“I just had a really delicious bowl of (Boston style) clam chowder at Three Mermaids Public House in Tigard. It was so creamy, and comforting; and the small bits of bacon gave it over-the-top goodness. Honestly, all the food at this welcoming pub is worth trying, but I hadn’t expected to enjoy a bowl of soup as much as I did this one!“

“We went for a birthday celebration for my Daughter and GrandDaughter. We did make reservations to get a larger table ready for 12. The atmosphere is upscale and tasteful. Comfortable booths or tables and outside dining are available. I ordered vegan tacos - sautéed onions, peppers, mushrooms, pico, and avocado on soft corn tortillas served with black beans and rice. Delicious and beautifully plated. Their house made flan is creamy, caramel deliciousness and is the best I've had. The fresh squeezed margaritas were made with top shelf tequila. Edwin, the server, was very friendly and attentive. He earned his 30% tip! The prices are just what is expected for food of this quality and the quantity of food makes it worth every penny. And, bonus - the birthday girls wore giant sombreros while they were serenaded with the birthday song and awarded deep fried ice cream! I have eaten at Margarita Factory Hazel Dell before and will go back again and again.“

We had a very romantic albeit cozy dinner before a movie next door. We were lucky to score a table on a Saturday evening and have the most fun server! The special was super unique, featuring grilled peaches & prosciutto. We omitted the meat for my vegetarian husband, but next time, I’d recommend any vegetarian sub it for something salty to balance the sweetness.“

“Twice now I’ve eaten at Ox. I came back for the Clam Chowder with Smoked Bone Marrow as it left such a lasting impression. This time, we tried the Skirt Steak with the Radicchio & Romaine Salad. “Warning! Feral's delicious food may convert you to veganism. My husband and I are not vegan, or even vegetarian, but we have dined at Feral three times in the past couple of months. We used to walk right past, not realizing that plant-based cuisine could truly be as or more flavorful and satisfying than dishes using animal products. I also like that they change up their menu, which will encourage us to keep coming back to see what they are up to. The folks in the kitchen really know what they are doing; I wish they would publish a cookbook! Some outstanding dishes we have tried: focaccia with tomatoes (best we have had) summer squash fettucini, cavatelli with eggplant, little gem salad, cucumber tostada, and a ravioli type dish with a yummy French green sauce. The cocktails and service are also great. I highly recommend Feral to all hungry diners, vegan or not.“

“The food is always good. They had an octoberfest special. (Small plate and large plate). Had the small plate with the octoberfest sausage and it was awesome. A warning they do automatically charge the gratuity so make sure if you tip you know it is on top of the gratuity they already put on the bill.“

Our server, a dude from Spokane, was one of the best waiters I’ve had in Portland. Actual menus, great suggestions on what to try, full water glasses, and genuinely friendly service.

For those in the restaurant industry reading this: I’m no longer tipping for “non-service” establishments. I’d rather spend my tips on people who actually provide service like this. Zero percent for bunk service and 30% for everything else.“

“Stopped by Bar Diane on a Sunday and absolutely loved it. We had the $2 oyster special, which were fresh and delicious, along with some tinned fish that paired perfectly with our sparkling wine. Sundays are a great deal here with 20% off sparkling wines, making it even better. Cozy vibe, great bites, and excellent value — definitely a spot worth checking out.“

Not a single person was around, which was kind of relaxing, I guess. There's a piano there, but no one was playing it. Maybe it turns into a nice bar or something later at night.“

I'm not super knowledgeable on the different types and flavor profiles, and he helped me choose some really nice wines. The overall vibe was very unpretentious and comfortable, and the conversation with Stefan was interesting. The Willamette Valley 2024 Pinot Noir was my favorite as someone that prefers red wines, but I was really surprised how much I ended up liking the white pinot noir. Definitely worth a visit!“

“I popped in here for the first time several months ago for lunch and a glass of wine, and ended up having what could arguably be one of the best Italian cold cut sandwiches I’ve had in my life. Seriously, I wake up dreaming about that sandwich sometimes it’s so good. The pepper spread pulls it all together. My partner really enjoys the Cascadia Dip.

When it comes to their wine and beer selections, there is a lot to choose from. It’s a great place to take friends or family because there is something to suit everyone’s tastes. The service has been friendly every time, and the atmosphere is great. I feel like they did a great job maximizing their space without crowding tables so close together you’re bumping elbows with strangers. Amazing spot to try out if you’re in the area!“

It is a beautiful space and recently enjoyed the covered patio with 2 other moms with our young babies in their strollers and felt very comfortable and relaxed. I really enjoyed the Stoller 2022 Pinot Noir and my friend had the Chehalem Valley Chardonnay. They have a refreshing cocktail menu and I liked the Lavender Lemon Drop. The pork belly BLT was delicious!!! My favorite sandwich right now. They have a veggie sandwich as well that is loaded. Everyone in the group loved the cookies. I highly recommend this spot and looking forward to checking out some of their other event nights.“
