Wingstop Teams Up with NBA as Official Chicken Partner
Wingstop, the Dallas-based fast-food chain known for its cooked-to-order wings in 12 bold flavors, has been named the official chicken partner of the NBA and its minor league, the NBA G League. It's Wingstop's first time teaming up with a major U.S. pro sports league.
"Our fans love watching NBA while enjoying our wings, hand sauced-and-tossed," said Michael Skipworth, Wingstop's CEO. "This partnership is another demonstration of Wingstop being in a category-of-one, claiming our spot as the Official Chicken and Official Wing Partner of the NBA."
As part of the multiyear deal, Wingstop will have a bigger presence on the NBA's national TV broadcasts, social channels and digital platforms. At the 2025 NBA All-Star Game in the San Francisco Bay Area, Wingstop will sponsor the celebrity green carpet at the Ruffles NBA All-Star Celebrity Game. Expect to see plenty of wings being munched on by A-listers.
The NBA is equally jazzed about welcoming Wingstop to the family. "Wingstop is an industry leader that has established itself as a mainstay in the gameday routines of many of our fans," said Julie Morris, an NBA senior VP. The league looks forward to finding "unique and exciting ways to engage with our fans, bringing them closer to the sport they love."

It's a natural fit for Wingstop, which already partners with five NBA teams, including the LA Lakers and NY Knicks. With over 2,350 locations worldwide and growing, this new league-wide deal should introduce even more hungry hoops fans to Wingstop's wings, tenders and sandwiches.
