“We went here for dinner. We ordered:-Salmon belly nigiri- 5/5, so fatty and delicious, it was a special-Spicy Salmon roll- 4/5-Tuna Avocado roll- 4/5-Salmon/Cheese roll (cooked salmon, cream cheese, cucumber)- 0/5I would come here again for just the delicious salmon belly nigiri, but since it was a special, I don’t know if they offer it all the time. You order at the front, then sit and wait for them to bring the food to your table. There are probably six or so tables. It’s very small. It seems like a step up from conveyor-belt sushi restaurants, since this is made-to-order. But this is a step down from a more formal sushi restaurant with waiters.“
“The service here is always great. I try something new every time I visit. I have never been disappointed.Parking: The entrance is just a short walk from the parking garage exit door. You literally walk out of the first floor parking door and the restaurant is immediately in view. There's a cover from the garage to the entry, so if it's raining, you don't have to walk in the rain.“
“We stopped here on a whim and found the best Terriyaki place in Hillsboro. The food was wonderful! The serving size was great … especially for the price! The service was fantastic … the gentleman at the counter was extremely nice! He got water for us even though we could have gotten it ourselves. We ordered vegetable tofu Terriyaki, chicken Terriyaki with gyoza and kung pao chicken. Every dish was hot, fresh and delish!“
“Great food for a strip mall teriyaki joint. I had the house special with hot beef and veggies. It was great. Came with shrimp tempura which were better than I expected, fairly light and delicate on the breading, along with gyoza and egg roll. A lighter light on the veggies, but they were cooked right, with a slight amount of crunch. If you're out and about and need a cheap lunch that's tasty and your stomach won't hate you for afterward, this is a great option.“
“Very big quantities of food! Delicious healthy food. It'll be healthier if you go easy on the teriyaki sauce and the gyoza sauce! Sriracha barely has any sugar, so it's fine to have at it. Teriyaki and Sriracha go well together, including when mixed with rice. Again, very generous portions of food! Free miso soup for customers! Also, free hot tea! Refills for miso soup are free, too! One day, this restaurant should serve ramen soup as it currently serves chicken udon soup, which I recommend! Chicken curry is very healthy and delicious, it has boiled carrots, potatoes and broccoli. I love this restaurant. It makes healthy food appetizing. Good. ?Vegetarian options: Tofu as a meat substitute. Instead of Beef or Chicken Teriyaki, you can ask for Tofu Teriyaki instead. Ask what other menu items can be substituted with tofu.Dietary restrictions: The entire menu is virtually dairy free.“
“A small quaint place with a pretty huge variety of saki. Service was very good and so is the food. The bento box was big with a good variety of coke and hot dishes, and it came with a nicely dressed salad and miso soup. The sashimi pieces were a bit on the smallish side but everything else was great.“
“These meals are huge. They're kinda run-of-the-mill teriyaki, though. There is little difference between this and other teriyaki places. I would have preferred a smaller, more exquisite bento or at least a warning that the meal is huge and should be shared. The staff is lovely, the dining area is neat as a pin.“
“Going to Lu's Teriyaki puts an instant smile on my face. Lu is very friendly and warm. She has the sweetest smile. Perfect chicken teriyaki bowl. Their pancit and lumpia combination brings me back to birthday celebrations back home. The lumpia is sooo good! You would want to take more. The halo halo and specially the turon are also a must try! One of the best Filipino food options!!!“
“I've been going to this place on and off for decades now. It makes me feel old.Typical teriyaki joint fair. Never had a bad meal here.Parking: Not sure if they still do it, but they often left the back door cracked open, so if you were a driver doing deliveries at the back of the storws, you could come I through the back door. It opens to the hallway with the bathroom, not into the kitchen.“
“Took my mother in law to Sushi & Maki for lunch last week. We arrived just as they opened and were served right away.We ordered California Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll & Tempura Shrimp Roll and green tea.All the sushi was prepared artfully and the sushi and tea was really tasty.Parking: The restaurant shares parking with many other restaurants and businesses so it can be hard to find a close parking spot.Mom uses a wheel chair and the ramp was very close to the door to the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: The staff was able to remove 1 chair at the table so Mom could stay in her wheelchair to eat.The front door and the restroom are a tiger squeeze but we were able to get in & out.“
“Actually, I came here to visit the place where the downtown rail line is located. I wanted my child to go to a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. There are not many different types of raw fish. Instead, I think it's a menu that kids will like. I also don't eat raw fish, so this place was good. It seems to have a generally sweet taste, but it was a place that many people visited even late in the evening. It's an easy place to come with kids. The child is very excited to see sushi passing by.“
“I will always love this place. Always good food. I do feel bad about the prices. While i do understand. Some things go up. Why the drinks no more drink with meal. And 1.00 fir refill. Just hard to take. Just wish more thought went in to this. Will this frive cusomers away? Maybe maybe mot. I will always come back kust not ss often.“
“We love this restaurant. Best sushi in the area. Very family friendly. We had the medium combo california, Oregon, and rainbow roll with nigiri. We added the C4 super spicy roll for fun. They have a large drink selection. Even milk for kids.“
“I ordered delivery, but they delivered only 5 minutes away so I was able to get it while it was still warm and fresh. I ordered the spicy miso ramen. The noodles are pleasantly chewy and thick(my favorite), and they gave all the toppings I requested with no issue. The miso broth was unfortunately a little bit bland, but just a bit of soy sauce and it tasted really good. And the chashu that came in it was a good piece. My personal favorite ramen place is Ramen Ryoma but I'm often not able to get it delivered where I am, and I think this will be my go-to in Hillsboro.“
“Amazing sushi ?. Very fresh fish, and everything we had was tasty. The Albacore Tuna tar tar was fantastic. Reminded us of Albacore Poke. Very fresh, perfectly seasoned, the soy sauce put it over the top. Will definitely get again next time. The Volcano was amazing. Don't remember all that was in it- but the heat level was just Sriracha mayo level. So good.I loved the Philly - a basic tuna roll with cream cheese. The mango tango was good- but compared to the others, it was probably our least favorite. Still good and no complaints - the Volcano was just over the top. Can't wait to go back and try some more! Great place in Hillsboro!“
