“Don't sit on this place! This is the most adorable family and their food is absolutely amazing! I have never had chicken with such a crunchy consistent crust and flavor in my life. Highly recommend the Prime Sweet and Spicy, The cream sauce that comes with it takes it to another level. Congratulations on the second location in Hillsboro. I’ve been going to the Portland location for the past three years, and it’s always been one of my favorites. Family-owned, consistently good, and the owner has always been incredibly kind and welcoming.

It’s exciting to see the expansion, and you can tell there’s a lot of heart behind this business. The food continues to deliver with rich, flavorful broth and quality ingredients that keep me coming back.

“What a great place for boba drinks. It is located in a newly developed area. All drinks appear to come with many slices of lime wedges. If you are a lime lover, this place is for you.

We had a custom drink with Thai green tea, lychee flavor and jellies. The other drink was from a pre-made menu. Both drinks are quite sweet but they were just right if you let the ice melt a little.“

“My partner and I have been meaning to try this place out for a while. We finally made it down yesterday (1/30/26), and it was EXCELLENT. I got the staff recommended drink (chocolate rose milk tea with strawberry popping boba); it was so good! I didn't hear what my partner ordered because I was reading the wall of community-written thank you notes, but his was a blended tropical something with jelly additions. That was super good too. Like, really super good. The staff were extremely sweet and I enjoyed our brief conversation (thank you for complimenting my coat! I wanted to compliment your makeup but I got flustered). 10/10“

“Cute little Asian bakery. We were there at about 3:50pm on a Sunday, and the shelves were basically empty. Must be popular to be sold out 2 hours before closing. We did end up getting a sesame moon cake, apple pie (turnover), and bbq pork steamed bun. The pork bun was hot and delicious, and tasted fresh.

“We come to Boba Cat Tea House pretty often since it’s close to where we live, and it’s become one of our go-to spots for boba.

I usually get matcha, which has really good flavor. Last time I tried it with strawberry compote added, and it was super yummy. My partner usually gets tea with lychee and really enjoys it as well. When we get boba, the pearls are consistently just right. Soft, chewy, and flavorful. The brown sugar milk tea is especially delicious.

I typically order 50% sweetness, which is perfect for me, while my partner prefers 100%, and both options work well depending on taste.

The shop itself is very cute inside and a great place to hang out, though we often grab and go since it’s so convenient for us.

While their menu might be a little less familiar to folks used to drinking Boba, I highly encourage getting a sample and trying something new. I love the soymilk slushy with boba or jelly. Their boba is always fresh, and If you’ve never had fresh soy milk, you are missing out. It’s nothing like what you get at the supermarket. Their puddings are amazing. The pandan custard with coconut cream is 10/10. Adorable ambience and always friendly service!“

“I love this place! They also have another location in Beaverton that I enjoy, but this one feels more spacious and has a cuter vibe. The shop is comfortable, inviting, and a great spot to grab a drink.
I still have so many drinks on the menu to try, but I always end up ordering my favorite the strawberry matcha with brown sugar boba. It's delicious every time. I also love that you can customize the sweetness level to your preference or just leave it at the standard setting.

“Great matcha in a cute neighborhood in SE Portland. Alternative milks available for those with dairy issues. We went specifically for the Peanuts collaboration. For those who can have hazelnuts, it was great! However 3 of us couldn't due to allergies, so we didn't get the specialty cups, etc because we couldn't order off that menu. Madagascar vanilla lattes have great flavor, and the kids love the matcha ice creams.“

I have some allergies with MSG, so here in BEP there is no MSG in the food. My experience there was really good. I’ve tried matcha lattes at various spots around Portland and no one makes them as good as Olia Poke! Their matcha is not too sweet and the bright, fresh green flavor of the tea is the star. So many places the matcha flavor is absent (green milk) or it’s way too sweet. Olia strikes that balance perfectly. Love the staff too, they are so friendly!“

Since we discovered Fengying's kitchen every time we drive through Garibaldi we stop by this food cart. “So, I went to this chocolate café called Anna’s Chocolate Café and Bubble Tea. It’s a small shop inside a larger building. When you walk in, it’s right by the escalator. The chocolates looked a bit odd, not very appetizing. They were selling them for $3 to $4 each. I ended up buying two of them, just because I felt awkward leaving after saying hi to the person working there. They tasted just like regular chocolates you buy at the store, which I wasn’t impressed with. But if you’re interested, check it out.“
