck is at the end of the row, near their version of indoor/outdoor seating..The covered outdoor seating has heat lamps. The dining areaWas nice and cozy during the day. The seating area have a fair amount of seating, self-serve water, and a modest shelter from the wind and rain..I ordered the chopped brisket tacos which consist of brisket and guacamole. The brisket was the epitome of juicy. The tortilla were soft and warm. The brisket flavors together was savory delicious. It's safe to say my tastebuds were seredipity! The size of the tacos are surprisingly deceiving as they leave you feeling a healthy full..I also got the smoked turkey taco with guacamole and it was pleasing to the presentation. The turkey taco had good chunks of white turkey meat. The taco was refreshing too. I wouldn't have thought about smoked turkey tacos as my second choice but it was great to experience something different. It's great being adventurous sStreet parking since it's near a residential area. The server whohanded me my food was nice. The ordering process was a breeze as you order on atablet located at the front of the truck and they text you when your order is ready. Matt'sBBQ Tacos is a revisit when I am craving a snack at the food trucks and l'm looking forward to trying out other creations. Hope this review is helpful and thanks for reading. Have a yelptastic day.“
“This is a great neighborhood taqueria. The prices are really good for the quality of the food and the spices on the Al Pastor are some of the best I've had. Burrito bowls are my jam and this burrito bowl is seriously legit. Salsas are also great.“
“I was in Portland from out of state for a conference and Tacos Frita catered one of the meals. I loved their vegan and gluten free tacos and the pinto beans were the best I've had. I had to have their food again so I went to the food truck. Very nice people, great customer service!“
“They used to be at East Port food cars on 82nd but now they move inside fopo tavern 5902 se foster rd same delicious food like before and the best part is now I can get food until late (tacos. quesatacos, burritos, tortas, bowls wings , pork belly asada, pastor, carnitas, chorizo, Birria and yes they do have veggie options so if you get a chance stop by“
“This is the greatest burrito in all of Oregon. I was lost and now I am found. As soon as I took my first bite a single tear formed in my eye, tastiness like I had never known surged through my body. I tried to take a photo but we ate the burritos with such speed that it was simply impossible. The food, the salsa, the atmosphere and the service was the best of anything I've tried in all of Oregon. Please do yourself a favor and go to Taqueria El Paisano.“
“Well dang it! Just when I thought I had my ramen hierarchy figured out! Now I have to completely rejigger the results of several years worth of research. Kayo's is amazing!!! I'm not normally a tofu fan, but the tofu in the cold noodle dish, Chili Garlic Noodles blew me away! And my dish of Snow Ramen just outta this world.“
“This place is bomb bomb. It’s a small, family owned food truck with outside covered sitting options. The food is so delicious reliable each time & the folks making the food are so dear & warm. We come at least 1x a month if not more.“
“The tacos are amazing. I ordered asada, pollo , lengua and tripe tacos. The lengua were my favorite but all of them were amazing. i had some green and red sauce on the side and normally I don't like the red sauce much and prefer the green but the red sauce has the perfect heat and it's slightly smoky with good flavor. As long as they keep this quality I won't go anywhere else for a taco again.“
“AMAZING MEXICAN FOOD! (Yep, I meant to yell that.) This is by far the best Mexican food we've had in Portland. Carnitas and Carne Asada both perfectly seasoned. Order the grilled onions and jalapeños. Just do it. We don't drink alcohol, so can't speak to the execution of the several mixed drinks on the menu except to say they are big and look tasty. Ordered take out twice in one week. Tried to order the flan the first time we ordered, but they were sold out. Granted, it was within a hour of closing on a Sunday. Next time - score! Simply yum!! Staff? They were friendly and got our orders out on time. Next time we'll dine in. Churros need to be eaten right out of the kitchen, right? Do yourself a favor and check them out.Parking: Several parking spots next to the building and some street parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Street level entrance. No stairs.“
“This is hands down one of the best mexican food trucks I have tried out here in Portland. It's authentic, service is wonderful, and it tastes great every single time. This is literally my go to spot for tacos, chilaquiles, morisqueta and milanesa. They just added asada fries and it's *chef kiss* amazing. A true hidden gem in the NW Portland area.“
“Amazing tacos! Filled to the brim with Carne Asada…wonderful salas. Very nice people…great customer service. She wrapped my tacos beautifully so I could tuck them under my cycling jacket and transport them safely home where I devoured them.“
“I purchased lunch for my team at work and every one of us couldn’t get enough. To quote one person “it’s like a flavor party in my mouth!” Is an understatement. All of the flavors were perfectly paired, and not overpowering with one or the other. I can’t wait to get more!“
“Pleasant unassuming coffee shop and Mexican cuisine place. I love that I can get 2 street tacos with a 12oz black drip coffee for under $10!Parking: If you’re lucky you can park right in front, I saw a delivery guy do it, he was in and out.“
“After the big winter storm of 2024, my apartment complex had El Sazon, come out. I liked watching them prepare our food in front of us, even if it did take some time. I don’t eat out much.I ordered 4 street tacos for $12.00. They were delicious.“
“This is a great place for some real Mexican street food. The last time we grabbed food to go, we got the birria (beef and goat), which are both delicious, and the pozole is also amazing. In addition to the soups, the menu offers a wide variety of tacos, burritos, nachos, and plates (the mole is wonderful). Sahuayo Taqueria is located in the J&Ts Market, so it is more of a "to-go" option than a sit-down type of experience. In the summer, there is outdoor seating.“
“Best Mexican food in the area, fresh food, made quickly with care. Can't tell you how much we love Saul and his cart, they never disappoint, always tasty and generous portions at a very reasonable price. Hope they never leave, we're there at least once a week. We wish them the best with the upgraded new truck, and eating area, more great food!!“
“So happy I finally went to this local food cart! Taco Machine is a little food cart with seating space + a heater provided (huge win for a solo food cart pod)! Alongside this, there is a large selection of tacos and burritos to choose from.I had the breakfast burrito on my visit and it was delicious, I will definitely be back to get some tacos. I highly recommend Taco Machine, it is going to become a normal visit for me!“
“I eat here regularly. Really good asada. Believe it or not, best burger around. It's called the bypass burger. It's big on a cheddar bun with thick bacon lettuce tomatoes onions and cheddar cheese. It's absolutely delicious. I'll post pics next time I order. They have bomb breakfast also“
“Though this food cart's menu is heavy on meat, I always get a veggie burrito which is packed with cheese, beans, avocado as well as other veggies. The tasty burrito is huge and is more than I can eat in one sitting. Service is fast and friendly.“
“I just have to say this is one of the only places in general… food cart or restaurant where I eat every last drop on my plate. You guys are kind, never have an attitude or expect a thing more than cooking up good food. Found my new favorite place for tacos… you won’t regret eating here, don’t let the location fool you it’s ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“The breakfast tacos are incredible every time. The pork belly, brisket, pulled pork and house made sausage are all tied for my favorite. The flour tortillas are light and fluffy. Thrilled they’re at this new location closer to my house. Have already ordered twice in two weeks ?“
“I had a torta which was good but different, its not your normal mexican tortas you'd expect. Its not a bad thing if you don't mind it when there a twist to traditional Mexican food then you will like the food and flavors there. Its just not what the typical flavors are when your expectations are authentic Mexican food. Its definitely worth trying.“
“Came here right after arriving back home from an overseas vacation and craving authentic Mexican food. It was incredible. Tucked away in the less-than-ideal area of Old Town, this is a little gem. It is a small, cozy family run taqueria spot. So far, it is the only taqueria I have found in PDX that has an actual big trompo method of cooking their al pastor (pork). We ordered some al pastor tacos, chorizo tacos, and birria plate (some quesatacos with consomé) and homemade horchata. Everything was so juicy and tender. The al pastor is perfectly marinated and you can only get that charbroiled taste from the trompo. All the tacos have double tortillas, street style to keep the fillings intact. The birria consomé was so rich and flavorful. The chorizo was perfectly spiced and not dry. The homemade horchata is probably the best and creamiest horchata we've had yet. And finally, to top it off their homemade roja and verde chili salsas perfectly complimented everything. This place is now our go-to taqueria for legit authentic trompo al pastor and quesabirria consomé! Will definitely be a returning regular patron!“
“I've been here twice now and the food has been consistently good. First time I got the Cali burrito which was tasty, but I do wish the fries were just a little crispier. They seemed just a little undercooked. Second time I got the super nachos with chicken and they were good. A ton of food for a good price. Service is also consistently great and I love all their salsas. Definitely want to come back and try the ramen and queso taco next time.“
“Look it’s a food cart on sandy blvd, that’s why I gave it a 3 star for atmosphere, this place is a great place to eat for lunch, real fast service, I’ve eaten lots of different dishes here and all of them have been great, the staff are all real nice.“
“Wow! The best Birria tacos that I’ve ever had! Tender, flavorful meat and the yummiest consommé to dip in. The guacamole and chips was delicious as well. Parking was easy on a side street and the outdoor seating on two sides of the building allow you to catch a breeze while you eat. The staff is awesome too. Try them out….you will not be disappointed.“
“Birrieria PDX is always a go to for authentic birria tacos! This location is my favorite because of the location, amazing service, and they always play great music outside the covered area! The covered area is great for PNW weather — they also have outdoor heaters.10/10 recommend!“
“Good food , I got the bulgogi and rice as well as the fried chicken , both prepare well. The bulgogi seems like two-three meals, and the chicken was crispy and delicious I recommend try the sauce first to make sure it's right for you. Definitely will be back for a burger“
“My friends & I wanted to try a New Mexican food joint out & we stumbled upon Fabos Tacos on our search & decided to give it a shot. It's located in China Town. Parking is street parking only, since it's downtown. The restaurant has a cool vibe, more modern with touches of traditional taqueria decor. The food was good! I unfortunately did not get to try the al pastor since we went later in the evening & they didn't have anymore, but they are known for their al pastor. No complaints about the food, everything tasted good. The only thing keeping this from being a 5 star review is the price, I do feel it is a little expensive especially for the amount of food we got. $4 each for the small sides of beans & rice was a lot in my opinion. As well as $4 for the small cup of horchata I got. The hot sauces were flavorful but lacked heat. Which can be a good or bad thing depending on your preference. Ordering was easy, they had menus at the register. The cashier was nice & friendly & brought our food to our table. Overall, the food was good but I don't know if I'll be coming here often due to the price & it just being far from where I live. But if you are in the downtown/China Town area, definitely give them a try!“
“This is a small place in an old house with a very cozy, warm and inviting atmosphere. The Mexican food was prepared fresh and the service was speedy and the host and hostess acknowledged my presence right away with a smile. The quesadillas and tacos were a tad spicier than I'm accustomed to (and I'm a wimpy white guy when it comes to spicy food) but the spices made the tacos much more satisfying. Keep up the good work!“
“First time here. Chips and salsa, chicken tacos, pescado tacos. All very delicious. Ordered food to go, ordered a beverage while waiting and didn't even get halfway through before the food was ready. House margarita was really good. Friendly and efficient staff. Fun place. We'll be back.“
“I've been here twice now and the food has been consistently good. First time I got the Cali burrito which was tasty, but I do wish the fries were just a little crispier. “Seriously, the best tacos we’ve ever had. Legit so good. Got a shrimp taco and a quesataco. The ingredients are fresh. The birria was perfectly marinated and the shrimp was perfectly cooked. What made the tacos extra special was the crispy but not crunchy corn tortilla. It’s almost like a toasted tortilla. Thoroughly enjoyed this place.“
“As a sober chick - not only am I grateful, but I am beyond appreciative, that they have nonalcoholic and Mocktail versions of all of their cocktails. I never once felt out of place and for that I have to give five stars. Thank you Brenton for the amazing service and the fantastic mocktails. An amazing birthday celebration for an amazing gal✨“
“Fantastic food, limited vegetarian options but the dish I ordered, Aquacates Tacos were just amazing. The combination of all the different spices creates a flavorful taco treat. My son ordered the Carlita's Skillet and just enjoyed the flavors.Great spot for a beer and some food.“
“If you find yourself at El Nutri Taco, at least on Woodstock, you're probably not there for the atmosphere. That said, it has some outside seating for the summer months and nice days. As for the food, I'm not going to point Mexicanos there saying that la comida es la más auténtica. The meat burritos are decent, on par for "Mexican," Tex-Mex, Chicano food in Portland. The tacos are decent too. However, what El Nutri Taco has over other taquerías in the area is the vegetarian and vegan options, and these options are pretty diverse and tasty, so if you got some vegan friends and you all want to eat at the same place, I would definitely recommend El Nutri Taco.Vegetarian options: Check out the menu, but a lot of the burritos - unless otherwise specified- are vegetarian by default and you can add a meat choice to them.“
“I've been meaning to go here for awhile because I always smell it on my 7-11 runs and it smells amazing. I got the birria burrito and it was so good I regret that I took so long to try it. I ended up eating my leftovers for lunch the next day and had to fight off my coworkers. The consomé was perfect just spooned on top of each bite (I know I'm supposed to dip it, I'm a birria newbie). The owner also recommended the melon agua fresca and it was a surprise hit - it was refreshing and the perfect amount of sweet. I can't wait to return and I look forward to being a regular.“
“I have never seen a Guatemalan food truck serve so many authentic Guatemalan dishes before. Basically, everything my mom makes was on this menu, it was very exciting to see. I am plant-based so unfortunately I am not able to eat most dishes but that's ok b/c that's how it's supposed to be. I was able to try the bean & cheese pupusas & wow, they were sooooo good. Huge portions, super soft & fresh masa (dough), beautiful repollo (slaw), & salsa. It really hit the spot & I will def be coming back when I'm needing something that reminds me of home. Wish I could eat the Pepian; I saw someone else who ordered it & it looked incredible. The staff was super friendly & humored me when I wanted to know if they were Guatemalan & talk about my family lol. There are tables to sit at with a cover so you stay dry.“

“Papi Chulo’s is a solid option for some nice Mexican food on 13th! The steak burrito was great and my friend got the Birria burrito (I’ll be getting that next time, it looked amazing). The food came out pretty quick and the service was nice! The ambiance is fun and it’s a nice location on 13th. It’s a fun spot with some nice bars in the area.“
“Got the pdx sampler and horchata and was amazed at how amazing it was! As well there was a few people in line ahead of us and we got served in a timely manner and food was definitely worth the wait! Husband and I will definitely be coming back!“
“The food is always delicious and filling. Very family friendly and the staff is incredibly kind and prompt. Samuel is our regular server and we absolutely love him and always look forward to seeing his smiling face. Ramon was a new face tonight and was also great.“
“Kell was super sweet and very nice, great customer service and the bartender guy was nice aswell, the food was delicious and Cadillac Margaritas off the hook! We definitely will be back,I do think the patio door should be shut off though to many interesting people coming by and can just come in and take things from patio though.keep customers safe along with staff.“
“Since they're situated at a gas station, I can't give them full marks for "atmosphere," but they do the best they can. however, the food and service were both outstanding. This food is really, really good. Will definitely put in our regular take-out rotation.Dietary restrictions: One gluten-free and dairy-free eater here, and they accommodated the DF without issue. Delicious!“
