“Picked up an Amalfi Bounty sandwich for the road. Massive hoagie roll but delicious flavors and so many vegetables. Cheese is thinly sliced so it doesn’t overwhelm the fillings. There’s a parking lot here and the 2 unisex bathrooms are clean.“

“This review is based on our last few minutes paying the bill, everything else was top notch. Our group of 4 was chatting when our bills arrived and continued to visit, and our waiter came by to gather abit later and told him it was ready. At this time we Bagan to review our bills to pay one with a card and we were paying cash. As soon as I placed the cash in their bifold and placed on the table another waiter came to the table and stated being just like our waiter and dressed similarly. Worth noting she was about 110 5 foot or so with our waiter at 220 plus and 6ft or so wit a great beard. I stated that our waiter had much bigger feet and a great beard with my wife commenting about our matching hairlines... lol right. No next thing we get is she identifies as law enforcement and proceeds to walk away with an elevated voice "I'll kick beat you down" I turned left to my friend and sain now she wants to wrestle. At this point mist people are watching and then just short of screaming she yells "I'll Kick your A$$". And indeed the entire restaurant is watching on what was going on, I simply went back to visiting with our group not knowing what was next. Not long afterwards our waiter walked by and as he did thank me for the tip. No follow up from management nothing. So probably about 15 minutes after this a few other groups had left and we started our departure and still nothing. Over the years we have been here many times as a couple and a few large groups, after this event not to sure we could return for an enjoyable dining experience with their staff threatening some ones life unprovoked. The pumpkin waffle was out of this world, and my husband loved the breakfast burrito. 10/10 recommend, will come back next visit to Portland. “Nice classic vintage place. The decor inside is worth viewing. Also, The Price Is Right was playing on a TV. That was cool seeing some of the first people on a color tv. It takes you back about 60 years but reminded me that we are all very similar as people, like even though that was a long time ago, deep down, things haven't really changed all that much. Now that it’s Annie’s it has the best cheeseburgers in Portland Hands down: I’m so spoiled by this burger joint that I can’t eat any other burger anymore. Their Fries r perfect. They make shoestring fries by grating potatoes they come out in long soft fries greasy in the very best of ways.“

Yani served us was so nice and accommodating with us taking forever to order, and Chad (who I think was the shift lead or floor manager) was so cool, and gave us so many recommendations for places to go to in town. Honestly completely shocked with how nice the service was. The food was as cheap as I heard, but shit, it was honestly pretty great. I don't think Ive spent $16 on a meal since before covid.“

“I really loved the wings and still do but after awhile the staff started being weird and the wings be really dry like they could be old or just fried too much… some the meat is so burnt there is no meat to really eat on the wing… this is new so I hope it doesn’t keep happening. “Five Guys has great burgers they get your order done in a timely fashion it's a very clean environment they come out to clean tables every 15 minutes they have a freestyle soda machine with every soda option imaginable they have lettuce wraps and bowls for those with sensitivities if you tell them you have an allergy to gluten they will make your burger in a separate area however if you have sensitivities to gluten mayo is not a good option for your burger as the Mayo is swiped on regular buns and will contain little bits of bun in it always read the menu ahead of time if you have other sensitivities.“

“I ordered through the drive thru a order and ordered some Mozzarella sticks (4 pack) and when zi got them home to eat. They were not even warm and when I bit into it. It tasted awful. I opened one and the cheese inside was dark and did not even look like Mozzella at all. It looked like it was made and left under the heat lamp to long. On the outside looked good but when you opened the stick it was dry, over cooked and did not look very tasty.“
