Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers to Add 21 New Restaurants
Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is growing again. The burger chain from Kansas just signed 4 new development deals to open 21 more restaurants.
The new Freddy's locations span several key markets - Washington, Illinois, Iowa, New Jersey, and Texas.
This is the first time Freddy's will have a restaurant in Washington. Thanks to a 10-unit deal with new franchise owners, Imrit Chattrath and Jasdeep Singh, the Seattle area is about to get a taste of what’s made Freddy’s a fan favorite.

In the Midwest, existing franchisees Mike and Steven Young will add three more locations in Rock Island and Knox County, Illinois, as well as Des Moines, Iowa. The father-son duo already operates 10 locations in Iowa and Illinois, with 15 more in development.
In New Jersey, new franchise owner Peter Labib will open four Freddy's in Monmouth County. And in Texas, Frank Fayyaz of ARF Restaurants, LLC will bring four Freddy's locations to Austin.
The new deals come on the heels of Freddy's announcing plans for 10 more locations in South Carolina and a 20-unit deal for the Houston area. All told, Freddy's now has over 150 new restaurants in the works. The company aims to have 800 locations by 2026.

Freddy's chief development officer Andrew Thengvall is pleased to see this mix of current and new franchisees investing in the brand. "There's no greater testament to the value of Freddy's franchise opportunity and the unique dining experience we bring guests across the country than the continued investment that our existing franchisees make in the brand," he said.
Known for its cooked-to-order steakburgers and freshly churned frozen custard treats, Freddy's first opened in 2002. Today, the fast-casual chain has over 530 locations spread across 36 states.
With a steady stream of new franchise deals in place, Freddy's is on track to introduce its menu of classic American favorites to many new communities in the years ahead. The company believes there is potential for more than 3,000 Freddy's restaurants across the country.
