“BIG BIG FAN HERE!! Where do I start?! Their wine selections are unique and phenomenal! The food is ALWAYS fresh and delicious (and QUALITY ingredients)! And the vibe is off the charts! Always welcoming, relaxing, and vibrant! Thank you for being just what not only Lake Oswego NEEDED, but also the entire Portland metro area and beyond!! “
“We recently dined for our Wedding Anniversary. I tasked my husband with selecting a spot we'd never been with great food and a casual atmosphere. While he would've happily taken me to an upscale establishment, we simply wanted to celebrate in a laid back way. He made reservations to sit in the bar and they were very accommodating. We ended up at the bar, which we prefer. The atmosphere is very unique with a lot of beautiful wood. The structure is what I think is an old house and includes quaint outdoor seating. Had the temp not been in the 90s, we would've definitely sat outside. The Bartender was friendly and helpful with menu selections. I enjoyed a martini and my husband chose wine. We began with crabcakes which were flawless! The Caesar salad was wonderful as well. It included more of the leafy part of the romaine where I prefer the hearts but small thing really. Our shared entree was Alaskan halibut which was prepared simply and beautifully. We were treated by the house to a small lava cake, topped with high quality vanilla ice cream and fresh berries and it was delightful! All in all, we would definitely return to Baird's on B. We could tell that many customers were regular locals and I can see why. What a cute place to be able to walk to. On a sidenote: a group of young ladies, under legal drinking age were seated at a table nearby and they ordered various mocktails. We watched the preparation and these drinks were works of art - including fresh muddled fruit. With a growing trend of adults choosing to forego alcohol, nice option!“
“Good food, nice atmosphere, excellent service.Definitely on the expensive side, easy to spend $100-150/person for one or two glasses of wine and dinner. My biggest complaint, as other reviewers have noted, is the lack of transparency on prices of wine by the glass. Recommendations are given without mentioning the cost, so you have to ask for a price after each recommendation, and you have to rely on recommendations, since there's not a printed list to refer to.Nice, but once was enough for me.“
“Nestled discreetly within a modest urban strip mall, and positioned tantalizingly close to the Nansen Summit, Walter Mitty's Restaurant and Bar seamlessly delivers a gratifying dining experience wrapped in an unpretentious ambiance. During my visit, Susan, my gracious server, revealed the area's hidden treasures, painting a vivid picture of local gems for me to explore while I savored my meal. Her insightful guidance ensured that I departed not only satiated but also armed with a trove of captivating destinations to discover during my stay.“
“This is one of my favorite Lake Oswego staples. I started going here a few years ago for brunch and loved it. Now I go all times of the day. The staff are friendly, the food is great, and the space is clean/elegant inside but not over the top. You will be comfy in your spring brunch wear out on their patio. I love to stop in here for there Fried chicken, mac n' cheese, and greens!“
“Come here for the happy hour and stay for all the foods on the menu. Smoked mussel dish was to die for, Oysters are naturally delicious but the sauces here are amazing especially that green fish sauce, I’d bottle that and sell that immediately! Server was amazing and wish I knew their name so I can shout them out. I didn’t order it but $90 for a tasting per person is just too inexpensive for that quality and amazingly tasty dishes. Just want another shout out for the mussel dish on there March 18th menu. Dish will always be in my mind.“
“Lovely venue, amazing food. Every single bite was unique. I typically approach food as fuel, but the same ingredients prepared by masterful hands and palates on a warm Portland evening are downright ethereal. Unparalleled. Go for the fixed course meal and wine pairings, and let them make the decisions. Dealbreaker: The focaccia and butter plate is like none I’ve experienced before. Best plate ever. Seriously. If you haven’t had butter or cheese with honey and fennel, it’s a must.“
“From start to finish our experience here was perfect. The staff are so friendly and focused you will never be without anything you need. The food is beyond delicious and the presentation is beautiful. They are able to but together flavors that you would never think would work, and then wonder why you haven't been eating these combos your entire life. I woke up still dreaming of the food. And as a bonus they are a women owned business.“
“I’ve been here 7 or 8 times, and I keep coming back. Food 5 stars, love the shareable idea and that the food changes but kinda stays the same. The non meat options are chef kisses. Servers 5 stars. Bathrooms 5 stars. Desserts 5 stars. Drinks 5 stars. What more can I say? If this restaurant ever were to struggle (it wouldn’t), I would single handedly do my best to keep it in business. I may have left a review before but can’t find it so here’s another. 10/10 highly recommended“
“One of favorite breweries. A hidden jewel of the Portland beer scene. High quality beer in a wide variety of traditional styles and some innovations. Chill and friendly vibe. Dog friendly. Worth going off the beaten path to have a pint or two.“
“Such a great restaurant! My wife had recently been put on a gluten and dairy free exclusion diet and they were able to accommodate and everything was still absolutely delicious. Service is phenomenal and it’s a really beautiful restaurant.“
“Great low-key atmosphere, rain or shine! Family and dog friendly. Tons of outdoor seating, dozens of brews on tap, and several food truck options. We opted for brews and 1/4 slices of Ranch Pizza's pepperoni pizza and breadsticks. Everything hit the spot, staff were kind and helpful, and on a Friday night there was live music on the patio. We'll certainly be back!“
“Fuego Underground is indeed "Fire!" I've been to dozens of Speakeasy establishments in New York, Las Vegas, and even in Central America. Fuego Underground has easily become a top 5 favorite experience for me!It isn't secreted behind an unmarked door or hidden behind a business front, but it has an authentic feel of a Speakeasy from the 20s and 30s. The servers are dressed as flappers, and the interior of the Underground beneath De Fuego bar attached to the Monarch hotel in Clackamas is opulent yet tasteful and reminiscent of the era. There is live piano music at opening, and smooth jazz trios and featured artists later in the evening. The service is on point. Everyone embraces the spirit of the experience being created within the Fuego Underground. The cocktails are heavily weighted toward the whiskey and bourbon drinking crowd, yet all drinks are given the prohibition era spin in presentation. The entrees are predominantly various cuts of beef with some exceptions, and they are of equal quality to any high-end steak house in Portland. The sides are varied and better than most compared to, say, El Goucho or Ringside. I had a Gâteau au Chocolat for desert that was delicious! (even though I had to take it home and eat it 2 hours later for being so full!)Overall, it was an amazing experience! If you love a good Speakeasy, you HAVE to try Fuego Underground. If you just like great steaks and craft cocktails, this is a hidden gem with easy parking, but reservations are recommended. This place is popular and for very good reason.“
“Was in town for a few days and came in for lunch. First time at this spot though I've been to Han Oak before. Lunch was really excellent. I went with the Ban Chan side dishes, a dol sot bowl of rice, and split the Korean fried chicken with one wing of each flavor (essence of ramen and sweet and spicy) The ban chan was quite good, especially the marinated spinach. The wings were also excellent. Beautiful crunch and flavor. One order plus the sides was enough for lunch (for me, at least). My only disappointment was the dol sot rice. It wasn't actually dol sot. There was no fried crunch on the bottom, probably because it wasn't actually cooked in this pot. Just served that way. Felt a little unnecessary. Just a side of rice will do. Service was excellent. Sat at the bar and my bartender was kind and sweet. Was lovely to be back in PDX. Will come back for lunch next time I return.“
“Super cool snack store with some very interesting and creative sundaes ? it’s a perfect dessert place after a meal at nearby restaurants or bars.We got the cheese and crack sundaes with a marshmallow on top. Super good and we can barely finish it ?“
“Otto and Anita’s > GustavsHands down amazing. Said the red wine caper sauce was still cooking (they cook the sauces, enough said) and wasn’t available. To my surprise it wound up on my plate :) amazing spatzle + meatGood selection of import beers too“
“Stark street food is always the best. You’d drive right by it if you weren’t on an adventure, but don’t because it’s some really good food. The staff was great, the food was great, and the bar looked amazing (a little too early to be drinking).“
“I make it a point to visit Canard Burnside on all of my trips to Portland! The unique flavors and presentations on their menu keep me coming back for more. Had the roasted beets last night for the first time and the flavor was out of this world.“
“Always a wonderful experience. Top notch plant based cuisine with a wonderful twist of flavor combinations.True care and time goes into their menu, tonight we enjoyed house made tempe, sauces, vinegars, and fermented beverages that have been crafting for months.Far more than just a meal Astera delivers a dining experience worth the price of admission.Highly recommend!“
“What an experience! Don’t listen to all the reviews from folks saying it’s “overpriced” as this trend is just ridiculous—Xiao Ye is the definition of you get what you pay for. The service and ambiance is top tier; the restaurant is staffed extremely well and every person was super attentive and nice. Our server also had great food and drink recommendations. As for the food/drinks: I thought everything was stellar. Standouts were the mini Madeleines (I could eat about 50 of these) and the truffle Mac n cheese (so worth the up charge for fresh shaved truffle). The salads and cocktails were also all amazing and complex. My only gripe was the “Jolyn’s favorite noodles” lacked some flavor/spice for somebody that eats a lot of Asian noodles, but they were still a textural triumph imo.I definitely will be back!“
“I mean wow, so good. So incredibly good! I didn't realize that Plumb is the kitchen located inside of the bar (Deadshot). It was my first time experiencing something like this (maybe I need to get out more) and it was incredible. The food is made to order so patience is key but luckily theres an amazing bar with handcrafted cocktails to enjoy while you wait. We arrived right at 4pm on Saturday evening and were promptly greeted and seated. We opted for a seat right at the bar. I ordered a red wine and my husband ordered a Deadshot. Then we placed our food order. We ordered the cesar salad, grilled cabbage, burger and steak frites and everything was so incredibly good. Fresh, decadent, perfectly cooked and ever so tasty. Of the items we tried, the cabbage dish was our favorite. I've never had cabbage with bechamel, apples and hazelnuts. It was simply divine! Highly recommend checking this place out!“
“I absolutely love the decor of The Slide Inn, it really feels like I have stepped into an entire different country when i walk in. The food AND drinks are always a win, and they have great vegan and gluten free offerings, as well! The pita and hummus plate is the best I've ever had. ?Dietary restrictions: Vegan, gluten-free“
“Without a doubt one of the best sandwich joints in Portland. Absolutely everything made here is created with a passion for delicious food, and you can certainly tell when you taste it. From the smoked chicken wings, to the burgers, to the properly layered and piled high nachos, you will not be disappointed with anything you get on the menu. Pair anything with their extensive liquor selection and great tap list, along with amazing cocktails they make in house. I feel like when I’m inside, it’s like I’m back in my grandparents basement. It’s cozy and has a great feeling. Patio is great for the summertime. I can’t recommend this place enough.“
“Great rooftop. A bit chilly but really nice views. The waiter could have explained a bit more in depth about the different wines. It's like they expect you to know everything about the wine already even though you're ordering flights. Could explain a bit more while we taste, and that way you know what to order. But great atmosphere, vibes, and choices overall“
“Finding Zeno's Fusion was a happy accident after a long night at work. Driving up 99 and spotting the open sign was a small sign of fate I'm glad I followed.Zeno's Fusion is a standout spot. The menu isn't just varied; it's thoughtfully put together. Behind each item, there’s a story that adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the meal. It’s clear a lot of care goes into the selection of ingredients and cooking methods.I've visited several times since that first night. The Kebabs and Dolmas quickly became my go-tos, each visit reaffirming my love for their flavors. And the Bison Burger? It’s a must-try. Each dish not only tastes great but feels like it's made with attention and care.I wholeheartedly recommend Zeno's Fusion. It's more than just eating out; it’s discovering flavors that are both familiar and new, all served up in a welcoming atmosphere. If you find yourself nearby, don't hesitate to give it a try.“
“The cocktails and food are definitely worth the journey, but it’s the atmosphere and attention to detail that make Bellwether shine. Has the feel of a French-inspired saloon at the turn of the last century,or something straight out of Paris itself.“
“I absolutely love My Vice. I live around the corner and have been in a few dozen times over the last year or so. Great little covered and heated patio to sit with my dog. The staff are always very friendly and super attentive. They usually come out with a dog treat and a bowl of water before I get seated. Then it's bloody Mary time. The food is always spot on. The breakfast dumplings are no joke and I don't know what it is about their beef but it's top notch. They've been doing dinner service on Fridays for a while now and the menu is awesome.Vegetarian options: They usually have a variety of vegetarian optionsParking: Parking lot on the side of building holds about 8 to ten vehicles“
“Me and my five friends went for the first time to get drinks and some food to share. We made a reservation and came right at opening (4:15 ish), we all got a fun shot I had the peach tea one that was super yummy, we also tried their Jell-O shots and pudding shots. I got the "bounce bounce" mixed drink that was super good and refreshing. We got a wide variety of apps all pleasantly surprised me, my favs were the potato wedges and the carrots with hummus. Overall Daniel took great care of us and I'd return & recommend!“
“It's been a long time since I've back here. They have some tasty and crispy fried chicken here. It's nice that you can order from here and other food from the surrounding area and eat together. The spicy fried chicken dish has a good kick to it. The bread is a good compliment to it.“
“Since they moved to the single location in the heart of an office building, they’ve become increasingly harder to enjoy simply due to horribly limited parking and further limiting their hours which also directly overlaps with the times of day to which the large offices in the area are full of employees therefore using all available parking for extended periods of time. Great food and great service if you happen to live within walking distance or think far enough ahead to order delivery and don’t mind paying extra fees and additional tips for couriers.Edit: thanks for the update on the hours :) I’ll definitely keep that in mind!Parking: Little to no parking available during open business hours due to the location being aligned with a large office building with the same business hours that already limits the areas daily parking availability.“
“Love how cozy this bar is! Dim lights and vibezzz. To eat I ordered "Trivia tots" and they were great! To drink, I got the spicy margarita and an IPA. Super cozy, hip atmosphere both upstairs and down. My friend and I hung out at the bar since trivia was going on upstairs and we just wanted to chit chat. I would definitely come back next time I'm in the area looking for a quick stopover!“
“Quaint little wine shop/bar located in SE Portland. There's probably 3 little tables and bar seating. They also have a menu for small bites. Perfect place if you don't like crowded bars and are trying to go for a more quiet environment.“
“If we had to pick one bar in Portland that is our favorite go-to for any occasion, Rum Club would be it. Love the space and vibe, the people are super friendly, the drinks are oh so well-crafted, and the food is excellent!. Love this place!!“
“Preston is one of the kindest, most personable bartenders in the city, so glad LB was able to retain his talents. Give that man a raise.Beers are diverse; light sours are the main attraction, but plenty of IPAs, stouts + lagers as well. The lager is stellar. Nice to finally see some higher ABV options.Patio is great, dog friendly, both open air + more private options. The establishment encourages outside seating, which is nice to see when most places are practicing COVID denial.Lawless BBQ is no Holy Trinity, but damn good, and very reasonably priced. Happy Hour has some great deals!!All around great spot. Cheers!!“
“My family and I visited The Rambler to watch the Philadelphia Eagles Game and it was great. My parents enjoyed their drinks and the food was very good. The outdoor area in the back was nice. Parking was a bit difficult to find in the area. The food that we got was Tornado Potatoes, a quesadilla, and two orders of fish tacos. Tornado potato's were seasoned well and very tasty. The fish tacos were delicious. The tortillas and fish that they used were good. The quesadilla was even better. The service was good as well. I'll be revisiting this restaurant soon.“
“Excellent food & friendly, knowledgeable service. We asked for wine recommendations and they were all spot-on and delicious (and quite generous with the pours). If I had to choose one adjective for Davenport it might be "unaffected"--everything was done very well, without preciousness or pretense. Thanks for a lovely dinner, we'll definitely be back.“
“This place was soooo good! We had the brick house chicken and a sausage and peppers pizza. The chicken was perfect and the garlic potatoes were amazing. Pizza was fresh and super hot. Cute little chic place - clean. Service was pleasant and fast! Don't pass this place up!!“
“Everything it has a cozy feeling. I love the decor. Also our waiter was very nice and friendly. I don’t live in Portland, but when I visit again I will definitely come back. My dinner was delicious. My daughter who lives in Portland suggested this restaurant.“

“Dropped in last night after dinner up the street. Bartenders were attentive and on top of their game offering me another drink once my current one was 95% gone. Had three Mai Tai's-they were delicious. We liked the energy of this place and wouldn't hesitate to drop in again!“
“Comfortable place to eat and visit... I'm not a vegetarian, but I really enjoyed the wild salmon hash. Flavorful... The gent behind the counter was helpful. I ordered the green Macha tea w/coconut milk, oat milk and honey. Good...I met my friend, June there. She enjoyed her Avocado toast also...“
“Random place I found on google maps while walking downtown Portland. Atmosphere was very unique. We could sit on couches to eat dinner. One of a kind. Kids loved it. Place is like a bar/restaurant/living room all in one mix. Food was good. Good vibes.“
“Came here with a group from a conference nearby and had an amazing meal with excellent wine selections and recommendations. We knew in advance that our fixed menu would be $95/pp plus wine. We had a delicious meal and would happily return on our next visit to Portland!Highly recommend the focaccia (the butter is to die for) and the rabbit. Thank you for an excellent evening!“
“Cute little spot to grab a cocktail mixed excellently by such a friendly bartender. Everyone here was welcoming and so nice. The food came out pretty quick and looked amazing. I got the ox tail cheese steak sandwich with fries. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was that the cost of the meal didn't include fries. It was 16 bucks and 3 dollars more for fries. Other than thati would go again and take advantage of the happy hour pricing from 4pm-6pm.“
“The poor bartender was the only person on service. That meant from my arrival to 5:30ish, I had to walk up to the bar and request a drink, water, napkin, food....But, even after my friends started showing up and the number of staff increased,(6p.m.) no one came to our table to take our order. But, no one really took any orders unless you went to the bar. Food was delivered, but it felt like we were a bother when we waited to order. The food was ok. The Mac and cheese tasted like it was heated up and then blasted with a torch to crisp up the top.“
“My date picked this spot for a spontaneous lunch date, and we were both so happy we came!I tried the fried Brussels sprouts, which I honestly couldn't have done better myself. They were so tasty, sinfully good even ?She tried the black truffle pasta, and the delicata fritters, and we were both totally blown away by all the food.I'm definitely coming back for more! Gotta try the eggplant parmesan next!!“
“I had a little lunch date with my wife there. Everything was good and food was excellent. I had Ravioli and my wife had a salad. It seems everything they serve are good. Only thing is that price was bit expensive other than that I strongly recommend this place. My dog was watching us across street. That is my Golden Retriver name "Belle".“
“Very sweet small bar tucked away in a cozy alley. The service was fantastic-got my party of two seated quickly even though we didn’t have a reservation on a Friday. The drinks were great as well as the oysters but the octopus I ordered bordered on being too salty.“
“I am a programmer for a local city community center, and our group of seniors (13 people) had the most wonderful experience! The food, ambiance and amazing service that everyone received was top notch! What made it a truly memorable experience was the group getting to meet Cheryl herself, who was so accommodating and generous. Thank you Cheryl❤ , we will be back again and will be singing your praises with our friends and colleagues.“
“This is a lovely setting in Lake Oswego.Service is outstanding and atmosphere is very relaxing. We could have stayed there tasting wine for hours. Josh our waiter was very nice and took time explaining all the different wines and their unique characteristics. They had a red wine tasting offered. But when he heard I only drink white, he made me my own special white wine tasting. I am an owner, but I'm sure they give this outstanding service to everyone.Parking: This is in a mall by Whole Foods on State StreetSo“
