I went and got an iced latte with honey, and it was divine! I typically like my coffee sweeter, but the espresso was so rich and flavorful I didn't even need the sweetness. The service was quick, and the woman at the window was friendly. I will say their parking area is quite awkward, but that's to be expected in beaverton.
This place is a hidden gem (and integral to the coffee history of Portland!). We ordered a black pour over and chatted with the guy running shop (Mousse). Thank you Mousse for welcoming us to Portland/Beaverton! We learned that the owner of Thornton's has been in the coffee business for over 40 years. We also learned that the Thornton's have a familial line of Q Graders! It's crazy to think of the start-to-end process in making my cup of coffee. I decide to try this place after being disappointed by another coffee establishment that sold what I would describe, sugar in a cup, but after reading the positive reviews I decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed the coffee was flavorful and it was delicious, I recommend if you're looking for a coffee place, that will give you good coffee, and not sugar in a cup, and try Thornton's family coffee, they will sell you good quality coffee.
