I had never been to Portland! My trip ended with a visit to the Loyal Legion. Lori was my beertender and she was WONDERFUL!! We laughed and she buzzed around taking care of everyone. I also met my future ex-husband Brandon who also works there (inside joke) - everyone there was kind and helpful. Great beer too! Looking forward to going back next time I am in the area
Chili is horrible. Beer and tater tot’s very good. Kind staff.
We enjoyed our food and the view. It was comfortable and clean. Service was fine. It was bar service, but they had real menus we could take back to the table. Had a great kids playing area. Too many tvs near the kid area though… hard to get kids to eat with giant screens everywhere. We liked our food, though to be fair we read poor reviews just before and weren’t expecting much. It’s mildly overpriced, but decent for an airport.

Loyal Legion is a gem with a phenomenal selection of beers. The location is a bonus, right before security, making it perfect for waiting or grabbing a drink. The space has a big open area with comfy booths, TVs, and stunning wood ceilings, giving it a warm vibe. Huge windows let in natural light and offer views of planes. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Loyal Legion serves a burger week special and has many drafts to choose from. It is a great spot to kick off a trip or meet up with others, with friendly smiles and a good community.
