“Thirsty Lion is my favorite restaurant in Hillsboro. I go for brunch most weekends as they have an excellent brunch menu. Mikyla is one of their best servers and I always ask for her at brunch. All the servers are attentive and friendly.I recommend the edamame or pretzel for an appetizer, and the bread pudding for desert. You can’t go wrong with any entree but my favorite is the Caesar salad with salmon and my husband loves the French dip.“
“A nice cozy spot. Food is always consistent, as is the service. All McMenamins have a unique vibe and this location is one of my favorites. Whether cozying up by the fire in the winter or sitting outside in the summer, anytime is a great time to stop in for a burger and a drink. Love the vegan Mystic Burger and the house made mystic sauce. I used to love the cajun tots but for some reason all locations have just become so stingy with the spices I just order them regular now because there isn't much of a difference but I still enjoy them.“
“I went in at the busiest time of the day, and was still able to get meat cut to order; it included one of the nicest beef tenderloins I've ever seen. As a rule, their meat is of higher quality, and the prices are a better than you would get at a grocery store.Wheelchair accessibility: This establishment complies with all handicap accessibility code.“
“Really good food, very friendly staff, and really good managers, I definitely recommend Stanford’s in Tanasbourne , everyone needs to come in and try it if you haven’t yet, I recommend the fried calamari and the chimichurri steak tips, they are really really good, save space for dessert and try the chocolate mousse, and make sure to try out the drinks the way is made is all fresh made juices, so if you are in the area make sure to stop by at Stanford’s in Tanasbourne, you will not be disappointed.“
“We stopped here for lunch and loved it. Great fish tacos and a good margarita. We came back a second time for lunch and the food wasn't quite as good, but still a nice meal. We went for breakfast our last day in town and was not impressed. I'm told they're famous for their breakfast, so maybe we just made bad choices. I had the corned beef hash and it had very little flavor and was quite chewy. One of my poached eggs was good, the other overcooked. My husband had Sammy's scramble, which was mostly hash browns. Huge portions if that's a consideration, but I left most of mine. Might go back there again for the fish taco if I were in town.“
“Lunch with friends. Everyone's meal looked delicious, and no one disliked their food. I had the impossible burger with peanut butter and jelly. It was amazing!! Our waitress was wonderful, engaging, and attentive. We had a wonderful time!“
“We arrived at 10:30 PM and were soon attended to by a friendly young woman who efficiently saw to the frequent needs of all 20 of us customers. Piping hot and scratch made tenders and calamari were plated and delivered within 5 minutes of ordering each time. I could not leave without complaining the young woman and the kitchen!“
“Came in on the way home from bed ng out and about with my son and stopped in for a hot chocolate for my little three year old. The service was wonderful, the ladies working were so kind (and I apologize my son is learning the difference between sir and ma'am) I'm pretty sure you gave me a discount and made it 99¢ and honestly it made my night. You never know the difference you make in others lives and as a single mom I don't get to treat myself or my son to nice things often so it means a lot you did that for us.“
“I had a job in the area and needed to kill some time. I am a huge golf fan so I thought let me try Topgolf. It was great I enjoyed watching the golfers while I had a little snack and some tea. The staff was awesome they were patient and kind and quick. I also learned more about the appParking: Plenty of spaces, Handicap spots in front. Lots of parking. There is also a drop off location.Kid-friendliness: A great place to take the little ones. Especially if they like golfWheelchair accessibility: There is plenty of accessibility for wheelchairs. So much room.“
“Tucked around the corner and through the bushes, from the Mcmenamins Roadhouse, this place can be easy to walk past. Signage for the co-establishment is sub par, but just ask the staff and they will point you. I would recommend this place for any after work gathering. Whiskey bar with cigar offerings and plenty of outside seating. You can even eat from a condensed menu via the Roadhouse kitchen.“
“The salmon chowder was fresh, well balanced, and just down right amazing. The chicken marsala was also perfectly cooked and extremely flavorful which can't be matched locally so far. We also had the braised beef which was packed with vibrant flavors that made it rich and delightful to the last spoon full. But it wasn't just the food that did it, the entire atmosphere was amazing and I highly suggest visiting them for a warm and inviting atmosphere.“
“Yeah baby... if you want a good meal, Hales is one of those "must go to" places...My personal recommendations are their Biscuits and Gravy or their Denver Omelet with Hashbrowns and smothered in their "Spartan Sauce"...which is a light cheese sauce that makes the steaming hot off of the grill Omelet "pop"...The other menu items and fare are all just as good... as I have been a customer of Hales for well in excess of 40 years, you could say that I know this from personal experience and taste testing. The Bar serves good stout Adult beverages, a decent two finger shot and good flavorful cup of Joe.“
“Our kids gave us a gift card for Christmas so this was our first time going to hops n drops. We weren’t sure what to expect and were pleasantly surprised. Our waitress, Erica, was so friendly and attentive. Our drinks and food came really fast We’ve never had drinks in ice glasses before, so that was fun. The food was delicious! We will definitely be going back. My hubby is hard to impress, and he was raving about this place!“
“Well this is awkward. My doctor's office is over by this location of Insomnia. I'd pretty much written off buying their drinks because they weren't even tasting like what I recalled. But I stopped here, went through the drive thru, and ordered my favorite Insomnia beverage. Black Forest Mocha with 6 shots, Oatmilk and no whip. Well first off, the staff (both times I visited last week,) was kind and very friendly. I also didn't wait long at all for my coffee. But WEIRD my coffee was $2 less here than at the Murray Hill location. Guess I just have to drive a bit farther for good service and coffee because they're a 5/5 and the other location right by my house is a 2/5.“
“Lively setting with axe throwing in the background. We came to watch and see how it was done. Burger was juicy and super flavorful but wish the sweet potato flies had still been warm. Our server had a great sense of humor and was just the right amount of attentive in spite of have to hustle among a bunch of tables.“
“The food is great, I had an off menu wrap. The service is amazing, everyone keeps their attitude at home, nothing but cheerful employees here trying to help you to the best of their abilities. The atmosphere would be five stars as well but it is a bowling alley and can get quite noisy. That's the only reason for a 4 star review for atmosphere. Other than that the patrons are very friendly as well. If you're waiting on a movie across the street, looking for a great date idea, or just board looking for some time to kill, then this is a great suggestion. Besides a bowling alley it's also an arcade that gives you tickets that you can cash in for prizes. Granted the prizes are geared towards children, there's still some stuff there that would be a great idea for a first date prize. Highly recommend this place and will stop by again if I'm ever in the area“
“Time and time again, this gem never disappoints. Their brunch is absolutely slept on and is by far the best in Orenco Station. Their dinner menu is also amazing. They have a vast selection of local beer/ales, and delicious cocktails.Giant Delicious Pancakes, veggie omelette, fish & chips, bacon jam burger, Bavarian pretzel in photos attached!!Kid-friendliness: They have food options our 8 year old really enjoys!“
“It had been at least 20 years since I had been here so I decided tonight to go in and give it a try. The main restaurant had one other couple, otherwise was empty. Tons of people in the bar on the slot machines. The restaurant itself hasn’t changed a bit, if you want to step back in time some 30-40 years you’ll get that experience in this restaurant. A remodel would really help to bring things up to date but considering how slow it was in a Friday night I can imagine why it hasn’t happened. Our waiter didn’t have the best English but she did her best and was very timely with things. The food wasn’t anything special but for what it was it was very good. Our bill at the end was hand written, not something you see much of anymore. Overall I’d probably go back again.Parking: Difficult parking during daytime due to DMV traffic but otherwise open if DMV is closed.“
“Our server Michael in the Hillsboro oregon location was so awesome he was on fire had our drinks n appetizer ready in minutes he was kind made us smile he knew about the menu n drinks had a great recommendation for us with food n drink it was insane how great everything was food drink but our serve Michael was insane how well we were taken care of we will be back with ourselves n family n friends our new favorite place had a 2 wonderful prime rib dinners with soup salad n dessert n xtra sides at such a great price n great food but again our server Michael was amazing super awesome“
“The food was pretty good. I had chicken tenders that were a bit heavy on the breading but the taste was good. Service was good although it was very busy, the place was packed, and I only saw two servers. I don't know if that's normal for a Thursday night but they could have used another server or help from the on shift manager. Drinks were great. Atmosphere was good if you're looking for a place to gather that's loud like most bar type settings.“
“Located inside the Embassy Suites. This a nice restaurant to relax in at the end of the day. Nice variety on the menu. Salads were fresh and quite large...easily serving 2 people. The butternut squash soup was really good. Taysia, the server, was very pleasant.“
“Great food and great service always nice to eat here. Wouldn't recommending the cheesecake waffle it was sort of nasty. Other than that everything else was great. But I do believe that the little drinks are overpriced for how small they are.Parking: The parking lot is not that big but there is parking in front of this diner.Wheelchair accessibility: There is handicap parking and ramps for wheelchairs.“
“My husband and I are regulars at Coyote's. We have spent many hours enjoying the great food, friendly staff and especially dancing to the live music on weekends. Coyote's hosted an absolutely wonderful Thanksgiving dinner. Very traditional turkey or ham with all the fixings. Everything was delicious and we enjoyed the company of some of our good friends and met some new ones, too. Mark and Wanda, the owners, along with Haley and Tamara and, of course, the great kitchen staff put on an amazing spread and friendly, family-like service! A great big thank you for making our Thanksgiving so very special!“
“Good food, a bit spendy, but they don't put a tip option when you pay. That's huge for me, I hate tip culture and would much rather pay more. They also bus the tables for you, and leave you alone if you want to sit there and chat for a long time. Love “
“Lot’s of options for bar food. Probably one of the best in a 1 mile radius.Their basic American no frills cheeseburger loaded with standard options is unbeatable. And you get your choice of cheeses. It doesn’t seem to matter who is in the back cooking, quality/delicious every time!!! The kitchen always delivers!!!Going on 8 months since I found this hidden gem. The always pleasant staff is what brings me back food is a bonus.Side note: One of the few places with three or four Fort George brews on tap all the time.“
“Used to work there when Mike and Judy owned the place. It was probably the funnest job I had until I moved back to Alaska and started my own businesses. O’Brien’s was always a great place to meet with friends. I always stop in when I travel through that area.“
“Love this place. The meat quality is outstanding and the owners are sweet as can be. I wish more people would get their meat here than the plastic fake shiz walmart tries to sell you. The taste n texture alone is worth the extra few bucks. I rather rat here once a month then get 3 meals of meat from.a chain store. ❤️❤️❤️“
