“I was in Portland from out of state for a conference and Tacos Frita catered one of the meals. I loved their vegan and gluten free tacos and the pinto beans were the best I've had. I had to have their food again so I went to the food truck. Very nice people, great customer service!“
“This was my family’s first time eating at Mestizo and we were not disappointed. I have Celiac and my daughter has a severe dairy intolerance. For once, all 3 of us were able to order several dishes to SHARE! This never happens at restaurants with our many dietary restrictions. My non-GF/DF husband loved everything, too. Note: the entire restaurant is 100% gluten free and Celiac safe, but there is dairy present in some of the dishes. However, it was very easy for them to accommodate us by taking an ingredient off, etc. Our favorites were the fried shrimp, elote, fish tacos, and the chicken tinga tostados. The drinks were also amazing. The waitstaff is attentive and kind and our food came out super fast, but still incredibly fresh. The flavors are what put this restaurant over the top for me. Everything had a very specific (delicious) flavor that made the dish special. Do NOT miss out on the GF gem! (I suggest getting a reservation for weekend nights and possibly even weekday night.) My family and I cannot wait to go back!Dietary restrictions: 100% dedicated gluten free restaurant. They also serve several vegan and vegetarian dishes. Dairy free is easy to do here, too.“
“Amazing creative dishes. Palm ceviche is fabulous as are all the entrees I can’t spell and the empanadas are flaky and delicious salsas aren’t really necessary but they are also incredible. Causas were wonderful. I couldn’t like this restaurant more if I was vegan. Highly recommend Epif.“
“Had the single chicken and loved how unique and savory the flavors were. Highlights for me are the rice and beans which I could make a meal out of on their own. Additional shout out to the broth/drippings they included. It really took the chicken and rice to another level.“
“Omg so good! We got the lomo sandwiches and agreed it was the best sandwich either of us had eaten in a looong time. The flavor was so satisfying and delicious. The bread was also a surprisingly perfect choice, grilled to perfection. We were so happy!“
“Chicken And Guns is no joke. I will def come back to this pod specifically for this chicken. The sauces are fire and the simplicity yet care put into the food is ever present. The chicken is an experience and tastes amazing, without the sauce. The "guns" are just broken, deep fried chunks of potato and they're delicious. Even the pickled onions were fire. Worth the trip over the bridge, for sure.“
“We have been coming to El Inka for about 15 years, since they were located in Gresham. They have since moved to SE Division. Their Pollo El Inka (Chicken of the Inkas?) is amazing, i would recommend it anytime. Their yellow sauce and fries also taste delicious. This is a great and authentic Peruvian restaurant. We love it!“
“New favorite Restaurant!!! Food was excellent, drinks were also great! Our favorite dishes were the carne asada plate and the tequitos. We had crepes for desert and they were to die for. We will definitely be back! Our server was Mike and he added such a special touch to our experience. This place is a hidden “
“I went right when they opened so i had the whole place to myself. I ordered a cubano sandwich and it came with tostones (fried plantain). The portion was big so i could only eat half. It's very tasty. Your order at the counter and get a number so there's really no service. They also have utensil and water station set up for self-serve. Follow me @bonn_voyager for more.“
“Writing this as I'm enjoying the delicious Vegan plate. Even with the white rice, because the Cuban rice had chicken stock, it is seriously one of the best vegan dishes in Portland. The plantains are tasty and a great texture and the beans and rice are so delicious, especially with the sauce that comes with the plate The yucca fries are also unbelievable. When you go you can scan a QR code to help donate to the Mercado while also enjoying an amazing meal.11/10My GF was jealous and stole my food. If ya'll ever made vegan croquettes, I would stop by all the time.Vegetarian options: There's only one option, but it's really REALLY good. Gotta get it with white rice though, but seriously so tasty.Dietary restrictions: Vegan“
“First time here w my mom who’s visiting from Denver where there’s a lot to Hodureno food.I ordered the Baleada de Asada and a pastelito de pollo. My mother ordered pollo con tajada. It was all so good and so colorful. The curtido was on point and the sauce they use was light sweet and creamy. The agua de maracuya was fire!!“
“This is a small place in an old house with a very cozy, warm and inviting atmosphere. The Mexican food was prepared fresh and the service was speedy and the host and hostess acknowledged my presence right away with a smile. The quesadillas and tacos were a tad spicier than I'm accustomed to (and I'm a wimpy white guy when it comes to spicy food) but the spices made the tacos much more satisfying. Keep up the good work!“
“Weston—best bartender ever!! Very engaging—great conversation about cocktails— bartending—I was a bartender back in college—many, many years ago — made me feel right at home even though I was solo.Great experience. And I love this place!! Great for families, kids,And as we age—sitting at the bar enjoying a great margaritaThanks for making me feel welcome ?“
“We have been eating here for years and my son will not eat beans and rice from ANYWHERE else. Love their delicious brown sauce on their enchiladas--not like the red tomato-y sauce like other places. Also, crispy rellenos are good, too! Oh yeah, and their horchata and sopapillas are great! So sad they are no longer open for evening hours!“
“It's a good food cart to grab some quick food when in the area. They are usually the ones that have longer operating hours than the other carts in the area. We stopped by and shared a chorizo quesadilla while waiting for our other stuff. The flavor of the chorizo was on point, and the quesadilla did its job. The person working there was friendly and quick to prepare our food.“
“I've heard about this place from plenty of friends and it did not disappoint. I went with three friends to celebrate someone's birthday. We ordered one of everything on the menu and that was the perfect amount of food for us. My favorites were the pork quesadilla and the chicken flauta. I'll be returning!“
“Came on a Saturday to have brunch with a couple friends. They weren't busy when we arrived (11a.m.), but packed by the time we were leaving.I had the Eggs Benedict. It was delicious, but the braised pork was over seasoned to me, still edible and tasty if you add a bite to the delicious little roasted potatoes. We all shared a side of Yuca fries, and pecan crusted/candied bacon. Both delicious, and the sauce provided for the fries was amazing. The service was also fantastic! Our server was very friendly and attentive.I would reccomend checking this place out. I will be back.“
