“What a great little gem! I love the ability to choose my ingredients and have someone else cook them! You can load up on as many veggies, meat and noodle combinations as you want. There are also a great many different sauces and oils to choose from. Shrimp, chicken, pork, beef and fish! Pick one, pick two, pick them all! The veggies were nicely sliced and fresh.
The restaurant was clean and comfortable and the staff were exceptionally kind. They were helpful, attentive and just plain old sweet! If I am ever in the area, I would certainly come back again!“

“Best (and maybe only) handpulled Chinese noodles in the Portland area. The taste is quite on point with the ones I came to love in Northern China.

The only problem is the close early sometimes and aren't open on weekends. If they were, we'd no doubt have gone countless more times.

The spice level is no joke. I like it spicy, but still feel the heat (wouldn't have it any other way).“

“Master Kong's looks like a pretty unassuming neighborhood restaurant, like a lot of those in Portland, but the jianbing here really punches above its weight! We had a few different dumplings, the beef brisket, the jianbing, some vegetables, and everything was very well prepared and delicious. Loved it!“

“A single, giant dumpling is the perfect food. For years I’ve fooled myself into believing I need many, smaller and dare I say lesser dumplings. The scales have fallen from my eyes as soon as I stepped foot in the Bistro. More is not always better. Sometimes what you need to do is distill an experience down into its Platonic core.

“Best service, food, and atmosphere! Ordered crab puffs, gyoza, veg fried rice, Mongolian beef, sweet & sour chicken,
shredded pork with pickled cabbage, bacon fried rice, and shrimp Lo Mein. Everything was excellent. Fresh broccoli with just the right sweetness and crunch, sweet & sour sauce to write home about. Best Mongolian Beef we've had. Big crab puffs with lots of filling. The sauteed onions in a few dishes made me want to dance. Perfectly cooked Lo Mein noodles. This is now our favorite Chinese food venue. We'll be back whenever we're in the area.“

“First time visit last night with six of us and they are very nicely opened up the toast restaurant and let us sit in there and we had such a nice evening and the waiter was so friendly and wonderful and really helped us out to get acquainted with the offerings we tried the vegetarian potstickers and also the various vegetarian tacos which were really good. Later we each had a vegetarian Ramen and every single one was delicious and I especially liked the one with the tofu and the hard-boiled egg and the spinach. They brought a small container of warm sake for me which I really liked with a tiny cup I got to choose. OverallI gave it a big 10+ and I would definitely eat there again and probably will go back pretty soon. The main thing is to try to find a time when the parking is not completely full in the area be prepared to park a ways away and walk which is good for us so it really wasn’t a problem.“

“Chin Cha noodle house and bubble tea is phenomenal I do not know how they don’t have a line out the door. The quality of their food is unbelievable fresh, authentic, and healthy. Their bubble tea is also some of the best I’ve ever had. Their tea is fresh and high quality. Their Matcha is also fantastic I’ve had so many matches at tea shops that have a fishy taste. This is such a quality spot for great food and fun. They have card games and jenga to play while you wait. We live in Vancouver, Wa. And will always stop in here when we are passing through. I haven’t had anything on their menu that isn’t done right. This place deserves to blow up!!!“

“We were visiting from out of state and went into the restaurant for lunch. Service was wonderful. I'm not sure if it was the owner that greeted us, but a much older gentleman definitely welcomed our big group and accommodated a round table to fit our group. We ordered plenty and the food came out fresh, hot and delicious. I had the intestine dried pot stir fry and it was tasty. I tried other dishes that were on my table as well and everything was on point! If I visit Portland again, I'll definitely stop by the restaurant for another round. Kudos to the older gentleman that kept checking in with our group and made sure we had everything we needed. Sir, thank you and keep up the great customer service you and your team are doing! “If you like it hot, you have to come and try the crispy spicy fish. If you don't like it hot, come with someone who does and have a bite of theirs! Also the pork wonton with spicy oil were excellent. Lunch portion was generous, although the hot & sour soup and spring roll were very pedestrian.

Update: June 2026. Fish and chili oil wonton were still very good, but didn't seem all that spicy (it's still tingling hot). Portion was decent but it wasn't too much for one person to have both a Lunch and an appetizer.“

Thai Tea was unusual, still not sure if I liked it or not. I definitely suggest heading here for a nice sit down, but they also do carryout, like a lot.“
