“What a great little gem! I love the ability to choose my ingredients and have someone else cook them! You can load up on as many veggies, meat and noodle combinations as you want. There are also a great many different sauces and oils to choose from. Shrimp, chicken, pork, beef and fish! Pick one, pick two, pick them all! The veggies were nicely sliced and fresh.
The restaurant was clean and comfortable and the staff were exceptionally kind. They were helpful, attentive and just plain old sweet! If I am ever in the area, I would certainly come back again!“

“Best (and maybe only) handpulled Chinese noodles in the Portland area. The taste is quite on point with the ones I came to love in Northern China.

The only problem is the close early sometimes and aren't open on weekends. If they were, we'd no doubt have gone countless more times.

The spice level is no joke. I like it spicy, but still feel the heat (wouldn't have it any other way).“

“We ordered monglian beef spicy regular noodles and non spicy kung pao chicken noodles. We also tried the pecking duck roll and crab rangoons and it was served HOT & FAST. The noodles and the rangoons were delicious. The pecking doll roll was very flavorful, however I didn’t expect the cucumber to be in the roll. I enjoyed the freshness to it. If we weren’t traveling from out of town, I’d visit again.“

“Visited during both Nacho Week and Burger Week, had an excellent time both visits despite it being very busy! The specialty week options were both delicious and really novel. “Food is of amazing quality and very tasty. I will say when someone tells you they want it spicy, make it spicy! I know it comes from trying to not upset the less than heat tolerant palette of many a portlander, but the food quality diminishes when a dish supposed to be spicy is served not hot at all. I got the papaya salad and there was not a single chili in it, despite requesting it to be spicy. Papaya salad is supposed to be a challenge to eat! There is so much flavor in the chilis. The salad was just sweet and sour, missing the entire point of a papaya salad. I can see making it without chili if your customer requests it not spicy, but please dont assume we cannot handle the heat especially when we specifically request it to be very hot“

“First time visit last night with six of us and they are very nicely opened up the toast restaurant and let us sit in there and we had such a nice evening and the waiter was so friendly and wonderful and really helped us out to get acquainted with the offerings we tried the vegetarian potstickers and also the various vegetarian tacos which were really good. Later we each had a vegetarian Ramen and every single one was delicious and I especially liked the one with the tofu and the hard-boiled egg and the spinach. They brought a small container of warm sake for me which I really liked with a tiny cup I got to choose. OverallI gave it a big 10+ and I would definitely eat there again and probably will go back pretty soon. The main thing is to try to find a time when the parking is not completely full in the area be prepared to park a ways away and walk which is good for us so it really wasn’t a problem.“

“Mum Thai has some of the best Asian food I've had! The chicken katsu curry is delicious, the sides can make a meal of themselves, and the owners are on top of the game. I've never had to wait more than 10-15 minutes(with a long line) and its always hot and fresh. This is a regular for my husband and I, you NEED to try it out!“

“Went there with a friend. Generally, the xia long bao were good, pork and the crab/pork, taro one was very tasty. But the black sesame one were way too sweet, way sweeter than at the branches in the rest of the world, so we had to return it. Sad, as those are one of my favorite. I can’t believe that the restaurant has to adjust sweetness level to that extend to make locals like it.

“We were visiting from out of state and went into the restaurant for lunch. Service was wonderful. I'm not sure if it was the owner that greeted us, but a much older gentleman definitely welcomed our big group and accommodated a round table to fit our group. We ordered plenty and the food came out fresh, hot and delicious. I had the intestine dried pot stir fry and it was tasty. I tried other dishes that were on my table as well and everything was on point! If I visit Portland again, I'll definitely stop by the restaurant for another round. Kudos to the older gentleman that kept checking in with our group and made sure we had everything we needed. Sir, thank you and keep up the great customer service you and your team are doing! “I was walking over to it after work and nearly missed it but I’m glad I didn’t. Now I can’t really comment on their Sichuan food as I didn’t order it but their Mongolian beef was really tender. It was in my opinion perfectly cooked and so were the onions it was cooked with. The sauce wasn’t too thick or thin, it was really well balanced with a subtle sweetness and the right amount of spice. The cucumber salad was super fresh and not mushy at all. Had I gone with a friend this would have been a really affordable although by yourself the lunch special is much cheaper. Still I had a lovely time and enjoyed the music they were playing. Staff was lovely, and I’ll be coming back.“
