“El Jefe is my favorite Spot to get food. However, the food cart does not have drinks such as Horchata and Jamaica. At the restaurant you can get as many limes, radishes, cilantro, etc. for free as you want. They have a bar for it. I recommend going to the restaurant instead of the food cart. The Food cart charged me for limes“

“Exceptionally delicious, a true gem, and with chef/owners who are even nicer. Their classic Mexican fare is both familiar and surprising, full of special touches and a signature attention to detail that makes each and every dish shine. For just one example, the chicken enchiladas plate is prepared bone-in – two massive drumsticks star on a plate where nothing plays backup. The meat is succulent, full of flavor, and fall-off-the-bone tender. Served with potatoes, avocado, fresh and pickled veg... It’s fantastic, balanced, and craveable. The birria in any incarnation is also super solid. We come back so often, we will eventually make it through the whole menu. But we’re stuck on our favorites, so it will take us a very long time before we reach the end. DO NOT SLEEP ON THEIR INSANELY GOOD SEASONAL CHAMPURRADO.“

“This was my second visit. This time I chose three street tacos: beef, chicken and fish. The beef was fantastic! Definitely a 10/10. The chicken was good, 8/10. The fish was disappointing because I was hoping for grilled fish but they have breaded fish. It’s a bit heavy and awkward to eat. Not my favorite. It was tasty, just not for me. My partner had a shrimp taco and said it was fantastic, 10/10. Beer is tasty. I love this place! Service and atmosphere are great. Highly recommend.“

“Like everyone says, the food here is fantastic... the problem, and really the only problem, is their hours are widly inconsistent. Monday morning, 11am, not open. Saturday morning at 10:40am, not open (was waiting for 25 mins cuz we were hungry) but opened 25 mins later“

I’m not usually one to write this big of reviews with five stars and all good things, but the staff is always extremely friendly, the food is always extremely fresh, if you show up 15 or 10 minutes before close they will still give you the freshest best food. They load their tacos full of meat, (they are expensive, but I feel like it’s worth the price.)—Because they give you a lot of meat and cheese and all the good stuff with your order. Again, They’re always friendly, and as I mentioned the food is always very fresh. I never used to be a TacoTime fan until I ate here. I probably would not eat at any other TacoTime other than this one !!“

“Its a restaurant inside of a Hispanic grocery store. Don't let that stop you though - its reasonably priced, delicious, and has plenty of options. Its extraordinarily casual though.

FYI I was sort of bribed. I ordered a burrito and the owner gave me a sample of Quesobritas con consume (probably after seeing how white I am). Was delicious. Main order was also delicious.“
