“What a great spot!We stayed the night here because this business is in the Harvest Host program and allowed us to park our travel van in their lot.We grabbed a few beers and found out that it was bingo night so we stayed and played. We didn't win but we had a good time. It's a very big facility with seating inside and outside and they have a food truck on premise all the time for food. The girl behind the bar was great! Fantastic service and she ran the bingo! The bathroom is small (just big enough to sit on the toilet) and has pictures of various dogs pooping. I think it just adds to the quirky character of this place.Good beer, great service, an overall amazing host!“

Calapooia Brewing Brewery • $$
140 NE Hill St, Albany

“A friend and I were at an event and didn't want to eat any more of the food there, so we looked at our other options and I saw this listing. I've heard good things about it, and the fish and chips sounded really good to both of us, so off we went. We enjoyed the fish and chips very much--the fish was nice and crispy on the outside and moist and flaky in the inside without being greasy. Fries were the softer, homemade kind with the skin on, that aren't super crispy but they had a good flavor. The portions weren't huge, but my friend and I both left full. She had some kind of cranberry hard cider and it was pretty good. I had a nice glass of ice tea. The restaurant itself was smallish with hardwood floors and an area with a dart board. It was fairly full, even for mid afternoon. I could see how it might get pretty noisy at night if it got crowded, but they seemed to have a nice covered patio off to the side that would probably be wonderful in warmer weather. Staff was also nice (we were there after lunch, so had to order at the bar, but that was fine).“

“Always great to stop by the 2 Towns Ciderhouse for a taster of the newest ciders on tap. I always plan to walk out with a 4-pack or 6-pack for out of town friends. Great knowledgeable staff to take care of any questions or inquiries & very attentive to all even in the craziest time of day.“
