Mgwalexs is the best Hawaiian food I’ve had in Portland. No one has been able to top their quality, portions or MAC SALAD. I love this Hawaiian gem and am so grateful for their grub. Mahalo Mgwalexs ?????
Had lunch with a coworker while working near by, the chicken was very moist and flavorful. My friend got the teriyaki burger and she was pleased with her choice. OverallWould visit again I like that there is an indoor seating area to get out of the elements despite it being a food truck.

Shoyu chicken is good! Idk why a tiny dab of hot stuff needs to cost $.75 extra. Rice was waaay mushy. Mac salad was excellent but the scoop was a lil small. I really wish steamed veggies were a side option, maybe it's just not on the menu? They only have stir fried ones for almost $7. Would try again and hope rice batch is better.Vegetarian options: Basically no veggie options unless you just want sides.
