The food is amazing and so is the staff. I stop in every time I’m in PDX!
Turkey avocado club was fresh and had great flavor. We chose to dine-in. Food was made to order and we didn't mind the wait due to arriving early. They do have some good looking grab and go options. A little pricey but it is the airport so what can one expect 🙂 Friendly and helpful staff.
Outside the secure area of the Portland Airport near the check-in stations, this cafe was a quiet and clean resting spot with a good selection of breakfast dishes (although not to the extent listed on the website). Don't order in if you're in a hurry! It took a long time for the food to come out and, when it did, it was not hot. Otherwise, it was a filling breakfast. I had two eggs, potatoes, and sausage. My wife had avocado toast. Both were generous portions for airport prices.

The Country Cat offers a lovely ambiance with 70's classic R&B/soul music, making it a great spot to pass the time during a flight delay. The airport location is more of a café, small with only a few tables, but a nice relaxing place to grab a bite before or after your flight. The wine selection was nice, and the staff is friendly and professional, with great suggestions for food and drinks. Some sandwiches, like the egg, pesto, and provolone sandwich, are pre-made and warmed in a toaster oven, which can be a bit dry and bland. However, their homemade bread is outrageously delicious, and their omelette with seasoned bacon and beef is a wild ride for the taste buds, though some guests have reported inconsistent egg preparation. It’s a convenient stop for travelers but not a destination on its own.
