“excellent food and the margarita flight was amazing!!! we will definitely be back!“
“We got lucky and had ColdFire beer and Paper Plate BBQ for lunch in Eugene. I got a flight of beers to try: one hazy IPA, black IPA, red ale, and Japanese brewery collaboration lager. All the beers had excellent flavor balances and distinct profiles: the hazy IPA was dank and tropical, dark IPA was roasty with the IPA end notes bite. The red ale had a sweet, brown sugar-chocolate malt and strong hops flavor, and the Japanese lager was crisp, clean, and lightly fruity.
In other words, you can go here for a good IPA. If you like any other beers, you're getting good flavor profiles and not just weak versons of IPAs (unlike a LOT of other breweries). Highly recommended for a good beer with some great BBQ from Paper Plate food truck.“

“We love it here at Oakshire. Friendly staff and such an awesome hangout vibe.“
“So on this trip I found out I don’t like west coast ipas. Kind of not great for time in bend and Eugene or no?Luckily CLAIM 52 saved the day with their smoothie beers!I never knew this was a thing but omg they are amazing you need to check them out. A bit heavy for every day drinking but amazing tasting.I love the setting the bartender was nice and the food was good too!“
“This place was awesome. I heard they had a cake that is to die for. I decided to have a rock fish and chips with a cider. Hard cider which was awesome all together. I recommend stopping by this place . It is on Territorial Highway heading towards Lorane Oregon. Just after King Estate Winery entrance.“
“I tried the Viking Braggot brewing company at the Junction City Scandinavian Festival. The company being Viking themed is really on point with the Nordic festival. They had a cool mobile beer van setup and had a good selection of beers. I tried the IPA and stout both of which were delicious. There was also cider and lager beer available which would be perfect for hot days.I really enjoyed the beer and hope that the company returns for next years festival.“
“The taste of craft beer IPA is a matter of personal preference, so I don't think it's appropriate to review the beer taste, but overall I taste mild and mild. I prefer an IPA that is a bit harsher and leaves a lingering aftertaste, but the atmosphere is nice and there are food trucks such as Thai, Indian Fusion, Burger etc in the parking lot, so you can choose your food and enjoy it at an outdoor table with your drink. It would have been better if it was on the lawn like Bend brewing company, but the Shade is a great place for a meal and a beer. Because of the food trucks, the parking space is limited, so you have to park on the street.“
“I’ve been here only 3x since living in Oregon and every visit— I love it! Today, the brewmaster gave everyone Trippy Ricky slushie samples- YOU GOTTA GET ONE! Like a Cherry Limeade for adults. I got the Brisket Philly, and I highly recommend it! Also, always super fast and super friendly service. What more could ya ask for. ?? ?“
“Very chill and relaxing environment. First time experiencing a venue like this! I could hang out here all day. 🍻“

“Oh my god... the poutine!!! My first time.. and yes, a die and go to heaven moment. Fries smothered in gravy with cheese curds! We just ate at Falling Sky Brewing I had the most luscious cubano! With crispy and juicy shredded pork, ham, cheese and pickles squished to deliciousness. And the perfect amout of mustard... the mustard is what makes it for me! With a side kale ceasar, a perfect pairing. Hubby had the Ruben, with house made pastrami and saurkrawt. Not too sour, on a marbled rye. He loved it. Son had a grilled chicken club with parmesagn garlic fries. Another win! We all drank their homemade ginger ale and root beer.“
“Stopped for a late lunch when moving in our son. Sometimes you don’t know what to expect with pub food but it was surprisingly good. Halibut enchiladas were recommended by our server Austin and were very tasty. I had a salad which was decent with some crunchy walnuts on top. Two different house made root beers-both good and different tasting from each other. Austin our server was very friendly and greeted us by opening the door. All the servers seemed to be attentive while we were there.“
“The smashburger is incredible! I popped by here on my lunch recently for a meal and the smashburger was insane. So were the fries. I've been here previously for drinks and had the chicken strips and drinks, which were also great, but that burger was so good.“

“We stopped by with our dog for some tots and a pint of cider. The waitstaff was very attentive and friendly. The tots were crispy and hot. The cider was tasty. A pleasant place to spend some time with a friend.
Parking: There is a free parking lot off the alley behind the building. A bit hard to find, but I've always found a spot there.“

“Quite possibly my favorite place for food and drinks in Eugene; my wife and I go an almost embarrassing amount. Staff is super friendly, their food is excellent (with plenty of vegan, vegetarian, and GF options), and their beer is top-notch.“

“They have a daily special that is an amazing deal. My husband ordered their special that had 2 patties, bacon, jalapeno and other toppings with fries and a beer for $15. I ordered their elk burger. The food was delicious and it wasn't very crowded. We will be back!“
