“Great top/mid shelf liquor selection (I had Angels Envy with a beer back. Service was on-point. Clean tables, good food, pool tables, and several TV's for watching your game(s). We've been back a few times now. The burgers are tasty!Parking: Right off of 99. Easy peasy.“
“Stopped here for a bite with my cute date while visiting the waterfront. The food was SO good! I had the whimsical PB&J cheeseburger (in a lettuce wrap) with parmesan garlic fries. Strangely, the PB&J really worked with the bacon cheeseburger! The meat was well-seasoned, the bacon was generously cut, and the pb&j were of good quality. The fries were crisp on the outside, yummy mashed potato on the inside, and the parm garlic crust was just fantastic. I also had an Irish Goodbye cocktail to go with. Excellent burger joint!Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free buns available!“
“Can I just say that the management staff at this place are the absolute best people, the entire staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The food is amazing, and the atmosphere is so unique.Parking: You valet with the Hyatt next store at no cost to you.“
“I’ve been living in the Pacific Northwest for over 7 years (in Seattle) and have traveled all over Washington and Oregon. I’ve eaten at countless restaurants ranging in price, style, type of cuisine, etc. This is hands down the best dinner I’ve had in all those 7 years! Each dish is meticulously hand crafted by the chefs (highly recommend sitting at the chefs bar/station)! The flavors are complex, layered, and unique. My husband and I shared the arancini, beet salad, scallop crudo and the soft shell crab sandwich. Every single dish was phenomenal! The craft cocktails were equally as enjoyable with a range of flavors and waves of flavor profiles that came through with every sip. Absolutely incredible, we will be back every time we visit Portland!Highly recommend planning your visit here and making a reservation. We did not make a reservation and waited 90 mins to be seated… although I’d do it all over again to eat that meal!“
“The whiskey that Westward makes is some of my favorite. The collaboration with 2 Towns was fantastic event and I really enjoyed the visit and talk by the heads of both organizations!Kid-friendliness: Not so much, cause it’s a distillery ?“
“Great service and a good mix of clientele. Pay attention to their awesome specials on the board, both food and drink. The patio is roomy and there's usually a place inside to sit if you want to play shuffleboard. Pick up some swag to remind yourself too return.“
“After a bizarre experience at Horse Brass, my companion and I were thrilled to stumbled onto this place. The gentleman behind the bar was so cool and we enjoyed everything including the steak on polenta. Also my Mezcal margarita was perfectly made.“
“This bar is amazing! Staff are friendly and quick with service! Atmosphere is very relaxed even when they are extremely busy. They have indoor and outdoor seating (a small fire outside)! I recommend checking Holy Ghost out if you have never been. The food options are Electric Pizza, 28 tigers, and Doyaji (on the weekends for late night grub)! Sid, Sky, Paxton, and Colin are dope bartenders and the drinks they make are amazing! Come check out Holy Ghost!!!! :)“
“We came here after a kid’s birthday party in the neighborhood. The food was delicious and made to order, and the kitchen was really accommodating with our 3 5 year olds, making modifications to the menu to make things kid friendly. I’m gluten free and they also very easily accommodated me. We didn’t have any drinks but the bar menu looked awesome. This is a great little gem!!!“
“Good place, little pricy, but the great regulars and bartenders make up for that, a true neighborhood spot for a neighborhood that needs one to be there, no gimmicks, no side show, just a good neighborhood bar. Haven't tried the food yet, but I will.“
“A good open space to go enjoy a drink on a nice day or a rainy day as they have an indoor common area to sit in and also outside area. The selection of bourbon here is great, and there's a bit of something for everyone. I enjoyed the typical old fashioned while munching on snacks from the food in the surrounding area.“
“I don't think it is possible to create a more Portland vibe bar than the Loyal Legion. A mix of an old world beer hall and a modern neighborhood pub, the Loyal Legion is a great spot for a happy hour get together with coworkers or a relaxed evening nosh with family and friends. The selection of beers is - well, mind blowing. I think they may have the finest selection of draft beers in the city. Not a beer drinker? Never fear, they offer cocktails, ciders and a number of other adult beverages. The staff are all Portland super cool and very friendly and helpful. Ask for a beer recommendation and you are most assuredly going to get a great cerveza. The food selection is also geared toward easy, relaxed bar eats. Good burgers, fries, and tater tots. Add an order of sweet potato fries and you can even convince yourself you're eating healthy. They have a fried cauliflower appetizer that makes even the dreaded white vegetable edible.“
“Came here for Sandwich week, never would have found this place without it, and it did not disappoint. The sandwich was exactly as advertised, it was a good size, the pork was delicious, the bun was really flavorful and the whole sandwich had a great texture and flavor. The portion size was very fair, and I felt like it was a good deal for $8. The service was great, I got there about 40 mins before close, and the bartender happily took my order and was very friendly. My only gripe would be the parking, maybe someone more familiar with the area would have known a better spot, but I struggled to find something. I didn't know if the garage was for customers or just people staying, so I didn't bother trying, and because of that, I'm not knocking a star off since it could have been my error. I'll definitely be back to try something else.“
“Fantastic food, limited vegetarian options but the dish I ordered, Aquacates Tacos were just amazing. The combination of all the different spices creates a flavorful taco treat. My son ordered the Carlita's Skillet and just enjoyed the flavors.Great spot for a beer and some food.“
“We got a mini cocktail flight each and we absolutely loved the experience! It was a great way to relax before our flight. The bartender was super nice and explained everything. The drinks were high quality and they also had a great shop for souvenirs inside. Check it out!“
“I love this hole in the wall brunch spot! They have some of the best options for mimosas (and $3 refills!) and the Bloody Mary is so unique! The food here always hits, I love getting the biscuits and mushroom gravy! My boyfriend recently got the green chorizo scramble and fell in love. We will be back ? if you want some good comfort food or tasty drinks, I recommend this place! ?“
“First came here for my birthday and absolutely fell in love with the place. The whiskey taster boards are amazing. Did a Scotch flight and it was sublime. The staff are super knowledgeable and ask really great questions to get your tasting preferences and offer nice alternatives to try to help expand your palate. The food is awesome. I don't think you can go wrong here with anything on the menu. Simply fabulous. If you are unsure about the place come during their happy hour and ask questions. A couple people who were there for the first time almost a year ago were there again when I was there which says a lot to me. You could hear lots of people being called by name and it just felt as warm and inviting as it was the first time. Come here and enjoy the love these people put into this place. Feels from another time.“
“Step 1) Order yourself a cocktail of your liking (Old Fashioned)Step 2) Act like you are looking at the menu, knowing you will order the Elk BologneseStep 3) Have great conversation with your guestStep 4) Say "What the hell, this could feed 4.BTW. If you have not had Elk...it has zero gamey taste, trust me on this one“
“This place is excellent. Their old fashioned drinks are amazing, and they have lots of variety. There's a huge variety of whiskeys. The service there is phenomenal! The bartender is extremely knowledgeable and makes excellent recommendations based on your preferences. The atmosphere is lovely. There's a great ambiance the lighting is just right. Everyone there is very friendly. The food there is good as well. The Shanny fries are great for sharing and they are very loaded. The bison sliders are also really good as well. My husband and I had a wonderful time eating and drinking here.Parking: There are only four or five spots so parking in front of the place is hit or miss, however, during the evening and weekends parking on the street is free.“
