“I ordered a combination dinner on my first visit, as I’ve been trying to find a great Chinese restaurant in the area. The chow mein was a bit different than what I expected, but the shrimp and fried rice were both very good.

I asked the waitress if I could swap the chow mein for additional fried rice since it wasn’t quite to my taste, and the staff was incredibly polite, understanding, and generous in accommodating my request. Their customer service really stood out, and I truly appreciated how they handled everything.

I would definitely come back again!“

“This review is based on our last few minutes paying the bill, everything else was top notch. Our group of 4 was chatting when our bills arrived and continued to visit, and our waiter came by to gather abit later and told him it was ready. At this time we Bagan to review our bills to pay one with a card and we were paying cash. As soon as I placed the cash in their bifold and placed on the table another waiter came to the table and stated being just like our waiter and dressed similarly. Worth noting she was about 110 5 foot or so with our waiter at 220 plus and 6ft or so wit a great beard. I stated that our waiter had much bigger feet and a great beard with my wife commenting about our matching hairlines... lol right. No next thing we get is she identifies as law enforcement and proceeds to walk away with an elevated voice "I'll kick beat you down" I turned left to my friend and sain now she wants to wrestle. At this point mist people are watching and then just short of screaming she yells "I'll Kick your A$$". And indeed the entire restaurant is watching on what was going on, I simply went back to visiting with our group not knowing what was next. Not long afterwards our waiter walked by and as he did thank me for the tip. No follow up from management nothing. So probably about 15 minutes after this a few other groups had left and we started our departure and still nothing. Over the years we have been here many times as a couple and a few large groups, after this event not to sure we could return for an enjoyable dining experience with their staff threatening some ones life unprovoked. “I was so glad my husband and I found this food cart! There's so many to choose from and we weren't craving the menus of most. This cart was sort of hidden around the corner from the others we checked out and it was an instant yes from both of us. I ordered the Mbuzi and was blown away with flavor. So, so good. I believe it was Tony C. who served me and he was really nice. I asked some questions about the Mbuzi and he told me more about how it's made. As a fan of cooking East and West African cuisine, I really appreciated it. Wish I took a picture of the food so it could last longer, haha.“

“Live in Post Falls Idaho and met my aunt and uncle there as they frequent often. I was worried about a place called bumpers and was hesitant. But I have to say my chicken sandwich might have been one of the best and the rest was good also. Server was spot on and it was a great reunion. I just wonder if the name was changed if it would do more business. It was more fine dining, than a Bumpers. Great job guys.“

“Stopped in to check it out. They have a little bar called the Red Shed. Very cool little bar thay sells cigars. Inside and outdoor seating but only smoking available outside. The McMenamins locations are super cool and this one is one of the best. It's huge with its own winery, brewery and lots of gardens and cool hotel and restaurants. If you're looking for an amazing place to check out this needs to be on your list. Very close to PDX and plenty of parking. Check it out...you'll like it. I guarantee it!“

“We attended McMenamin’s Wassail Cider fest in January so we wanted to try more of their ciders and this is what popped up online. We got the cider flight and the red wine flight, both of which were really good. However, the wine flight they gave us 2 of the 4 glasses, then told us to come back to the back for the other 2, which was a bit weird and honestly I wasn’t a fan of. The service was also pretty lackluster, it was walk up service, which seems to be pretty common in the PNW so we’ve grown accustomed to it, but when its walk up service, I expect a little more when I do come to the bar to order. There were two employees, a blonde woman that I’d guess was in her 20s and a middle aged gentleman. The woman was very nice and enthusiastic and seemed eager to help, but the man seemed like he was doing everything he could to avoid serving guests; when I returned to the bar for the second half of our wine flight, he noticed me, but proceeded to drink water, pace around, look in the storage closet, take a step towards me, turn around, take his sweatshirt off, look around again, then finally came up. As a bartender myself, it seemed like all the things that someone does when they don’t want to help a guest, so they try to waste as much time as possible until another co-worker comes to help them. The vibe was pretty cool being in the basement with glass windows all around so you could see the wine barrels, but it was a bit too dark in my opinion, which made it seem kind of dingy being in the basement. I also wasn’t a fan that when you walk in, there are no signs or menus, just brochures advertising other McMenamin’s properties, and the bar is very small with standing room only and very crowded. It reminded me of a busy college bar where I had to fight through to order drinks, but in this case I had to do that just to see a menu, let alone order a drink; not exactly the experience I want from a tasting room. Overall though, it was still unique experience and I’m sure it would be really cool to stay on property, but I don’t think I’d go back.“

“Gorgeous grounds that you can spend hours walking. This property was formerly a work farm for the local poor. It has been repurposed as a vineyard, hotel, spa, restaurant, bar, golf course and more! There are many events held here but it is absolutely worth a visit even if you don't plan to stay the night. Check out the wine cellar or espresso bar for some great local options, or head inside to the gift shop for some kitschy finds.“

“This is always our Go-to place to eat in Estacada! the food is alway on point, no matter what you get. We love the Club Sandwiches and the Enchiladas!!! But like I said everything we've had is AMAZING 👏 I also love the recent addition of the Kids Game machines! This has been a huge plus when we go to dinner with our 5 kids. The staff are always so inviting and I never have to ask for more to drink. If you want great food, friendly staff and always quality fresh food then head to Old Mill!!! “Elevator Coffee in NE Portland was recently named the best coffee in the United States. Never tried it, so I ordered a couple bags of beans and had them shipped to my place. Got a bag of Counterweight Blend and a bag of Lift Blend. Delicious“
