“Palomar Portland is THE BEST place for Cuban inspiration and atmosphere. A bar and eatery, they welcomed us with a crew of dancers from Alaska just before closing and split food and drinks so the kids could sample everything and the staff LOVED every minute of it. We were blown away. We WILL be back!“
“I tried a sample of the empanadas at an OAME networking event and knew I wanted to visit their Cafe. Simply delicious!! As did the samples served at the event, our food on our plates were consumed, enjoyed! I ordered a to-go box that never made it home. Yes!! Consumed and enjoyed! Highly recommend! Great location on Jefferson, across from the Smart Park.“
“Writing this as I'm enjoying the delicious Vegan plate. Even with the white rice, because the Cuban rice had chicken stock, it is seriously one of the best vegan dishes in Portland. The plantains are tasty and a great texture and the beans and rice are so delicious, especially with the sauce that comes with the plate The yucca fries are also unbelievable. When you go you can scan a QR code to help donate to the Mercado while also enjoying an amazing meal.11/10My GF was jealous and stole my food. If ya'll ever made vegan croquettes, I would stop by all the time.Vegetarian options: There's only one option, but it's really REALLY good. Gotta get it with white rice though, but seriously so tasty.Dietary restrictions: Vegan“
“The first time I came to this place I didn't have many expectations when I entered, but it really is delicious and above all clean and very friendly, the lady who served us told me that they do dances and it starts at 9 from Friday to Sunday and they do karaoke For those who like to sing, I don't know how to dance, but one day I will definitely stay and dance, but what I do recommend is the food, oh, and handmade tortillas.“
“One of our favorite restaurants in Portland! What a precious gem we are lucky to have. The food is amazing, superior quality, family recipes. I like to order a couple of appetizers, split an entree with a pal & get dessert. Dessert is not to be missed! If you don't have room, take one to go-you will not be sorry! The beverages (alcoholic & non-alcoholic) are super good too. The staff is always wonderful. There are yummy options for vegetarians. There's a lovely outdoor patio that is heated in the winter. Can't say enough good things about this place & it's food-don't delay, go there now! Every time I eat here, my heart, soul & stomach are FULL.Vegetarian options: Empanadas, tamales, avocado salad, rice & beans, maduros (sweet fried plantains), mushrooms, yucca (similar to potato), Caribbean coleslaw, Amazing beverages & dessert!“
“I went right when they opened so i had the whole place to myself. I ordered a cubano sandwich and it came with tostones (fried plantain). The portion was big so i could only eat half. It's very tasty. Your order at the counter and get a number so there's really no service. They also have utensil and water station set up for self-serve. Follow me @bonn_voyager for more.“
“Ordered the Ropa Veija. It had the BEST flavor, and the meat was so tender. The black beans were delicious I have never had black beans that delicious before!!! Also ordered Tostones and the green sauce that came with it was sooooooo amazing. Is a little expensive but worth every penny.“
