This place is indeed very serious about their coffee. I just had a full-on nerd discussion about the source and the quality and flavor of various beans. Even if you don't care about that stuff, just go and enjoy some delicious coffee.
excellent little coffee shop in SE (Foster-Powell), exceptionally friendly service and very good coffee! My biggest complaint about most coffee shops is you can’t get a decent breakfast along with your coffee but Kainos has that covered too with your standard pastries case but also fresh bagels and you can add egg, bacons, etc. I’m stoked to have stumbled on this spot today.

Updating since I’ve been to Kainos many more times and it just keeps getting better. Kindest owners/operators who make one of my favorite americanos in town. Prices are the lowest I’ve seen around town for your basics, and they have super fun new lattes they’re trying out like ube and pistachio. I always enjoy stopping by to say hi and grab a drink.
