“I am not typically a fan of chain restaurants but this one has converted me. I love their food and it is so easy to order takeout online. You can even opt to get a text message when your order is ready and it is pretty accurate. I love to order their cucumber salad, pork ribs, and spicy chicken noodles or the wontons with spicy sauce. Yum!“
“The food was fresh and delicious! I was impressed by all the options. There was more available than at other mongolian grills I've been too. My sister is gluten intolerant and was really excited about the rice noodles available here in addition to regular yakisoba noodles you usually see. I really appreciate that they are open between 2 and 5 which made it possible for us to eat here in the first place. Also the service was above and beyond. I asked for a Thai iced tea without sugar. They pre-make it with sugar in the morning so they didn't have any. After saying no worries several times they still went ahead and made a batch of unsweetened Thai iced tea for me to try and didn't even charge me for it! They checked back in with me several times, they were the sweetest!I will definitely come back here when I am in Tigard.Dietary restrictions: My sister is gluten intolerant, I eat low carb, and my mom doesn't have any restrictions. We were all able to eat here“
“Amazing food! Fresh, bright, clean, distinctive flavors. Had to try the Wasabi cream prawns. Really good, but rich, so dishes with good cut (acid, heat, picancy) to go back and forth with is recommended. Had exactly that with the beef and onion dish, which had assertive levels of white onion and/or ginger in some bites, and a nice moderate level of garlic and green onion. Also had the eggplant, which was quite nicely spicy, perfectly cooked, exactly what I was craving. This is far above the typical local Chinese restaurant, and for the same price. The only thing typical was the tea. It was fine, but I'd suggest they get better. Maybe trial a higher priced premium option. I'd pay more for tea that matches the level of their food.“
“One of my top 5 favorite place to eat in PDX. The sesame noodles are bright, fresh, and chewy. Served chilled and perfect for summer time. The pork is tender and perfectly seasoned.I have a difficult time finding food that's not too spicy (seems a current PDX trend). They balance it perfectly. I'd more or less given up on enjoying that mouth numbing delightfulness of the Sichuan peppercorn without being blasted with the heat of a million chilies. But they've found the sweet spot. Prices on par with other places in the area. Plus you can enjoy the food in their neighboring establishment, Holy Ghost.I highly recommend paring any noodle dish with the 5min Gin Fizz!“
“OMG, this place was amazing. We went at lunchtime on Presidents Day, so I thought it was a little odd that the lunch specials were not available. That was okay, because the food was so fantastic. Wife had the basil chicken which was one of the best Chinese dishes ever. I had the Lamb with Green Onion, which was good, but I'd try something else next time. I rarely see Lamb on a Chinese menu, so I had to try it. We split some green the green tea. The service was fast and friendly, as were some patrons. A couple guys walked by and asked about the b=Basil Chicken, so we told them it was a must! Huge open space that is unexpected given the outside of the historic Louis Building, built in 1885. We are going back!!“
“This place is such an amazing area. They have amazing service. Great food. And it's one of my favorite places to go I highly recommend it for anybody who likes teriyaki.Parking: Great parking near the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: The place was very kid friendly and very kind.Wheelchair accessibility: If you have a wheelchair, you most definitely can access this restaurant.“
“Not your average Thai restaurant, as the menu mostly features noodle soups… but wow, probably some of the best Thai food I’ve had. Both the pork bone-broth and the vegetarian house broth were very flavorful, and we’re both packed with hearty servings of pork/dumplings/egg/greens (meat version) or tofu/greens/egg (vegetarian version). Service was quick and kind.Perfect meal for a cold rainy day!“
“I love this place. I kept telling myself for years to go there every time I was at Uwajimaya, and never got around to it. Now I'm kicking myself for having not gone sooner. The service is awesome, the ramen is delicious and I can get in and out on time for my hour long lunch and have time to spare.Parking: Shares the parking lot with Uwajimaya.Kid-friendliness: They have booster seats and high chairs!Wheelchair accessibility: Has a ramp outside and they have tall and shorter tables for a variety of seating.“
“If you miss the tonkotsu shio at Santouka and are waiting for them to come to Oregon, don't wait. Go here. If you miss the tonkotsu from the Ichiran chain in Japan, go here. This place gets it. Long simmered broth. Perfectly firm noodle texture & length. Also, just really sincere atmosphere and staff. 100% will return.“
“So glad to have Pho 360 in our neighborhood! Friendly and fast service, nice atmosphere, and good food. Even when they got busy at lunch it wasn't loud in the room. We had the Pho Tofu and salad rolls. Just wished there was chili crisp available on the tables.“
“Finally. I finally found the best Thai food in the area!Nothing compares. 10/10 this place blows it out of the water. Pad See Ew is my go to and theirs is phenomenal. Khao-Soi-Neau will change your life. Salad rolls are INCREDIBLE. Thai iced tea is to die for. I'm never going anywhere else. Ever again. I can't wait to try their entire menu.“
“We finally decided to try this place since they recently opened to support local businesses and we are so glad we did! We did not try any of the Sushi but the noodle dishes and the beef brisket noodle soup were delicious and flavorful. Everything was very tasty and the portions were large. We will be ordering from here again for sure and we’ll try their Sushi too next time. Definitely worth a try if you are looking for tasty noodle dishes.“
“Stopped in for a quick lunch and I’m so glad I did! I got the Mongolian Beef Noodle plate and the portion was very generous, the noodles were amazing, beef was tender and the flavor was great. Their chili oil is a bonus I recommend for those who like extra spice and flavor.“
“Stretch the Noodle is located in the Midtown Beer Garden, which is a cute little oasis close in on the west side. I ordered the Chao Mian with tofu extra spicy. It is so yummy and the portion is extremely generous. Can’t wait to revisit and take people here!!! (the drink in the picture is from the bar cart located in the center of the garden)“
“Well dang it! Just when I thought I had my ramen hierarchy figured out! Now I have to completely rejigger the results of several years worth of research. Kayo's is amazing!!! I'm not normally a tofu fan, but the tofu in the cold noodle dish, Chili Garlic Noodles blew me away! And my dish of Snow Ramen just outta this world.“
“Made stop for lunch #2 today, and it was a repeat performance. Not only was it tasty, the portion was large for lunch, probably could have made two meals out of it. Service was great, attentive but not overbearing. We will have to try dinner sometime“
“I was surprised on this one. Just a little place for some Dimsum with flair . The menu is very limited. Service is also limited. You order on the board and you also pay there. Then they bring the food to your table. The use of modernism and minimalistic yet impersonal make this place unique. With very limited selections, the food was actually good. My favorites are Sesame noodles and meat folders.“
“Nom nom nom. Their seasonal salad is ALWAYS DELICIOUS. Throw some fried chicken or avocado on there? Gold. Steam buns are to die for. Try them all. But my faves are the miso mushroom and the fried chicken. Ramen is great, rice bowls are great. You really can’t go wrong. Atmosphere is fine but I usually get it to go. Cocktails are okay.“
“Second time being here and I gotta say it's amazing. Food is great, prices are decent and the servers are very nice. Only thing I can say if it's packed then seating may be a lil bit uncomfortable but not that bad. Overall great place to eat ramen. Highly recommend.“
“Just finished ished another meal here and it was great again. Food, service, and atmosphere is wonderful. Music playing in the background isn't too loud. Fish is really fresh and rice to fish ratio is on point. Love the staff, they are really attentive.“
“My first time in 50 years, and let me say, GREAT!! I went with a group of fine folks who recommended this place. Don't be swayed by the location, it's TOP quality food. We were sat very quickly. The inside ambiance is very quaint. Almost like a family kitchen. Extensive menu choices, including VEGETARIAN options. My food was quite simply delicious! And most importantly, PLENTY of food. Stop by, relax, give them your business and enjoy.“
“My favorite kung pao chicken meal in all of Portland. Egg Flour soup is also delicious! You get a TON of food too! Enough for multiple meals. The couple who works this food truck are really nice and kind. Very hard working too! Sometimes it takes awhile but it's all fresh to order. They also have lunch specials that are a fantastic option for lunchtime! I've been a few times and taken friends here when in town.“
“Crazy delicious food. Very reasonably priced. The atmosphere of the restaurant itself is upscale with a picturesque bar and friendly service. The food has satisfying portions and packs in a ton of flavor. The noodles of the pad sew ew in particular are bingeworthy with tender cuts of meat and fresh broccoli. My partner enjoys the spiciness of the yellow curry. Variety of dishes on the menu means ordering for groups is a breeze because everyone can find something to enjoy.“
“We were there twice recently, one on March 2 and the other March 22. The first time was quite satisfying. Even though this restaurant was a relatively new addition to the mall, the food and service were on par with other locations such as Seattle, Bellevue and La Jolla. However, our later visit, with a 2x larger table than the first visit, seemed to show a service issue. The staff placed the ordered dishes wherever they wanted, which, at other DTF, they would ask where to place the dish on the table by asking the customers first. This caused unnecessary dish-passing immediately after an order was delivered. There was ample walking space surrounding our table, i.e., we were not in the side booth or window/corner tables. Food was consistently fantastic as high standard held by DTF.Kid-friendliness: Nice kid set“
“I highly recommend the Xiao Long Bao; the rich soup and generous filling make it almost perfect. The dry-fried green beans have a rich flavor, and the hot and sour soup is delicious too. Their egg drop soup is a favorite among kids. We also ordered the assorted fried noodles, which had plenty of ingredients and a large portion size. However, some of the pan-fried dumplings(紅油抄手) were overcooked and the skin was too soft. The dry pot series is also highly recommended; we tried the dry pot intestine. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the food here. However, the service is just okay and could be better."“
“I want to shout from the rooftops how AMAZING their food is!! From the very first bite I knew I had found a new favorite restaurant. Their green pepper fish soup with rice noodles is out of this world. I give it 6 out of 5 stars. All the flavors were balanced 100% perfectly, and that’s saying a lot because I’m a veteran foodie with a picky palate who is quite discriminating about flavors. The chef here is a flavor ninja. Also, rarely do I rave about a restaurant enough to leave a review, that’s how impressed I am.By the way, I highly recommend getting the “crispy fried milk.” I ate an entire serving of it in one sitting yesterday, and I could have eaten two more, it was that delicious. It comes with a sweet, coconutty sauce that reminds me of the sweet yet slightly savory sauce used in sticky rice with mango that you find at Thai restaurants.Eat here, you won’t be disappointed!“
“A solid 3.6 Four months open now, it was the WW that had me cancelling Din Tai Feng and coming here instead. Husband and wife team at the helm-- was told by kind server that he is fluent in Vietnamese?!? What----- he must certainly have lived abroad. The space is exquisite-- best looking Viet joint I've ever been in-- the menu stationery and rice paper overlay so gorgeous-- Oblation worthy. The ca phe and the food---- so, so expensive for what you get! And I live in the Bay Area! The food and the cooking and the skulls are solid. But I m not sure they can sustain such a high high price point--- eapxaillyC they ain't in Nob Hill or Alberta--- is on SE Ash , with a paper supply store next door.... The environs cannot warrant the menu's prices. With items even as high as $65, and coffee drinks at $8-10, and pho from $20-24, my eyebrows are raised. But Hanoi style food I did try, and the menu has wonderful detailed explanations of the dishes. So cool Bathroom is outside and shared communally-- #02505! PS the pork belly was PERFECT.“
“We love Pho 39! We live nearby and it has become one of our regular go-to spots. For anyone who is vegetarian, the pho with tofu is excellent. Sometimes I will choose the Tofu Lemongrass Vermicelli which is also fabulous. If you eat in person the service is quick and the family that owns it is lovely.Kid-friendliness: They have 2 high chairs“
“Food has always tasted so fresh, incredibly kind and friendly staff and great atmosphere. This happens to be only a block away from me, so I was really hoping to enjoy it here just due to them being so close, and they have never disappointed!!! Even when I order carry out, so much care and love put into the food. I have never once had an issue with them getting my order wrong or incorrect.. which is so rare for me considering I have so many dietary restrictions - they have never failed to make sure everything is perfect and correct. Truly can not stress enough how much I love this place and the food. Amazing prices also!!!Dietary restrictions: They handle dietary restrictions very well and are happy to work with any restrictions you have!! (Speaking from experience)Parking: Neighborhood parking behind 23rd is free … while parking on 23rd is not, but very affordableKid-friendliness: They have always been happy to adjust any item on menu for “picky eaters” / children!!“
“I come here for lunch pretty often and I love this place. One time I had an issue with an order and they went above and beyond to fix it (I didn't even ask for anything, just pointed out my issue). Love this place. The Chicken Karaage is GREAT!!“
“A quaint little ramen shop. Got that hole in the wall vibe. The most incredible coconut miso ramen. Everything I've tried from their menu is first rate but that ramen is on a whole other level. 12 of 10. Try this ramen. Seriously one of the best things I've ever put in my mouth.“
“Delicious food, fast and attentive service! I ordered the dry-fried pork Intestine and it was melt in your mouth good! Lovely and crisp, fatty and buttery! Some of the best takeout I've had in a long time! The peppercorn flavor was a bit subdued but not in a bad way, it let the intestine meat speak for itself! The only tip I'd give is that I wish the venue played music or had more decorations on the walls, it was very bare bones and I felt like I was eating in an storage warehouse, that being said there is nothing to complain about when it comes to the food and the service! Lovely people serving up tasty traditionalmeals!“
“Nice atmosphere with good views of the river and fast service despite it being fairly busy. The soup dumplings were good, not the best I've ever had, but so far the best I've had in Portland. Oh, and the cucumber salad is the bomb!“
“Pho Van Fresh is located in a beautiful spot within NW Portland, enclosed by beautiful windows that let you lookout onto the passing people and streetcar. Pair this up with some absolutely amazing Pho and you got a staple restaurant you'll be coming back to anytime you're craving their food. My first time here was great, I have no complaints, and the beef pho I got was made perfectly! Great amount of noodles and meat made it a hearty meal, leaving me full and happy I finally got a dish here. Highly recommend!“
“Ordered take out from here and the food was so delicious. The matcha frappe was delicious with just the right amount of sweetness. The coconut shrimp was AMAZING, and the amount of pho you get for the price is so worth it. The owners were so friendly and kind. Will definitely be coming “
“They are very friendly and helpful on their menu. We went for the bubble tea and was recommended on the Taro bubble tea from the staff. It was so good! Too sweet but good for sharing with my kids hehe.It has now caused our family to fall in love with bubble tea as a treat. Will have to go back and try their food sometime.“
“This was our first time to try this restaurant and both dishes we ordered were wonderful! We had the Mussaman Curry and the Pad Ginger Stir-fry. The sauces were delicious and portions were good. Rice was included in the price. We'll be back!“
“This was a great meal! I had the yellow curry which was very good and others loved the pad Thai and green curry dishes. But I’m leaving a review for the nice service! I didn’t expect to be waited on at a place where you order and pay at the register but they cleaned the tables, brought us waters+drinks, meals, and went above and beyond after ordering and sitting down to make sure we had everything we needed for our party of 9 last Saturday afternoon“
“I've ordered from this restaurant a few times and I've never been disappointed. Today, I was one of those A-holes who accidentally ordered food 15 minutes before closing. Despite this, I was given impressively fresh and delicious food. I don't typically stray from my usual orders, but today I tried the Larb Avocado. It was unreal! Their curries and soups are also lovely.“
“This place offers a small menu with delicious ramen. We tried the tonkatsu ramen which is filled with meat and a medium poached egg. There's some black garlic oil to amp up the flavor. I still prefer soft/medium boiled egg for ramen as it's easier to eat. The overall flavor was good. Don't forget the crispy potstickers. The atmosphere is cozy and hip with living plants on the walls and Japanese fabric framed like art. A full bar is centered in the restaurant but we didn't have any drinks.“
“Ordered via Uber, as I was hungry. Xiao long bao pork and mongolian beef.To start off, xia long bao was terrible... very doughy, and tasteless. But then... the mongolian beef..This was good. Flavourfull, tender, bit too much onion, but I like it. Slightly spicy, gimme more!!! Definitely will try more from their menu.“
“I try to eat here at least 2x a month. I love the atmosphere when I go to pick up my order. I’ve only tried their Basil Fried rice as I’m one of those that stick to the same food. I would say their most spicy option is still pretty mellow so if you like your food spicy spicy let them know.Plates of people who dine in always look amazing, and they cater to big groups. Food is always fresh, tasty, and prepared quickly. This is my 2nd favorite place to get basil Fried rice. I’m very picky on this dish and they get 2nd place. Thank you Thai Noodle !!“
“I absolutely love this place. I'm visiting from out of town and stoppes in 20min before closing and the staff was welcoming and professional. Additionally, the food was amazing! Some of the best noodles I've ever had! Will definitely be in top of my list when I come back!“
“Absolutely loved the food. Digital menu, extremely fast service and delicious food. We ordered the combination fried rice and the spicy pork ribs flat noodle which was Absolutely amazing. The fried rice was good, however, it was not unique.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly with baby stool/chair“
“The food is always awesome! When we go here we don't hold back. We order whatever sounds good with no fear of leftovers. Everything is too delicious to wanna order just a couple things.Service is fine but it was confusing when we arrived, there was a line out the door and while I waited in a line to ask the host of there was a wait list for tables people just walked on past me and signed in even though we were already waiting. When I got the text our table was ready I waited in line again and when I reached the host station the person there did not want to make eye contact or speak with me. I waited patiently and then finally they asked what I wanted, I replied I got a text that our table was ready and they said the host would be along shortly.Table service was efficient, but maybe a little too fast at first, then slow when you're finishing. I was glad we got a small 2 person table. But then we ended up between 2 baby tables, and one baby launched 2 of the restaurants pens at us in-between screaming. T-TThank goodness for 2nd baby who was quiet and distracted the 1st baby from screaming for at least a little while. Both locations I've been to of Dough Zone suffer in the atmosphere dept. There is always quite the cacophony. The acoustics are rough. You can hardly hold a conversation. It was easier with just 2 people but when we had a group of 5 at either location, none of us could really hear one another. Made dinner awkward. We may consider ordering takeout or something from this restaurant in the future.“
“this place is great to me, the store was sparkly clean and as soon as I walked in I was greeted with friendly customer service from the cashier up front, who made me feel super welcome and comfortable. the atmosphere inside is comfortable with spaced out, comfortable seating and an atmosphere that wasn't overwhelming or any more than it needed to beas for the food, it's obviously not the best stuff you can find but for the price I thought it was really good, they serve super hearty and simple meals which is always nice to experience. i got the chow mein for 12 dollars and for that I got a container big enough to probably feed about 2 people or have leftovers. it was warm and fresh, the noodles were cooked perfectly, the chicken wasn't dry or anything, and they loaded it with my moneys worth of veggies and meat. paired with the chili sauce they give you on the side for free it was delicious, and I'll definitely be going back next time I want a well priced meal“
“I've been searching for a good thai place that reminded me of my hometown. There are a lot of good places for Thai, but Monsoon is by far my favorite and closest to that taste!Got a little bit of everything with some friends, and there wasn't anything that i tried that I wouldn't recommend!“
“(4.5/5) Frank’s has been my go-to for awhile for takeout and just getting around to reviewing them.I never call ahead because the food comes out quickly. The fried rice isn’t anything crazy but that’s why I like it so much. It’s great, consistent and usually is enough for 2 meals. The hand pulled noodles are fantastic. They are thick and always cooked super well.Vegetarian options: Not a crazy amount of vegetarian dishes but few choices are all solid“
“Went there on Sunday to eat soup. I've always ordered dessert and salad rolls to go. It was cold and rainy and felt like I'd like to go try them dining in. The waitress was super nice. I wanted something with shrimp. She recommended the Tom yum shrimp soup. It was so delicious I want to go back Wednesday with my husband for a date night. He is super picky and she took the time to go over some menue items and recommended the beef one for him. I can't wait to go back.Vegetarian options: I love veggie salad rolls their's are good“
“I stopped by this place for lunch to order a binh ma sandwich to go. There were a few people eating Pho in the small restaurant area. I sat down to wait, and a customer had a hot plate of egg rolls delivered to his table. They looked so good, I ordered those too! After a short wait, my sandwich arrived. Fresh baked baguette with delicious meats. I got the #1 Vina Baquette Special. The staff are very nice and friendly. I was greeted after walking in. The restaurant/cafe is clean and small, seats 18 people, amongst the tables and chairs. It's been a while since I have been here, but I will be back! I need to try the Pho. Thank you, Vina Deli & Baguette!“
