I love this restaurant! The beauty and peacefulness of the golf course, combined with excellent cooks/waitstaff, make dining here a true pleasure. The fish and chips, traditional turkey dinner, liver and bacon, and their excellent omelets keep me coming back.
The food is fabulous!! They are generous with the burger toppings and the side salad is great! Bad acoustics though so it’s hard to have a conversation. Just need to talk loud and listen carefully. LOL. The price was very reasonable. We will go back.
I recommend not ordering fries unless they can guarantee they have not been fried in the same oil they used for fish. In addition I’d also recommend asking to have the bacon on your sandwich not be a bunch of small pieces where some are dark and crispy and some are barely cooked & chewy. I’d been looking forward to my sandwich & sweet potato fries for 2 days prior & was extremely disappointed that the fries tasted awful & the bacon was cooked unevenly.
