“This new margarita factory has some stunning features. The staff were kind and courteous. The night we ate was extremely busy so our food was a little slow at getting out which was not really a big big deal. The food was average for this type of restaurant. The drinks were exceptional. I would definitely go back!“

“What a delightful surprise. I wanted to try a new Portland restaurant during my stay and I picked Arden. I dined solo and had outstanding service. Since I couldn't decide, I selected the multi course prix fix option. Each dish was superb. I never knew zucchini could be prepared in a way that you literally were savoring each bite. Each dish was unique and exploded with flavor. Special attention was made by the chef to compliment the dish on the plate and the dish that was coming up next. The first plate served looked like ordinary olives, Marconi almonds with bread and butter but nothing about it was ordinary. I am still dreaming about the smoked olives and the gorgeously spiced olives. I happen to love butter and Arden doesn't just serve butter with the baguette. They serve house made cultured butter with salt flakes on top. The food and service was amazing. This is not to be missed. I will be back at my next visit!“

“What a great place for a little treat! We stopped here after dinner and it was the perfect end to our night. Great menu (we all got Sundaes, which are quite large). Service was great. There was a bit of a line but it moved pretty quickly. Indoor and outdoor seating options. They also have cheese boards and sandwiches, but we were just in the market for a sweet treat. Oh and they have chocolate cowboy hats to put on top of sundaes or soft serve which are truly just the best.“

“We’ve come here a number of times since it opened and every experience has been a wonderful one. This is legit my favorite go to date night. I just ask for a red wine recommendation and every time get a great bottle of usually European red. The hummus and lamb, and the mussels are our favorites. But the charcuterie and cheeses also. The proprietor is attentive and caring. I hope I get to visit for years.“
“I would go here everyday if I lived in Portland. Lower level entry, with their patio venue upstairs. Intimate space, low lighting, music playing, good wine, and grilled cheese, yes grilled cheese!
I recommend reservations but they do take walk-ins. They have a communal table that seats 5. There is another table of 4, some bar seating, and this elevated section in the wall with a small couch. You have to hop up and it was taken when we arrived but I suspect id have trouble getting up there at only 5'1.
The bartenders are nice, know their wine, and will pick something off menu for you. I was expecting more Oregon wine on the menu but I love French wine so no problem.“

“We had a great experience, really enjoyed the wine selections, and the service was top notch.
I do not have any experience running a wine bar or know what the realities are of running one as a business, but I do hope that they put more care into the charcuterie and cheese selections, which are very important and I feel were relatively uninspired compared to the excellent wine selections and service that were offered to us.“

“somebody told me that this place had the best charcuterie board so obviously i had to immediately order one; (for take out because i was at work) and even though it was take out it was still presented beautifully and had such a great variety of things i haven’t seen from other places! my coworker and i immediately ate the entire thing. it was incredible, and i might make this a weekly habit. thank you syndicate!“

“This is a lovely place to sample different wines. We sampled six kinds of Pinot Noir. The employee working the bar was very knowledgeable and shared some great information with us. This is a great little place in the heart of downtown Portland.“

“A fellow wine industry friend recommended Heavenly Creatures to us during our visit to Portland and we couldn’t be more pleased. The vibes were chill, romantic, and cozy. The staff was friendly and knowledgable about the wines, and the service was quick but not rushed. We got the yellowtail toast and the camembert with potato chips. I preferred the camembert - the creaminess and slight sweetness of the cheese paired perfectly with the crunch and saltiness of the chip - while my boyfriend preferred the toast. We paired our bites with an Oregonian Gamay and a French Syrah. Delicious, and can’t wait to come back!“

“My good friend Renee and I had an enchanted evening at Domaine Serene where we had the pleasure of trying their ambitious new menu which is now available to the public. The new menu has been crafted in collaboration with iconic, local Executive Chef George Morris, of Bos Taurus and Nomé notoriety, and features creative wine-inspired cuisine with a French bistro flair, and notable Pacific Northwest ingredients. We had been eagerly anticipating the new menu launch event, and it was a memorable and magical experience with every course. Our multi-course dinner was exceptional, and the world class wine pairings were curated with thoughtfulness. Some of our favorite dishes included: Amuse-Bouche // Shigoku Oysters on The Half Shell w/ Blood Orange ‘R’ Rosé Granita, & Yuzu Kosho. Beef Short Rib Bourguignon // Creamy Polenta, Root Vegetables, w/ a Red Wine Jus. For me, the culinary star of the show, and probably one of the best dishes I’ve ever had: The Steamed Foie Gras Wontons A rich, delectable creation framed with a Smoke-Forward Shoyu, and Aromatic; Miyagi Chili Oil, Hints of Mint From the Shiso, and the citrus notes from the lime accentuated the strengths of the dish with a delicate balance. With their exciting new menu, and added team members, now is a great time to go experience the serendipity of Domaine Serene for yourself.“

“My fiancé and I hosted our wedding proposal at Enso Winery and we couldn't be happier. Ryan was extremely accommodating and organized during the planning process and helpful on the day of the event. Between the venue, wine, and charcuterie, all of our guests left impressed and happy. Definitely won't be a stranger to Enso!“
“There is a nice selection of tasty wines that will not break the bank, and the wine club is off the hook! The tasting room is bright and welcoming, as is the tasting room team. It’s worth the trip any Friday, Saturday or Sunday.“
“So this one time, I was on a road trip. I stopped in at a casino, and I put $20 in the slot machine. After a few spins, I was feeling lucky, and I hit “max bet”.Turns out it was perfect timing because I hit the bonus on the next spin. I ended up walking out with $180.Fast forward to when I was heading home on the same trip- I stopped for gas, and decided to spend $2 on a scratch off. I ended up winning $20.I took a chance on something small, but with mighty potential, and it paid off. Twice. That’s what kind of place this is. Stop by, take a chance, and see what happens. The wine is excellent, and the staff is so incredible that they are now friends of mine.If you’re looking for a new spot to try, this is it.“

“The burger was tasty but the bun wasn’t toasted so it got kinda mushy, but the buffalo cauliflower and the Parmesan fries were both AMAZING and more than made up for it. The wine selection was diverse and affordable and the atmosphere was lively without being too loud. Will definitely be coming back!“

“First of all, our server was A+. I missed her name unfortunately. The food was fresh, not too heavy, and tasty, with a good variety of both vegetarian and meat options and just the right portions for the price, given the setting and costs nowadays. Overall happy to eat here, and would love to come back with family and friends. The fun part was you can see the kitchen, so we saw them roll our flatbread fresh just for us.:)“

“Honestly was the best steak house I’ve been to… I liked how the waiter explained the whole process to the table, gave great recommendations & the chef gave us a free soup sample. All the food was 5/5 stars. Best steak & pork chop hands down.“
“Great spot to taste some wine and learn about local wines. The server was direct, honest and knew her stuff. We learned a lot about Oregon wines. The place is older, has some character for sure. On arrival the staff seemed a bit harsh, but warmed up and its just how she is, which is honest and knowledgeable and no BS. We were out of towners, but some locals came in and we all had a good time.“

“Wow! The Russian meals my Poppa used to make for me could not have prepared me for the symphony of flavors at Kachka! Our server was beyond helpful with explaining dishes and how they should be served and layered for the best experience. The Heirloom Tomato Salat was so amazing, and I could eat the dumplings all day every day. The Golubtsi was our favorite main, and I was sad not to have more leftovers. What an experience, we will be back!“

“I felt so welcomed and graciously attended from the beginning to the end of my experience at Feral. Myself and my 3 sisters loved everything we got, which was most of the menu. We stayed a long time to talk and digest and felt no pressure to leave the table even though it was Friday night and the place was filled. Feral is the expert mix of relaxed and class. The food is dynamic and delicious always. I especially appreciate the genuine good humans who work so hard to make it happen. Thank you!
Dietary restrictions: All vegan food, gf options.
Parking: Plenty of parking around in the neighborhood.“

“I recently went to PDX Pasture, and the experience was okay. The person taking our order seemed visibly annoyed that we were there, showing little patience as we tried to decide what to order. When the food arrived, the server dropped it on the table without a word, showing no emotion or effort to inform us which sandwich was which. The lack of basic courtesy and communication made the meal far less enjoyable.
Although the customer service wasn’t super welcoming, the food was amazing. The quality of the sandwich was amazing. I got the toro sandwich which paired very nicely with the habanero lime sauce they had.
The space was a bit cramped. The tables and chairs just were a bit too close to each other. There is no outdoor seating available.
You have to scan a QR code on the wall to see the menu, or wait til you get to the register to see the menu.
If you are a wine person, they have a nice selection of wine there.“

“I had a mixed experience at Boxwood Cafe. The food was delicious and the service was attentive, but I felt the prices were a bit high. What I ordered was cooked perfectly and had a great flavor. The server was very friendly and helpful, and she made sure that our drinks were always full. However, I felt that the prices were a bit steep. Overall, I had a good experience, but I would have liked the prices to be a bit lower.“

“we went for happy hour and the deals were really awesome and the weather was nice in the patio. the drinks were great, however the food menu was misleading. we ordered the chile baby burger which was decent but the chicken “torta” which was just a chicken sandwich. if they just called it a sandwich then it would’ve been great but calling it a torta and putting it on a typical burger bun was a bit unacceptable. the dishes tasted good, i would just take the menu item names with a grain of salt. overall, i did enjoy my time here and would come back.“
