Caiman Cafe Reviews
I tried a sample of the empanadas at an OAME networking event and knew I wanted to visit their Cafe. Simply delicious!! As did the samples served at the event, our food on our plates were consumed, enjoyed! I ordered a to-go box that never made it home. Yes!! Consumed and enjoyed! Highly recommend! Great location on Jefferson, across from the Smart Park.
I am visiting the northwest from San Antonio. Drove down from Seattle.
The Chilaquiles tan con madre!
Definitely a most try
Extremely delicious breakfast. Kind workers. Gotta order at the counter and bus your own table… but the food really was outstanding. Slightly pricey but the flavor was worth. Love their spicy salsa. Coffee was excellent too. Will come back :)

Caiman Cafe offers a diverse menu with vegetarian and vegan options, including the popular plato vegetariano, yucca burrito, and veggie sandwich. The cafe is a great place to stop in for lunch or breakfast, with a cozy atmosphere that features nice decor and welcoming music. Their coffee drinks, such as Mexican mocha and horchata latte, are also a hit, and one customer praised the hot chocolate made with grandma's Mexican chocolate as the best they ever had, describing its rich flavors and smooth consistency.
The owners take pride in their food and service, ensuring a high-quality dining experience. Though wait times may be slightly longer than expected, the flavorful and authentic dishes make it well worth the wait. A recent visitor enjoyed the pork sandwich, noting its rich flavor and tender meat, while another appreciated the flexibility of creating a custom vegetarian taco. Caiman Cafe is definitely worth stopping by if in the area, offering a satisfying meal in a charming setting.
