“A craft cocktail bar in a suburban Hilton. Does the ambiance leave something to be desired? Yes, but… the cocktail menu and drink quality here make it a quirky and well worth it visit. The head bartender here is clearly well trained and talented. He introduced himself and explained that he creates the seasonal menu himself. The ingredients are high quality, including homemade syrups and shrubs. He made an on the spot mocktails for our group as well as the amazing cocktails.“

“Just moved into the area, was stoked to see Harder Days coffee open up; and imagine my surprise when I saw these taco truck and smoothie truck next door.

Enjoying a draft beer or cortado or kombucha while listening to the dulcet tones of Sandy Blvd while you eat your tacos is certainly a bonus, but this review is about the main course.

I ordered a pastor taco and an asada taco. Total came out to $2.50 which is solid these days.

The pastor meat was a tad on the chewy side but not bad at all. Great flavor. Carne asada had a nice chew and char. The tortillas were cooked perfectly and gave a nice texture to the whole thing. Salsa roja was my favorite kind, maybe some type of chile de arbol or something else roasted to give it a nice opaque dark red.

“Absolutely loved Fabos Tacos! I got the Birria plate and horchata. And man it was fire, If you love a flavorful horchata to go along side your amazing tacos and consomé, or just amazing food in general. This place will have you.“

For just one example, the chicken enchiladas plate is prepared bone-in – two massive drumsticks star on a plate where nothing plays backup. The meat is succulent, full of flavor, and fall-off-the-bone tender. Served with potatoes, avocado, fresh and pickled veg... It’s fantastic, balanced, and craveable. The birria in any incarnation is also super solid. We come back so often, we will eventually make it through the whole menu. “We stopped in around 4pm on a Sunday and it was pretty empty. We ordered at the counter, 4 tacos and two sodas for $37.50. A little steep for tacos - asada, shrimp, ribeye and fish. The tacos come out in taco holders and are pretty good sized, with a fair amount of meat. The flour tortillas are fresh with a really nice chew. Each plate had one type of salsa, I had green but preferred the red on my partner’s plate. The fish taco was nicely fried with a thin, crisp batter. The ribeye had lots of flavor and was good with the red salsa. Service was somewhat non-existent as we ordered at the counter and then they brought the food out. There were a couple parties that came in confused with the process, waiting for someone to approach them at the patio tables. Overall good tacos, on the expensive side but pretty filling.“

“First time visit last night with six of us and they are very nicely opened up the toast restaurant and let us sit in there and we had such a nice evening and the waiter was so friendly and wonderful and really helped us out to get acquainted with the offerings we tried the vegetarian potstickers and also the various vegetarian tacos which were really good. Later we each had a vegetarian Ramen and every single one was delicious and I especially liked the one with the tofu and the hard-boiled egg and the spinach. They brought a small container of warm sake for me which I really liked with a tiny cup I got to choose. OverallI gave it a big 10+ and I would definitely eat there again and probably will go back pretty soon. The main thing is to try to find a time when the parking is not completely full in the area be prepared to park a ways away and walk which is good for us so it really wasn’t a problem.“

I’m not usually one to write this big of reviews with five stars and all good things, but the staff is always extremely friendly, the food is always extremely fresh, if you show up 15 or 10 minutes before close they will still give you the freshest best food. They load their tacos full of meat, (they are expensive, but I feel like it’s worth the price.)—Because they give you a lot of meat and cheese and all the good stuff with your order. Got a hash brown burrito with chorizo instead.
Burrito is decent, big, very big, but simple, lots of hash brown inside, cheese and chorizo.
I was planning to give a mid review but the salsas made up for the mid burrito, salsa is where it's at.
Make sure to take some on your way out.
Got to try more things from them I guess before I make my mind but it's not a bad place to refuel“
