Jinju Patisserie Reviews
I’m so glad you were my Google suggestion when I searched bakeries! Croissants will never be the same & the bar has been raised. I can honestly say I’ve never seen one that was bigger than my hand. Thought I would eat a part of it & save the rest, but I couldn’t stop! Your cases look beautiful, clean & service was exceptional! I could have eaten them all. I’ll be back next time I’m in Portland.
Gorgeous pastries that all had perfect flavors and were loved by all of our family. we'll be back!
My favorite Portland bakery. The croissants are fluffy, and crispy with perfectly balanced flavor. The bacon, ham, and cheese croissant is made even better by everything bagel seasoning. They have gorgeous confections for any tastes. My personal favorite is the matcha yuzu. It's decadent, but also light. The staff of this establishment is top notch. Kind, helpful, and they had mad skills. I highly recommend this neighborhood gem.

The quality and art that go into Jinju’s work are highly praised, making it a favorite among many. The mushroom / gruere tarte was described as phenomenal, and the coconut passion fruit pastry was called mind blowing. The staff is attentive and passionate about their trade, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Arriving early is recommended as popular items sell out quickly. Must-try items include bonbons in various flavors, a lemon raspberry tart with meringue, and an assortment of pastries. The croissant and cinnamon chocolate chip coffee cake are noted for their perfect, soft, and airy qualities. Customers often mention how everything from Jinju is amazing and that the chocolates are out of this world good. The ham and cheese croissant is delightfully flaky and buttery, and the carrot cake is on another level, with a crunch like caramelized nuts and many thin layers of cream cheese frosting. The rectangular slice is perfect to share. Best cookies and blonde brownies are also highly praised, and the croissants are definitely worth the trip. While the jalapeno cheddar biscuit and scones are average and found elsewhere, the croissants are exceptional. Customers often mention that everything they bought was so good, and the line is well worth the wait. Jinju’s pastries and chocolates are described as beautiful and delicious, delivering excellent flavor and texture. Overall, Jinju Patisserie is a bustling, well-loved spot in Portland that offers a variety of delicious treats worth savoring, though there is often a long line and some items may run out early in the morning.
