Albeit a chain, Black Bear Diner's usually have pretty good eats. Service is pretty good, portions are beyond ample, if you leave there still hungry there's something wrong with you. Usually have breakfast, regardless of the time of day, and it usually doesn't disappoint. Staff is friendly and usually take pretty good care of you. When I'm in need of some home cooking/comfort food, the Bear brings this Cub to the Den.
Generous portions. Servers are friendly and attentive. Over easy eggs are always perfectly cooked. Red skin fried potatoes are delicious. Ham steak very juicy. HUGE biscuit! Great breakfast. I always get a side of fresh fruit.
