as a native of Louisiana, I can vouch for the catfish poboy.... Soft french roll with crunchy corn meal filets of catfish....perfect! The atmosphere and service were top notch, and the owner made us feel very welcome by taking time to really speak with our table. This spot is easily my favorite go-to hangout now.
This is one of my favorite places to eat in Portland. The food is So flavorful that you simply can't go wrong no matter what you order. The service is outstanding, even when they are having a rush or are understaffed. There's also a good chance you meet the owner while dining, as he's frequently taking orders, serving drinks or doing something else to keep everything running smoothly.
