Went here on a Tuesday just about 10 minutes after opening hours. HK is most definitely that traditional dim sum restaurant place. I got seated quickly, and shortly after was greeted by one of the staff pushing the carts who offered me some food. I got the siu mai, har gow, and steamed BBQ pork buns. We thought it was some of the best Chinese food we've had in Portland. Highlights were the fried rice, chow mein and kung pao chicken. We enjoyed everything we got there we need to try more of the dim sum
Anytime I am in Portland is a trip for dim sum here. Love the carts and variety. Always take a tip from the servers pushing the carts. Not on the dim sum picture menu but was offered - 'Peanut Pork' a half moon shaped fried goodie. I passed and she said it's very very good, I should try. And she was RIGHT. Delicious.
