“Amazing donut shop! My grandparents have been going for the last 20+ years. Every time I visit in the summer, we’d make a pit stop. My grandpa hasn’t been since my grandma passed. Even with new ownership in that time, not a thing has changed. The new owner is personable and my grandpa continues to rave about the apple fritters from here. Can’t recommend enough.“

“This won best donut in Portland for a reason. It is my fav donut place in the US honestly. Cannot emphasize enough how amazing this place is and how high quality the donuts are. What makes it even better is the joy Penny and Boun exude. Family-owned, but Delicious Donuts makes you feel like part of their family too! Must try for anyone who is a donut aficionado and definitely for anyone living in PDX!!!“

“Phenomenal service - Sam (the owner) has built such a warm, welcoming environment and is beloved by the community.
The quality of coffee and tea is excellent, and there is a rotating menu of fun and unique drink options.
And the space itself has great light and high ceilings, it’s tastefully decorated, and the seating has cozy options and tables for doing work. The shop is part of the larger Rockwood food hall with lots of seating and great food options.
Neo is a must if you’re in the area - thank you Sam!“

“The only powdered chocolate cream donuts anywhere in town (and I've checked), just the way Winchell's used to make them: absolute perfection! The other donuts are incredible, too, but the powdered with the poof of chocolate icing is my go-to 4 LIFE! When my husband and I journey 25+ miles to a Sesame Donuts and our box of donuts is in our car, I may spontaneously serenade my donuts. They're THAT GOOD! 🎵 "Oooh, chocolate poopers, you are the best donut in the world!" 🎵 😄“

“My friend told me to skip Voodoo on the last day of my trip to Portland and head to Blue Star. I was a little weary but I've been burnt out on Voodoo for awhile. Blue Star is by far my new favorite. The young lady at the counter was more than helpful and very courteous. The kind of customer service I'm accustomed to being from the South. The store was immaculate and I liked the simple presentation. I didn't feel overwhelmed by the selection but immediately went to my tried and true: the apple fritter. This was no normal fritter. This thing was baked by some divine power. My God the glorious sweetness only enhanced by apples that I swear were guarded by a serpent in the garden of Eden! If you've never been, I urge you to run to the nearest location. If you're a repeat customer and haven't tackled the apple fritter then do yourself a favor and make it the next one on your list. My next trip to Portland will definitely prioritize another visit.“

“This is a very creative Donut, Boba drink place, It has some innovative drinks with Cool shaped donuts. The place is very cute with a little arcade machine, it is a little bit dirty and needs some touch up paint but whatever lol. we ended up ordering The Japanese Einspeinner matcha it, the Dirty Tiramisu Latte, Pineapple Passion fruit drink, and a Blackberry donut. First of The match just tasted like Milk we got it remade but wasn't good still were assuming Low quality match or bad portions.(Workers said owner swaps matcha brands frequently.) The tiramisu was good tasted like a chocolatey Coffee with cinnamon pretty nice. The pineapple passion fruit had good flavor all around. The Blackberry Donut was good but small amount of blackberry drizzle.

“Some of the best donuts I have ever had the pleasure of eating. Although a bit pricey this is one treat I don’t hesitate to indulge myself on. This location has always been reliable and friendly. The quality never changes and the tastebuds are always happy. It’s the only donut I travel the country with.“

“Early on a drizzly morning, I was greeted kindly with superb service. The shop has a cute old school donut shop vibe, complete with helpful staff.
Now on to the donuts! The chew of the raised donuts is nearly perfect. The dough is light, not cloyingly sweet and with the slight chew you're looking for in a good raised donut. I highly recommend their filled donuts. Also, the chocolate glaze was decadent again with that alright balace of sweet. Now on to my favorite, the sesame donut is a must. A plain cake donut with a light glaze dipped in toasted sesame seeds! This mildly sweet donut is perfection. I'll be thinking about it until I get it next!

“holy yumness. This place has elite sweet treat beverages for all my fellow humans to enjoy! We ordered the tiramisu latte and chocolate earl grey cold brew (?!) they were above human level and had the best ice cubes!! Mochi donut also was so good.“

“After buying a few things I needed, I stayed inside MUJI a little longer. Near the in-store embroidery service, right beside the shelves of Japanese cups and plates, I noticed a robot coffee station that immediately made me curious.
After placing my order and making my selections on the touchscreen—adding everything to the digital cart, paying, and then walking over to the counter—I watched the robot begin preparing my drink: a hot cappuccino, $5.25.
I genuinely enjoyed watching the robot create the latte art… honestly, the design looked better than mine (haha).
Once the drink was ready, there was an announcement over the speaker, a light flashed on the counter, and I even received a text message on my phone. That level of detail was surprisingly thoughtful.
Beside the pickup counter, there was a small station with lids, napkins, straws, cream, and sugar for anyone who wanted a little extra sweetness. I, of course, added both sugar and cream.
The coffee here is quite strong. In my opinion, if you’re drinking it hot, the 10 oz is just right—12 oz feels like a bit too much. But it tastes really good.
Next time, I’ll try one of their fruit drinks.
If only I could sit by those large windows, slowly sipping coffee while looking out onto the street… that would be perfect.
After the shopping experience here, I noticed some customers hesitating and walking away—maybe because the space is quite narrow, and standing there to drink can feel a little awkward.
Still, the wooden beams and the warm lighting fit the coffee bar beautifully.
Ah… one small downside: there’s no restroom here.“

“Wow! Just wow!! I mean, did I say WOW? I went there specially for pumpkin pie. What i got was not just a pumpkin pie, it was a taste of absolute joy. Joy I say! Smooth, creamy, firm, but not too firm, a rich, utterly delicious crust that was more like layers than an actual crust. Moist through and through! When I get back down to Portland metro area again, it'll be my first place to go! You should make it YOUR first place to go to, too!! Simply wonderful!!!“

“This is absolutely my favorite donut stop in Portland. The donuts are fresh and delicious, and I especially recommend the yeast donuts which are always fluffy. The staff are friendly and they keep the line moving so everyone can get their pastries and coffee quickly.“
