“One of the best meals we've had in Portland. Did not have any expectations going into it and were surprised at how good everything was. Had the crudo, plantains, steak frites and khao sai. One of the best things they do here is ask about allergies firs thing and then took our menus to the chef and had him mark down the entire menu with what we could and could not eat--wish every single restaurant did this. Definitely will be back.“

“Wonderful food and a true mom and pop shop. It's a small and quaint restaurant, definitely reserve a table if you're planning to eat in. We went at dinner time and it was pretty busy. Waited about 20 minutes for take out and it was worth it! The wienerschnitzel sandwich was great and the cherry cheese pastry is so good!“

“I make it a point to visit Canard Burnside on all of my trips to Portland! The unique flavors and presentations on their menu keep me coming back for more. Had the roasted beets last night for the first time and the flavor was out of this world.“

“Everything we ate was truly delightful, but do not sleep on the Ahi cannoli - wow wow wow; the snap pea salad - so herbaceous and fresh with a hint of pica; the bacalao croquetícas (fritters); the grilled carrots with chevre - I think we as a society should be grilling everything!; the caramel-corn pork belly - so tender, so unique (though I do wish there were more sauce & nasturtium leaves in the dish...); or the insanely rich Basque-style cheesecake with a hint of salt & amaretto! Wines were also delicious. And natural! Added bonus. The restaurant itself is very trendy but in a cute, vibey way. We felt extra special seated in the romantic lil corner booth, as it was my partner's birthday. Thanks for a wonderful night, Street Disco, we'll be back!“

“GET THE FRENCH TOAST!!! We had a great burger here last night and they server said to come back for breakfast because the French toast is phenomenal. We aren’t usually French toast people but we ordered it anyway. WOW! I am now French toast people. The service is always good and fast. Such a great spot. Highly recommend.“

“Really nice space serving charcuterie plates, sandwiches, and some other small plates. Full bar as well. Really enjoyed our visit. Waiter was a bit short and to the point , not super friendly so knock off one star. But overall id certainly recommended.“

“One of my all-time favorite restaurants! Our meal did not disappoint. I love the blini with trout caviar, Caesar salad and other small plate specials. Cabezon offers a homey and inviting atmosphere with great service and a friendly vibe. I have never had a disappointing meal at this wonderful restaurant.“

“Nice interior, good wine. Didn’t try food this first time, and sat at the bar for a glass of wine. Observed that most of staff looked unenthusiastic and very few smiling—including the manager who was dressed like a lumberjack. (A bit weird for what is being touted as a “French restaurant.”). “Went here as a early Mother’s Day treat with my daughter. Had the sample plate…. So delicious and we learned we liked it all! Also got a sundae….. totally recommend. For take home I got the cookies. This place is a gem! Stop by and check it out for sure if you are ever in the area.“

“This is a great first date place. The food presentation was outstanding. However, we felt it was a little blan. They use RC soda products here, which are flat at the bar but have carbonation if gotten from the back. Amazing happy hour!

“February 8th, 2026 menu & service was absolutely divine! Start to finish service and all staff present were absolutely charming and very attentive. Presentation was beautiful, the atmosphere felt very warm, cozy and inviting. Plates were absolutely stunning in all ways. The textures in each dish were just so perfect, exciting and unique. The flavors complimented each other so well and each course was perfectly balanced, flowing nicely into the next. Everything was absolutely perfect, the thrill of enjoying such technical yet plant based preperations genuinly brings tears of joy. Thank you so for so perfectly encapsulating the possibilities of plant based foods! 💚💚 We were happy to hear about the recipes staying and going from the menu, we couldn't agree more with the choices. The Kombucha pairings were magical. Meadowland was perfect. The respect payed to plants here, the absolutely mind blowing creativity that leaves you craving more, makes Astera stand out as a historical evolution for plant based flavor, technical creativity, creation, service and passion in the plant based realm in the U.S. Astera is heaven on earth. “Love love love this place. One a street where there has been a lot on construction changes and old buildings being torn down, this place has taken advantage of square footage in a home. Both covered and not covered outside seating areas. In door has a great bar! Customer Service is amazing, even when its busy. The Beer, fantastic! I tried all of them on tap. Bathrooms are large. Food was amazing! I highly recommend.“

“The Muddy Rudder has (in my opinion) some of the best pizza that I've had in Portland. Their menu is pretty straightforward, good appetizers, pizzas, calzones, and some sandwiches and salads. Their beer list is ever-changing and always very good, there is a full bar so options for boozy drinks are available and kids can even get their own Shirley Temples, lime-aid, etc.
The staff is always friendly and the music is always great, whether it is played over the stereo or one of the many live acts they have performing on a number of nights each month.
When the weather is cold and the fireplace is burning there aren't many other places I'd rather be outside of my home.“

“Mmm, mmm, mmm. Got the Fresh Prince and it was so fresh, it talked back! Just kidding, sandwiches don't talk but if they did, this one is whispering sweet nothings to my belly. The bread was the true Prince. Opted for sourdough and it was tasty and even had a bit of crunch! No rubbery texture causing the ingredients to slide out with each bite. I got the small size as they come in large or small and it was perfect for what I needed since I wasn't overly hungry. Great first visit. I'll have to keep this one on my radar!“

“My friend and I died at three restaurants last week. Two of these restaurants were very expensive and had great fusion menus that were highly acclaimed. We rated those restaurants 7 1/2 and 8 1/2. We rated radio room that had a much lower price, much better music and great atmosphere at 9 1/2.“

“Everything it has a cozy feeling. I love the decor. Also our waiter was very nice and friendly. I don’t live in Portland, but when I visit again I will definitely come back. My dinner was delicious. My daughter who lives in Portland suggested this restaurant.“

It’s been an ongoing struggle for the restaurant industry and i just have to say that I didn’t feel that way about this place on any level. A party of around 14 of us were looked after so well by our server/s. The DELICIOUS food came out fast, and hot, and all at the same time! The vibe was chill and not frantic. atmosphere was perfect. Clean. I had the “Mr. October”. Fried chicken breast over a fresh homemade biscuit, sausage gravy, bacon, fried potatoes.. absolute fire. Paired with their bacon infused bloody Mary topped with candied bacon.. sheesh! Only bad thing I have to say is that it’s not on my side of town and that part sucks! 😂 Go out of your way for this one if you have to. Totally worth it.“

“I had a memorable dinner at Higgins Restaurant. I ordered their Oregon Mushroom Set Menu, and each dish reflected their respect for local ingredients. The wild mushroom bisque was particularly delicious, with a smooth texture and rich aroma. The waiter was very professional and attentive, explaining the background of each dish. The elegant yet relaxed atmosphere was perfect for a leisurely meal with friends or family.“
