“I asked GPT to help find me a few burger places to try and this is one that came up. And I understand why. The burger was great. The fries were amazing, and came with a ranch sauce that I could tell was hands down better then the ones most places serve.
The burger had a great texture and the way everything was prepared I didn't even bother trying to add ketchup to it even thou I add it to everything. It was just that good on it's own.

I wanted to try one of the malts but was so full from the burger that I now have a reason to go back.

“I’m not sure if Jane is the owner but was very nice. There are two tablets to order on and it was super nice to have a sink to wash your hands not within the bathroom. The pricing was a little expensive but the food was delicious. I enjoyed a single hamburger, fries and even the chicken strips. The flavors really hit the spot! “6/5 stars, beyond my expectations. My wife and I drove 50 minutes to try this new food truck in Portland after reading the OregonLive article about them. The food was phenomenal and have us craving for more. We ordered the Smash burger and fries, it was perfect in every way. The bun tasted homemade and super fresh, the patty was cooked perfectly and super flavorful, the homemade pickles were better than any pickles we’ve had from any restaurant, and the monster sauce was the best sauces I’ve had for a “special sauce” mixture (which I normally despise). The fries are cooked to perfection (my wife said she has never had a better fry in her life) and the garlic aioli was delicious. There was no big line, our food was served super quick and was super fresh. This food cart should be picking up business really quick so come get one of Portland’s best smash burgers while you can before the lines start forming.“

“Perfect old school burger and ice cream joint. I loved everything about it. The older gentleman taking orders was a rock star delight! The food was out so fast and it was perfect. The bacon double cheeseburger is textbook for the style. Truly, the fries were shoe string perfection. So hot, so crispy and I think cooked in tallow. My wife's burger was also perfect. The Marion berry shake was also spot on. Real! The setting was the iconic start of summer night. The fire department was there getting cones with a big truck. A kids baseball team was there. Wee tiny kiddos running around for the joy of childhood and ice cream. Many families and couples all enjoying the nice outdoor tables and warm summer night. I cannot wait to go back!!“

“We found them on Google, walked in and gave them a try. They were so good! The pumpkin waffle was out of this world, and my husband loved the breakfast burrito. 10/10 recommend, will come back next visit to Portland. “This review is based on our last few minutes paying the bill, everything else was top notch. Our group of 4 was chatting when our bills arrived and continued to visit, and our waiter came by to gather abit later and told him it was ready. At this time we Bagan to review our bills to pay one with a card and we were paying cash. As soon as I placed the cash in their bifold and placed on the table another waiter came to the table and stated being just like our waiter and dressed similarly. Worth noting she was about 110 5 foot or so with our waiter at 220 plus and 6ft or so wit a great beard. I stated that our waiter had much bigger feet and a great beard with my wife commenting about our matching hairlines... lol right. No next thing we get is she identifies as law enforcement and proceeds to walk away with an elevated voice "I'll kick beat you down" I turned left to my friend and sain now she wants to wrestle. At this point mist people are watching and then just short of screaming she yells "I'll Kick your A$$". And indeed the entire restaurant is watching on what was going on, I simply went back to visiting with our group not knowing what was next. Not long afterwards our waiter walked by and as he did thank me for the tip. No follow up from management nothing. So probably about 15 minutes after this a few other groups had left and we started our departure and still nothing. Over the years we have been here many times as a couple and a few large groups, after this event not to sure we could return for an enjoyable dining experience with their staff threatening some ones life unprovoked. “I’m a Portland native. This building used to be a Roakes. Now that it’s Annie’s it has the best cheeseburgers in Portland Hands down: I’m so spoiled by this burger joint that I can’t eat any other burger anymore. Their Fries r perfect. They make shoestring fries by grating potatoes they come out in long soft fries greasy in the very best of ways.“

“I went to Sammy's on a friend's recommendation and it was amazing. It was pretty busy and there were only 2 people working. One cook and one front counter person taking orders and making milkshakes. I thought it would take a while but the food came out fairly fast. The onion rings were perfectly fried and crispy and the fish sandwich was moist and not overly breaded with a beautifully melted cheese skirt. The milkshakes were insanely good and handmade. Considering the great food quality, the prices were very reasonable. 10/10 I can't wait to go back.“

“Best veggie burger of my life! Hands-down, they have the best veggie burger, and I consider myself an aficionado. It’s not the crap- filled, unhealthy version, the boring fart inducing version or the dry dusty crumbly version. It’s a beautiful, well crafted, superbly FLAVORFUL, house made veggie burger with vegetables and whole foods. The flavor has an adobo taste to it. Plus they put cheese on it! I love veggie burgers, but I’m not a vegan or vegetarian so this was just really cool. I would definitely come back here again soon.

We came here super late and all the car pods were closed about 10 minutes before they’re closing time. We were just about to scramble and find an alternative And saw that this car has their lights on. We rolled up, thinking that they were certainly not going to service, but they absolutely did and with a smile“
