I loved the pork soup dumplings and Jason was an excellent server!
Whoa. Absolutely delicious. We got the pork soup dumplings, eggplant and string beans, and cumin beef. Every dish was generously portioned and satisfying, particularly the beef which was beyond tender. Service was quick and friendly (thanks Jason). Definitely saving this spot.
Jason is amazing, never let him go.

Based on the reviews, Xin Ding Dumpling House 鑫鼎轩 - Downtown Portland is one of the best dumpling houses. The food comes out quick and is delicious. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Specific meals mentioned include the chicken chow mein, pork & veggie soup dumplings, sesame chicken, Mandarin Chicken, shrimp fried rice, shrimp dumplings, Chicken and Vegetable potstickers, Pork Fried Rice, Soup Dumplings, and Mongolian Beef. The potstickers are done traditionally, fried in the bottom of the pan and steamed on top. The food is authentic, transporting diners back to China. The portion sizes are huge, the drinks are delicious, and the flavors are better than Din Tai Fung. The service is excellent, attentive, and the staff genuinely cares about making the experience enjoyable. The atmosphere is clean, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxing meal.
