“GET THE FRENCH TOAST!!! We had a great burger here last night and they server said to come back for breakfast because the French toast is phenomenal. We aren’t usually French toast people but we ordered it anyway. WOW! I am now French toast people. The service is always good and fast. Such a great spot. Highly recommend.“

“We did Westward's tour and tasting and had a nice time! The tour was a bit shorter than I'm used to, but the tasting setup was well done and I appreciated the mini welcome cocktail. Honestly, I didn't love all the pours we tried, but I appreciated the variety and the service we received during our visit.“

“As a native Texan this is some of the best brisket I’ve had in Portland. The quality of the meat, tenderness of the brisket and smoked flavor reminded me of the many mom and pop shops I would frequent growing up in south Texas. The pork ribs were also super tasty. I’ll definitely be coming back and would recommend this spot for anyone looking to try some Texas BBQ in Portland.“

“Great atmosphere, with multiple indoor and outdoor spaces. Food from adjacent Bbang (Korean sandwiches - had a delicious fried chicken sand with with tots and cucumber salad...all great except tots and tad salty but that's expected) and Pan con Queso (Mexican themed pizza, didn't try but people were enjoying it). Nice curated tap list, excellent cocktails and even ranch water (taller tequila based drinks) which was great. Drink service can require some patience when crowded.“

“Hostess was unorganized and slow but once we were seated, our server was quick, witty, and on the ball. Food was decent - we shared the dates, the flatbread and each of us had a burger. I would consider another visit. Easy access since we were staying in the hotel.“

“I was staying here and so I ordered a meal to go, since they don't provide room service. I had the brisket sandwich, it was ok, not a lot of flavor and certain bites were a little tough but overall it was decent. Fries were crisp and plentiful, but perhaps a bit too much salt seasoning on them.“

“I had never been to Portland! My trip ended with a visit to the Loyal Legion. Lori was my beertender and she was WONDERFUL!! We laughed and she buzzed around taking care of everyone. I also met my future ex-husband Brandon who also works there (inside joke) - everyone there was kind and helpful. Great beer too! Looking forward to going back next time I am in the area“
