“Whoa, this place makes REALLY tasty Lao food. I've become accustomed to subpar Southeast Asian restaurants in Portland, so I really wasn't expecting much when I stepped inside with my friend. The place is really nicely decorated, clean, and cute, which added to our skepticism, as a lot of authentic restaurants tend to be simple or even dingy. They offer a lot of good Lao comfort dishes, for people who are new to the cuisine as well as those who already have favorites. Their special of pork belly fried sticky rice is extremely delicious, packed with flavor and spice in every bite and fresh ingredients. My friend was blown away by the quality of the food, and she's one to be easily disappointed if things aren't done right. It's also fairly priced here which adds to how wonderful the experience is. I'm definitely coming back and trying more on the menu sometime, and I've already recommended it to a couple of people.
Parking: Small parking lot attached to the building and minimal street parking. Didn't have issues finding parking outside the building Sunday lunchtime“
“Nice low key place. Good selection and reasonable prices.“

“The Kenyen food is amazing! Wonderful food from a wonderful guy. Definitely try the Bariis and Chapata.“
“Located in a collection of food carts in a very awesome section of town. Plenty of food available. When I visited there were about 7 beers available on tap and a few wines. I was pleasantly surprised that I had not tried 4 of them and hadn't experienced 2 of the breweries. Plenty of outdoor seating with heaters. A very pleasant human being tending bar.“
“Sarah and Abby are the greatest bartenders I have ever experienced. Both so considerate and observant and just pleasant af. Always know when I am ready for another drink. Also just so sweet and kind and cool and make me feel so special. The reason I come! Thank you for making me and my friends feel so good. I hope your employer knows how incredibly cool and valuable you are! I will come again and again to see you both!“

“Best taphouse in the Corvallis/Albany area. There are always new beer selections and there are at least a few beers of each type (i.e. IPA, stout, lager, etc.). The staff is friendly and helpful. The new outdoor area is also well done and super cozy. 100% recommend stopping by for a drink. You can also bring in or order outside food.“
“Love this place and the awesome owners!“
“Great selection of brews and non- alcoholic drinks. Enjoy the laid back vibes at a local bar. Great spot to hang out and pick up some cool surf gear, boards, local artisan gifts and apparel. Martin the owner is kind and really cares about his community and patrons. Enjoying coming here for Babes on Waves meet-ups! Check it out if you haven't.“
“Fully support this place after the name change; I encourage anyone who didn’t care for their previous name to give them another shot. They clearly meant no harm, and recognized the harm they caused when called out. That’s all anyone can do in their position. We live in a world where appropriation is normalized, not their fault.Small but lovely selection of beers, not just IPAs. Can selection is for the haze bros, lots of $20+ 4-packs, but some interesting stuff.Amazing selection of vinyl, have heard Cat Stevens + Kendrick + Denzel Curry + metal I can’t name. Fun outdoor seating out front. Tall ceilings + lots of bench seating. All beers $7 (2024). Very wheelchair accessible. Not much more you can ask for from a taproom tbh ??Oh yea, they have a broken window outside currently, and are fine with pro-Palestine art on their boards, so that’s appreciated ??“
“Excellent selection of beer (1300?) especially if you only want to buy one (you can also buy 4-packs if you want) and special events tap takeovers, etc are fun too!“

“loved the atmosphere!!! if I were a resident it's definitely a place I would frequent“
“A great little pod with uneven offerings.
The 10 food trucks here are of great quality, but several of them them don't keep the most regular hours and/or are only open part time ( one truck is open only 3 hrs/ day, Thurs thru Sun? Wut?? )
Still, if the stars are right, and everything goes according to plan, you can get a great meal to go with your great beer... and they do have some great beer here!“
