Super fresh, authentic, and delicious food with lots of options. I've been to most of the Thai restaurants in the city, and this is my favorite. They also have lunch specials. The owners are lovely people.

Looking for spicy food in Portland can feel like I am in England. The spice levels here are pretty tame and finding places that make spicy food can be hard to come by. Khao Thai makes a yellow curry, that if ordered extra spicy will have you feeling it the next day. Its great, the people are great, and the location is just far off the main hit of Hawthorne that its not too crowded.
