However it fell apart, was flavorful, and had crispy skin like it should - so it was still very good... just wish it'd been warmer. The orange cake is delicious. The caramelized torched top gives it a crack and nice structure. Everything was well presented. Outstanding kitchen staff attention to detail. Server was lovely - non intrusive but very attentive. “My husband and I come to Gladstones about once a month but this time I got the Huevos Rancheros and it was amazing. Way more than I could eat by myself, beautiful AND tasty. Plus, Gladstones has installed some new cushy booths. If you haven't been here yet, it's a great neighborhood restaurant.“

“This is a cute place with a great bartender. The reason I'm going with 4 stars: When I walked in, due to reflections on the glass door I couldn't see inside. I opened the door and RIGHT THERE at chest level was the massive head of a giant black dog, about a foot in front of me. I'm not exaggerating - I am very short and this was a mastiff or something. His head was twice the size of a human head. I froze. I have been attacked by dogs before and this was a terrifying experience. It was soon clear that the dog was very chill and only wanted to say hello, but it's not ok to have customers surprised like that.“

“My friend and I decided to come and have happy hour and we ordered california roll the wagu beef sliders the cod tacos and the fishermens stew. I enjoyed the sliders very much. The california roll had more rice than filling but, the crab meat, avocado and cucumber had good flavor but the quantity was very small. the cod tacos didn't say it was blackened with spices that were a little more than my taste buds could handle. the fishermens stew was very flavorfull and had well cooked fish and seafood. I would not recommend the california roll because of the amount of rice.“

“Cool, casual vibe. My party ordered our food to go. Out food was prepared rather quickly. Nice dining room. They had outdoor seating out front along with a back patio. I forgot plates and napkins to pack and they provided all things I needed on top of bunch of pizzas. “We could smell the delicious aroma before we opened the door. The Canadian Bacon pizza is the BEST I've ever eaten. The single slices are BIG. The Spinach & Chevre salad was fantastic, although I wasn't super excited about the dressing. The server was very friendly and even voided our ticket so we could get the points added to my niece's account. However, they forgot to put her panini in our To Go order. Nevertheless, I'll be going back to Pizzacato many times in the future. I liked the simple and quiet atmosphere. Parking is not easy though. We had to drive around before finding a spot. Next time, we will park in the back and walk on the pathway between the buildings.“

“We order at least once a week from Pioneer Family Pizza, and happily so! The food is always perfect, the service is always friendly and respectful. We have been ordering take out once a week for almost 5 years now and I don't see that routine changing! The order is always correct and at a "more than fair" price. The restaurant, while we have never actually sat, is always clean and with a cool vibe! The staff has always been super kind and that reflects on the management and ownership. I got the Chicken Katsu, and it's was enough for two people holy wow. It looked like two breasts worth of meat! I took half home.

Pad See Ew (4/5): Fresh vegetables, good firmness and tenderness for the noodles. The sauce was well balanced, not too heavy or too light. Portion size was decent for the price. I'd order this again.

Service (3/5): Normal for a food cart. No frills, just order and wait. It came out fast and the person taking orders was polite enough.

Ambiance: Not Rated
Indoor seating with booths, tables, an arcade, and a play area. It's casual and family friendly, good for bringing kids since they have something to do while waiting for the food. Not a fancy date spot but perfectly fine for a quick meal.“

“It's a hole-in-the-wall Cantonese BBQ spot. There are roast ducks and a whole pig prominently on display, a box full of bags of raw chicken feet right next to it, a whiteboard with prices, a couple cheap tables off to the side, complementary loose leaf tea if you eat in, and maybe 3-5 employees hanging around, one of whom speaks a little bit of english. You know what to expect if you have been to places like that. This one sports unusually tall ceilings and a few dim sum items in addition to the usuals. I did not think there were places like this in Portland.

The duck and roast pork were absolutely excellent, best I have had for a long time. The char siu was extremely tender and flavorful too! Next time I'll be sure to try the chicken. Service was... well, if you are a monolingual english speaker, expect to have some trouble and do a lot of pointing, but everyone tries their best and seems kind and helpful. Atmosphere was perhaps not great on its own merits but super authentic and I wouldn't trust a place like this if it looked too polished.

We ate in, which is good for sampling things, but I think the smart move if you know what tou want is to buy meat to go.“

In this location, the game “spot the cow” is popular. Basically if kids under 10(?) find the cow in the store, they can claim a treat. Very fun.
