“I have to admit that we tried Roxy's a few years back and thought it was nothing special like so many teriyaki places. We happened to be at the commons for a music concert and needed dinner. Unknown to me, but my son really likes it. My wife and I shared the beef teriyaki, which I admit I would be totally willing to go get again. The portions are very generous, so they are great to split. The service was very friendly and helpful. Definitely will go back when my wife and I need a good dinner. Glad I gave it another try.“

“I always go here for chicken katsu and teriyakis. Katsu is crispy and comes with sauce on the side which is perfect and also huge portion. And I pair it with unsweetened black iced tea. Also good spam musubi. Always intrigued to try the poke, looks fresh.“

“First time in Portland so doing some searching I found it that there's a big population of hawaiian in the city so decided to look for one around. Hubby found this incredible restaurant I am so happy he did, from the decor to the food and the service it was actually an awesome experience. The korean chicken and the teriyaki were bomb, 10/10.“

“The exterior of this place looks terrible to the eyes but the interior is well kept. The food is extremely affordable. They have 3 different sizes and the service is fast. Didn't realize that a drive through existed but it was quickly confirmed when I saw the cashier with a headpiece and handing a meal out the window. Maybe it should be better pointed out. But walking isn't that hard, at least for someone with decent knees.
Parking: Free parking. You wouldn't have to worry about it if you just used the drive through though“

“I had the Sensei Poke Bowl and for the price I got a lot of food with great quality. I almost couldn’t finish it there was so much, but I did because it was so good. The man who served me was very nice. The seating area for this food cartel is the best I’ve seen.“

“Yummy Hawaiian food! A little too salty but still delicious. Food portions were big. Craft beer inside and food truck outside. The surrounding area and street has quite a few RV’s/tents/homeless people riding bikes and walking up and down the street. Didnt feel super unsafe while I was there“

“I was looking for a place to pick up an onigiri in the morning from time to time, and this place opens at 9am which is great! Really cute shop, they have taiyaki, musubi, and a nice variety of onigiri, and it is affordable and exactly what you want. There is really nothing quite like this in the Portland area...its a little treasure. The staff are so friendly, i will be sure to recommend this place to all my passengers, friends, and family!“

“A real gem in the university district! Having been to Hawaii and eaten authentic plate lunch I can assure you the other reviews are incorrect. The restaurant is clean and spacious. The food is prepared well, tastes excellent and is priced very reasonably for the large portions. Something hard to find in the area. Another rarity is the owners take the time to get to know their customers. You can expect to be asked if you want "the usual" if you dine more than a few times. It is refreshing to see hard working small business owners still making it work.“

“Every time I’ve been here they are super nice, and the poke bowl is fresh and delicious. They never try to hurry you when you’re looking at all the options on the menu. I also love the complimentary miso soup and wide selection of drink options. Best poke bowl place in the greater Portland area.
Vegetarian options: The tofu is very yummy, most places overfry tofu making it tough and chewy, but I like this place a lot
Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options“

“This is literally my favorite food in the Beaverton/Hillsboro area. The people here have really great energy and are always so kind. My go-to was always a silog bowl with chicken tocino + potatoes + sauce ... ???.
I started going weekly and it quickly became one of the highlights of most work weeks. A must-have.“

“A note about safety : commercial Kava products are often made with stem peelings with contain Pipermethystine . It has been reported that heavy native drinkers of traditional Kava preparations in Oceania tend to have elevated liver enzymes. I know a lot of us rely on Kava for life outside of addiction, just be careful if you have liver damage. Theres a lot of beautiful plants out there that aren't as fetishized and commercialized that offer beautiful effects on anxiety and euphoria. When i visited this bar i enjoyed the drink they made me, however the attendant was not very knowledgeable.“

“Roxy's has become my clear favorite Hawaiian restaurants in the area. I have visited the Canby, Tualatin, Scholls, Cedar Hills and Sherwood location. They're all very consistently well ran and the food is great across the board. I cook Hawaiian food at home and they have become the goal flavor profiles I have been trying to replicate for years but still have a lot of work to get there.“

“Food was delicious! My wife was craving Hawaiian shaved ice and this place delivered. We had the sumo plate which was big enough to split and the spicy pork was mouth watering good. Staff was also so kind. Whatever you get, make sure you save enough room for the shaved ice and add the coconut ice cream.“

“This restaurant, located in Hotel Vance, is a neighborhood gem. For breakfast and lunch, they offer American and Hawaiian dishes. After 5 PM, they switch to a Korean menu. I ordered the Mochi waffle with Korean spiced popcorn chicken, served with warm syrup and hot sauce. It was one of the best-tasting waffles I've had and was visually appealing. The restaurant is spacious with modern furnishings, and the service was fantastic.
I brought my husband dinner and ordered the KFC, Army soup, and kimchee pancake, which were very tasty.“

“The vibes were good!
My friend beat the great balls of fire challenge and got his photo on the wall! We were too lowkey about it and had to remind the waitress several times to get his photo taken
I got the fish tacos and the fish was great, well seasoned, maybe a bit undercooked and soft. The tortillas were lacking. They were a bit crumbly and didn’t seem to be heated at all.
Otherwise, the drinks were good and a good deal! The margarita was good for an $8 drink!
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options were clearly labeled!“

“really flavorful poke, perfectly cooked rice, not a lot of selections for topping but you dont need much! got the regular bowl with garlic salmon with spicy tuna and my partner got the albacore with shoyu ahi tuna and we loved both dishes! overall delicious bowl of poke would definitely come in again!“

“I have only been to the Beaverton location and was excited to learn that there was another closer to me. I love their bowls so much. The only difference between the two spots is that Beaverton has a seared Albacore and this location doesn't. I still loved the raw tuna, but would love it if they also got the seared tuna. Friendly service!“

“Wife and I visited our daughter and family in Portland,Oregon and we were happy to see that they had a L&L Drive In nearby in Beaverton. We went early and were the first customer that morning. The Hawaiian combination laulau and kalua pig plate and chicken Katsu plate was excellent, large portions and reasonable prices. Thank you L&L counter girls and cook!

“We’ve been wanting to try this place for a couple months now and finally made it in. The owner was super friendly and the food was delish! There’s a handful of options available, and they have a bunch of sauces to pick from. I got the Maui Girl plate. I definitely recommend!“
