“What a gem! The food was excellent—I enjoyed it so much that I nearly finished everything before even thinking to take a picture. The owner personally serves each dish and shows genuine care for every customer, which made the experience even more special.
The portions were generous, and every bite was full of flavor. We ordered the General Tso’s chicken ($11.95) and Kung Pao chicken ($12.95), and both were outstanding. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity you receive.

“I already knew the food would be good when I saw the steamed rice. The flavor was really good and the portions are very big. If I was to critique anything, it would be that the steak was a little dry. Otherwise, I will come back here if I go to the food carts again. So far it has been the best one in that food cart pod.“

“We had the best experience this evening at Nikki! Amazing food and presentation. Our waitress was AMAZING (wish I had caught her name) and went above and beyond to make it a great experience for all of us, including my 9 month old daughter. They also take food allergens seriously, and I had no worries when ordering because our waitress was very attentive and reassuring how careful their kitchen is. The pricing definitely reflects the quality you are getting, and overall a great dining experience. Can't wait to go back!“

I live near Fairview but when I'm craving sushi, it is well worth the drive to get it here. Itadakimasu!“

“My tofu hibachi was incredible!! It came steaming hot, which I love. The veggies still had firmness, the tofu was delicate (not what I'm used to, but so good!). The rice is very high quality sushi rice. The sauce is well balanced mix of tangy, sweet, and salty; but not overpowering.
Try this affordable dish or something else from this place. It will not disappoint you!!“

“I have been working in Hillsboro for the last 2 weeks, hands down the best lunch I've had in 2 weeks!! I will most certainly eat there again before I stop work out there! Service was FAST, food was EXCELLENT! This little space looks small from the outside but super clean and spacious inside, definitely a date spot if you're interested! The portion was perfect, I left wanting more but knowing I was full! I do not leave a full 5star review often, It's very rare to be honest. If you read this as the owner or management please know that your staff was superb, your restaurant was gorgeous and well cleaned and I will brag about your food! Only complaint, if you could call it that was I asked if the Kung Pao was spicy and the lady at the register didn't believe it was so I got the Hot and Spicy Chicken... absolutely no complaints on that dish but I thought Kung Pao was a spicy dish, maybe I'm mistaken. “First & foremost, the customer service here is world class. The kind lady at the front taking orders answered all of my many questions about what was vegan & did not look annoyed even after several followup questions. While the restaurant has a vegetarian section, it does not label vegan options clearly. But they are more than happy to let you know what is vegan if you ask. Just make sure to specify you are vegan & provide a quick explanation of how vegan is different than vegetarian. They use vegetable oil to cook food. If you also have an issue with MSG like I do, your only option will likely be the tofu plate, which is what I got. It was great & had a lot more flavor than I anticipated. Will absolutely be getting it again in the future! If you are just vegan, here's the options: - tofu plate (pan fried tofu, white rice, & steamed broccoli, carrots, & cabbage) - tofu yakisoba - vegetable yakisoba - hot & spicy tofu - hot & spicy vegetable - tofu fried rice (not on menu, but it is available) - tofu fried rice - steamed vegetables & rice NOTE: the tofu katsu is NOT vegan“

“Wow! What a hidden gem this place is! As a local, I had no idea this spot was here until a recent Google search. I'm so glad I went in. Got there at opening and was hosted by Aden at the bar. I'm a newbie to sake, so I was completely under his guidance. He did a great job of explaining the character of different sakes and shared with me more about the making of sake than ever before. He even pulled out a map of Japan to show me where different sakes come from. So cool.

I enjoyed a 3-sake flight with some edamame first, and then moved on to some tempura udon with which I paired my favorite sake from the flight -- Masumi Karakuchi Kiippon Junmai Ginjo. The food was so yummy and the sake was excellent.

Shout-out to Aden for being such an enthusiastic host and educating me on sake! Nice job, Aden! I can't wait to return with my partner and try more sake and more tasty food!“

“First discovered this place almost a decade ago when I was living nearby, and though I live much further now I make it a point to stop by whenever I'm in the area because it's easily the best teriyaki chicken I've ever had. Their food is SO tasty, and it feels like they use high quality ingredients, I always feel good after eating here. I usually get the teriyaki chicken and it's always flavorful, delicious, and perfectly cooked. Highly highly recommend this place for good teriyaki!“
