“Picked up an Amalfi Bounty sandwich for the road. Massive hoagie roll but delicious flavors and so many vegetables. Cheese is thinly sliced so it doesn’t overwhelm the fillings. There’s a parking lot here and the 2 unisex bathrooms are clean.“

“My friend and I visit here every Friday evening. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. Especially Jason. He remembers regulars, and is very genuinely caring about the people he serves. The servers, including Lupita, are very prompt and nice. Your drinks never go empty! We prefer this location because it’s not only open until 10pm, but because we have had such pleasant experiences with the staff. Food is pretty darn good too! Fresh breakfast meats and French toast! “This is a great first date place. The food presentation was outstanding. However, we felt it was a little blan. They use RC soda products here, which are flat at the bar but have carbonation if gotten from the back. Amazing happy hour!

“This was the first visit, but there will be many, many more! We showed up and were told there’d be about a 10 min wait - which was fine! About 30 seconds later though, we had a seat and were looking at the menus! Service was excellent and kind. The food was so, so good! The portions were more than generous and the coffee was good! Can’t wait for our next visit!“

“This review is based on our last few minutes paying the bill, everything else was top notch. Our group of 4 was chatting when our bills arrived and continued to visit, and our waiter came by to gather abit later and told him it was ready. At this time we Bagan to review our bills to pay one with a card and we were paying cash. As soon as I placed the cash in their bifold and placed on the table another waiter came to the table and stated being just like our waiter and dressed similarly. Worth noting she was about 110 5 foot or so with our waiter at 220 plus and 6ft or so wit a great beard. I stated that our waiter had much bigger feet and a great beard with my wife commenting about our matching hairlines... lol right. No next thing we get is she identifies as law enforcement and proceeds to walk away with an elevated voice "I'll kick beat you down" I turned left to my friend and sain now she wants to wrestle. At this point mist people are watching and then just short of screaming she yells "I'll Kick your A$$". And indeed the entire restaurant is watching on what was going on, I simply went back to visiting with our group not knowing what was next. Not long afterwards our waiter walked by and as he did thank me for the tip. No follow up from management nothing. So probably about 15 minutes after this a few other groups had left and we started our departure and still nothing. Over the years we have been here many times as a couple and a few large groups, after this event not to sure we could return for an enjoyable dining experience with their staff threatening some ones life unprovoked. “Second time coming here, amazing and personable staff, adequate timing to order and food came out at a reasonable time. The waiter Carrie was great and had a great sende of humor. Will continue to come back here. And the portion sizes for the price is very generous and great. Overall great experience for the second time. We went on a Wednesday morning. I know the weekends get very busy with long wait times, so its best to get their as soon as you can, especially with a larger party.“

“Amazing American breakfast with a Korean twist! I stopped in here fresh off a flight when I was starving from not eating for 18 hours. The hotcakes are the best I've ever tasted, and at the suggestion of a regular, I tried the hot sauce on my scrambled eggs--wow, couldn't get any better! Super cool interior and great service! Stopped in the next week on my way back tonthe airport, and was not disappointed. I only wish I knew what they put in those hotcakes to give them such a great texture and flavor.“

“The food was so delicious. I love cooking but have not eaten anything this good. The Coconut Tilapia was so delicious, The oxtail, plantain, veggies, rice, chapati were so good. The food was delivered many miles away yet it was still very warm and very hygienically packed. If I lived in Portland, I would eat here as many times but unfortunately I'm in a different state but whenever I would visit Portland I would definitely eat at Amani African Cuisine. “I ordered a combination dinner on my first visit, as I’ve been trying to find a great Chinese restaurant in the area. The chow mein was a bit different than what I expected, but the shrimp and fried rice were both very good.

I asked the waitress if I could swap the chow mein for additional fried rice since it wasn’t quite to my taste, and the staff was incredibly polite, understanding, and generous in accommodating my request. Their customer service really stood out, and I truly appreciated how they handled everything.

When the new owner's took it over this year, we were concerned about whether the comfortable, flavorful, "homestyle" experience we were used to would remain. The new team has done great! The staff is super friendly and working hard to make people feel welcome, learning names of regulars, and carrying on a place with a great reputation. The food is still excellent with super generous, well prepared portions and very reasonable prices. Well done!“

“Live in Post Falls Idaho and met my aunt and uncle there as they frequent often. I was worried about a place called bumpers and was hesitant.
