“The unique big reds were just the change we needed here in Pinot Noir country. The service was just right. They knew exactly when to check in on us, they were available to talk wine, talk details, but were also very observant of letting us have a conversation without interrupting.“
“What a great little gem on uptown Main Street! I have yet to eat dinner there, but have dined in and taken out lunch, typically a sandwich, on many occasions. They have thoughtful twists on classics, like a house-made corned beef sandwich with horseradish sauce and hot, red peppers. The corned beef was excellent, thin sliced and they don’t skimp. They make their own potato chips too! Prices are very reasonable, service is always good and their deli, selection of ready made foods, salamis, cheeses and salads is excellent. Their wine selection is quite extensive and great for such a small shop. I have even been helped by the owner! Shops like these lend character and a true neighborhood charm. I noticed a Chipotle going in downtown across from New Seasons and I hate seeing chain restaurants and stores taking root. I suppose someone has to provide for all the new apartment dwellers taking over. In the mean time, support a quality local business, like La Botega!“
“In all fairness, the owner is a relative of mine. Still this was our first visit to her wine bar and our first impression was of a very comfortable relaxed atmosphere with quality food and service. Given that she's owned the business going on thirteen years, I would say that Niche definitely deserves a visit if you have never been. It would be a great place to take out of town guests.Because of our unique circumstances, there are many details I find it difficult to speak towards. Therefore I would recommend you reviewing their website and/or calling with your specific questions or concerns.“
“We went in for the first time last night for a birthday celebration. The place is BEAUTIFUL! Great wine list and apps were so good. Stacey and all her staff were accommodating, welcomed us with smiles and more than helpful. Such a great addition to Felida!“
“Great tasting room! You are able to sample wines from two wineries in this one location. The tasting room and restrooms are clean. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The wine is great and reasonably priced and they also have light snacks for purchase.“
“Recommend with hesitation. We have been regular customers since they opened, and love their food. In for dinner on Wed 9/6, and we both ordered pizza because if one person orders pizza and the other orders pasta, pizza comes first and then pasta order 10-15 minutes later. My wife wanted pasta but we decided to both order pizza - took 45 frick'n minutes and then they screwed up my wife's pizza because the waitress wrote down the order incorrectly ; when it finally arrived crust was underdone. Based on comments we overheard tonight, ours was not the only boo-boo tonight. Recommendation: don't go in right after they have been closed for a holiday weekend, and be aware of different timing for pasta and pizza“
“It's nice to see downtown Vancouver WA opening up chic restaurants. The price range for the main entrées was about $50-$80... Little bit too pricey for the Vancouver market in my opinion. But if you mix and matched the extras and what is called "Yakimori" then it was definitely worth it. I was with two others and we ordered the extras and the yakimori and had six different dishes that we shared! We were full. I would definitely recommend this and their drinks are pretty good too.“
“Latte Da is fabulous! Besides their wonderful coffee, tea, and food, they do so much to support the local community by hosting events that support schools and other groups. I just left a 3 hour open mic that was a Junior Project of a VSAA student! Fabulous!!“
“Spring rolls so perfectly done... Pad kee mao perfectly done! Chicken Yellow curry soo yummy... Best Thai food we've had in the 20 cities in which we've enjoyed it. Peanut sauce had a little curry flavor to it but you made it nice. Good portions and the surface is amazing they are very friendly and fun to interact with there. So second time was even better than the first. Interesting cocktails and drinks and local beers and ciders. We never thought that a place called Ginger Pop would be so good!“
“This is the best taphouse in Vancouver. Josh is the best. He's always paying close attention to his customers. He's got a good selection of beers, and he's always got at least one barrel-aged option on tap #18 (thanks Josh). But be prepared to pay. #18 is never cheap. The atmosphere is warm, clean, and inviting. There are a couple TVs and the music playing in the background is always on point. My favorite place. Check it out!Kid-friendliness: 21 and over.“
