This was my first time at Honey Spicy. The reviews looked promising. To start off with the chicken was delicious. 10/5 stars. Perfectly cooked and the honey sauce was delicious. I had the Crispy Honey Butter Chicken Bowl. Now the sides are where it got interesting. The purple rice was bland, even for rice. Tossing it with some of the sauce helped a little. I only write reviews when needed. This food is absolutely outstanding. I had ordered the lemon chicken, garlic wings, potstickers, and the jalapeño chicken. The flavors are wow.. chefs kiss ; the food was freshly made not reheated. I was hesitant on the purple rice because I’ve never seen that, but it was delicious. Chicken was cooked to perfection with a slight crunch. 10/10 recommend. The restaurant was clean, the cashier was very friendly. I will definitely go back!

What a nice hidden gem! We tried their spicy and soy garlic flavored Korean fried chicken and both were delicious and crispy. Portions were generous, and the rice, potato salad, and pickled radish that came with the bowl were a nice accompaniment. Spend the extra $1.50 for a side of kimchi. It is yummy!
