“The ice cream was good, lots of unique flavors and some twists on the classics, i.e., pear gorgonzola and salted chocolate chip cookie dough. They also had a variety of vegan options I had one made with oat milk, that was yum! Thought it was a bit spendy as we only got 2 single scoops and the cost was about $12. But this isn't your typical ice cream shop now is it?“
“We loved this place! It was our first time today, it was recommended by a friend who knows her food! We had amazing service, staff were super sweet to my kiddo, and the food was amazing!! I am gluten free and it was the best gluten free sandwich I’ve had! Oh, and the salads were legit too! I will definitely be coming back!“
“Fantastic food from a great staff. The sausage and veggies were fantastic and the garlic aioli was an awesome sauce on top. The French fries are what you remember the good McDonald's fries from your childhood were. My wife loved her salad and pretzel, it was soft and buttery with an awesome cheese dip.“
“Best drink/coffee place ever! Seriously, everything is so delicious, pretty and made with care. The drinks are very creative and there's really fun specials too. The owner is always so nice and friendly and it's clear that they put a great amount of time and effort into every detail. A gift to Eugene and so much appreciated!Dietary restrictions: Oat-Milk as a Dairy alternative“
“Super cute aesthetics, friendly staff, full bar menu that could fulfill anyone’s drink fantasy. But the star of the show is the food! We had the black garlic bread, which was to die for, jojo’s and the pea/beans were great. definitely worth a visit! They shuck their oysters at the bar! Can’t wait to go back to try for dishes.“
“If you haven't stopped here, you need too!! These guys are killing it! Awesome food, taste and service. I was beyond impressed. Best chicken and waffles I've ever had. And The blue cheese frittes are delicious . Plus a creative and clean spot. Thank you for a new go to spot for great grub.“
“I will drive more than 30 miles out of my way to get coffee at Global Delights Coffee (really I'd drive more and often do.) I love their coffee! They use organic ingredients which makes all the difference. Yum! AND their baristas are the BEST!! They're fast, friendly and make the best coffee, no matter who makes it. They're all fantastic people, who make great coffee. I highly recommend!!“
“I like this place for the unpretentious, the friendly staff, and the mellow atmosphere. This time I got a tasting flight of white wine, the dry riesling was my favorite. A flight is $12. I've never had the food here (I always get something from the food cart outside) but they do offer a few cheese plate options. This is a good spot for a mellow date night or a drink with a friend. (They have a good selection of non-alcoholic drinks, too!)“
“I have lived in the Eugene/Springfield area over 23 years and have driven past Buddy's many times thinking it was only a hamburger joint. I was severely incorrect! Upon the recommendation of the eye center across the street I went in for breakfast.Food was absolutely amazing! Service was even better! A true gem!“
“I love fresh overcast espresso Stout on Nitro, what better place to get it than fresh from the source. Friendly service crew and crowd. Thursday they have live music. A handful of food carts to choose from outside, with covered patio with heaters.“
“She is the best in town. If You're going to Chipotle instead of this place, you're a fool. Been going here the last 7yrs or so. The food is incredible quality made fresh to order, and her green sauce she makes is very refreshing with great balance of spice and flavor. She offers organic rice and beans, and the composition of the burrito is delicious. Prices are more than fair, and your stomach is Happy after you eat the food, you don't get annihilated from the inside out like you would after Taco Bell.Besides all this, the lady is very nice and great conversation. Go see her today and taste what you're missing in this cool little hidden gem near backside of skinner's butte aside hummingbird wholesale. I took my kids here almost 7 yrs ago for the 1st time. She still remembers them. I just love places like this.“
“A Gem for Vegans and Beer Lovers Alike at Drop Bear BreweryMy recent visit to Drop Bear Brewery was nothing short of delightful. Nestled in the heart of our town, this brewery stands out not just for its exceptional craft beer but for its commendable focus on vegan cuisine. In a world where plant-based options are often an afterthought, Drop Bear shines brightly, offering a diverse and delicious menu that caters to vegans without sidelining the meat lovers among us.The atmosphere at Drop Bear Brewery adds to the overall experience. “Delicious BBQ from a master. At this point, we've tried everything on their menu, and it is all great. If you want to try something really special, he smokes these giant potatoes for hours every morning and stuffs them with pulled pork and other goodies when you order. It's a huge meal and absolutely fantastic. The couple that runs this joint are really sweet and want you to have a great experience. You can take your order to go or eat at the picnic tables. If it's raining, there is a tent with tables and space heaters. No matter how you enjoy your food, you are going to have a very happy and full belly..“
“Really enjoyed the evening with The Men From Surf playing surfin’ music. People of all ages were moving to the rhythm, some folks were playing cards, several were dancing. People were out to be among other people. And everyone looked like they were having a great time. The staff was clued up and friendly. We had pomegranate and cardamom kombuchas. Delicious!“
“Tucked in the hills just outside Eugene is a beautiful little winery (we were told the oldest winery in that part of the state). Our wine guide for the afternoon was incredibly energetic and passionate about the wine - and so we had a couple of tastings (the pinot and the bold red tastings). They offered really excellent wines and we enjoyed ourselves immensely by the warm fireplace while it drizzled coolly outside. We picked up a bottle to go and we were set!!“
“Great food and drinks!! Hadn't been here in a while and WOW!! Food was so good (had the beats patty) and service was spot on.Vegetarian options: Veggie options (Veggie burger, cauliflower steak, and more!!)Dietary restrictions: GF options on the menu“
“Very yummy! They have a lot of fun and delicious treats, and options for dietary needs. My favorite? Vegan sausage, egg and cheese. SO yummy! And on a bagel, plain or everything.I like their coffee, if you get iced though pre-warning the cups are very small! But still delicious. The employees are nice and overall have a good atmosphere. It is a smaller place and usually full, so plan to grab and go or bundle up to sit outside (or just dress according to the weather) their outside seating is nice too! Parking is meh. In the Whitt. So up to you how you feel about street parking. My husband and I go about every other week, I'm just pointing out the pros and cons for ya!“
“Great food, meatball sando was 10 of 10 amazing. Ham, cheddar and potsto (?) Soup was filling and delicious. Pretzel with beer cheese dip was also ?. Great service! Great beer! Little packed that day but they were hosting an event so, to be expected.Vegetarian options: There are gf, vegetarian, etc. Options that all sound yummy!Dietary restrictions: Just ask the servers, they're super knowledgeable and can get something to work for you.Parking: It's in a bad spot for parking but luckily it's within walking distance from several available parking options.Kid-friendliness: Definately kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Ada accessible.“
“I had an amazing dining experience at Viva Vegetarian Grill. We ordered the house-made chili fries with cashew cheese, the tempeh tacos, and enjoyed some African Red tea.The house-made chili fries were a delight, and the cashew cheese added a rich, creamy texture. The tempeh tacos were bursting with flavor and creativity, a true vegan treat. The African Red tea was a refreshing choice to accompany our meal.We opted to dine in, and our experience was made even better by the exceptional service provided by Cody. He was not only friendly but also quite funny, making our meal even more enjoyable. Cody went the extra mile by offering valuable recommendations for local vegan restaurants and nearby parks, making us feel like we were part of the community.Cody is a great guy and a wonderful representative of Viva Vegetarian Grill. I highly recommend this restaurant for its delicious vegan offerings and the outstanding service provided by Cody. It's a must-visit spot!“
“First let me say…… THIS PLACE DESERVES 10’s across the board. I have been looking for good food and when I tell you the best thing is this place …. I MEAN IT. Not only did I feel very welcomed but the food felt like I was loved. 10/10 and if I could bring a car full of people I would. This is my first try and I’m beyond amazed. They even have Carne Asada Fries on Happy hour and let me tell no I was beyond pleased, the seasoning and just fulfillment I received from them 10’s. Alsoo for all the Coca-Cola lovers they serve our favorites ( AMEN NO PEPSI) Thank you for the amazing food and great atmosphere. Also the music is the best Missy Elliot and Mary j Blige, Definitely a 10 for me.“
“I’ve been meaning to try here, and I’m so glad I did! The food was delicious, and the service was great and really efficient. Their little seating area was also very quaint. I got their cajun shrimp, fries, and clam chowder, which I’ll be getting again soon and will recommend to others. Thank you!“
“So on this trip I found out I don’t like west coast ipas. Kind of not great for time in bend and Eugene or no?Luckily CLAIM 52 saved the day with their smoothie beers!I never knew this was a thing but omg they are amazing you need to check them out. A bit heavy for every day drinking but amazing tasting.I love the setting the bartender was nice and the food was good too!“
“I recently traveled to oregon from california, we went to this establishment on monday april thé 8th around 6:30pm and a young man served us, with two friends and barbecue sounded amazing, we wanted to stop by a little restaurant for dinner and we were astounded with the service, quality, and taste! Person 1; I ordered the pulled pork sandwich without slaw. The pulled pork basically melted in your mouth it was delicious, tender, and very juicy. The man working this night was especially considerate had a great customer service rapport, and was very accommodating. Person 2: i also got the pulled pork sandwich but with everything on it and honestly it was probably the best bbq i've had in a very long time. the cole slaw was light but had a nice crunch and flavor to it. i would definitely come back here and try it again. the guy couldn't have been more kind and considerate . Person 3: i had the brisket sandwich but they didn't have cheese (i didn't mind) the meat was shredded which surprised me i didn't expect that and it was pretty tender. i was the one who looked where to eat at so i saw this was close to our hotel, and i couldn't have gotten more lucky with the food/service.“
“We had an excellent time eating at Pandita tonight in the outdoor seating area! The service was so warm and inviting. The young lady at the window was so helpful and friendly (thank you!). The food was so yummy and we loved the sauces! The Pandita fries are a must along with the tortilla soup.“
“We were actually heading to a different restaurant but stopped here instead and so happy we did. Food was incredible. The Bangers and Mash was delicious. House made sausage and yeast gravy gave it so much flavor. I ordered the spinach and arugula salad with smoked salmon for an upcharge. Simply delicious. Great service. Fun environment. Great service!!“
“Anytime I'm in Eugene, I make sure to visit Falling Sky. I've tried most of their beers and found them all to be outstanding. The space is cool and welcoming with a nice mix of big communal tables and smaller ones. They have a nice variety of food on the menu and everything I've had has been really good.“
“Great spot to enjoy a pint and grab some beer for home! Bunch of new coolers and nice renovation too. Sports on the tv, sidewalk seating, lots of nice seating inside, easy parking in back or on the street and friendly service! Great local beer tradition continued with the New Tons!“
“My boyfriend and I stopped by here because the Thai place next to my house was closed. I’m so glad it was because I can’t imagine it being better than this place! Flavor was a 10, portion size is a 10, satisfaction definitely a 10. New favorite comfort food spot! Recommend the potstickers :)“
“Hands down the best in the area. They offer an impressive menu featuring boom tea, boba tea, matcha, lava milk , and Hong Kong style teas. Another house favorite is the Fruit tea slush with cheese cream. Not sure what you want? They are happy to make recommendations. The decor is open and modern, inviting guests to stay and play games, socialize, or hang out in the hanging basket chairs to watch the world go by.“
“I just wanted to say that Doug’s Burger moved to Lane community college and I have yet to find a consistently decent burger in the Eugene/Springfield area. I miss their food. I miss their people. I hope that things are going well at LCC, but would celebrate if they opened a place that was more accessible to those who were not at LCC.“
“This was my first time in Eugene and my friend took me straight to tacos Maria the moment I landed. Best decision he ever made. I had the chicken and then carne asada tacos with green salsa. Amazing authentic flavor and sweet owner. 10/10 recommend.“
“This is a great little pizza place. Please note that they like to burn the crust, which tastes really good, but something you should know upfront. Other than that, please keep in mind that there are two locations, when you order ahead. The one further away from campus has a better parking option.“
“I had my birthday there last night with a group of 11. We had the private room in the back it was perfect. Food was yummy and delicious, wine was amazing and service was on point. Our waitress was great. Would highly recommend Elizabeth’s wine lounge to anyone celebrating a special day.“
“What a yummy lunch. So glad I decided to finally try BHeavenly. I ordered the Fusion Bowl. It was quickly made and very fresh! Everything is vegan, but they do use dairy cheese. All you need to do is specify "fully vegan, please"!“
“Absolutely love this restaurant! As a student on a budget, finding delicious yet affordable meals is crucial, and this place delivers on both fronts. The gimbap rolls are packed with flavor and freshness, making each bite a delightful experience. Plus, the prices are incredibly student-friendly, allowing me to enjoy a satisfying meal without breaking the bank. Whether I'm grabbing a quick bite between classes or treating myself to a tasty lunch, this place never disappoints. Definitely a five-star gem for any student looking for delicious and budget-friendly eats!Food was too good. Forgot to take pictures beforehand.“
“I just love these folks. I joined their wine club after having such a fun and boisterous conversation with Zak (sp?). The wines are fabulous. I am not a big fan of white varieties, but their selection is an exception. The 2020 and 2021 syrah are temperate yet flavorful. The ambiance makes you want to stay for hours, soaking in the eclectic artwork and plants that seem strategically placed throughout the space. It's a comfortable yet memorable establishment that will keep you coming back for more!!!“
“Stopped here after my Amtrak train dropped me off at the station. This place is right next to the station, and busy. Vegan/Vegetarian foods with comfortable seating and artwork on the walls that are for sale. Most definitely a college town restaurant and serves both families and students as well as out of town folks with a smile and great personality.Vegetarian options: If you want to add real butter just ask and the vegan items can have cheese added on request.Kid-friendliness: Lots of tasty options the kids will want to eat!“
“I love this place!!! They not only have great food, they have a beautiful, welcoming philosophy! Everyone is welcome here, and kindness exudes from the time you walk in the door! I absolutely love their poke! My favorite thing to get is a half order of Oyster Sauce Poke on Spring greens, with Spam Musubi on the side. Yum!! Their prices are reasonable, servings are big, and you can't help feeling like skipping when you leave this happy place! Oh, and the music is really fun too! I highly suggest that everyone pops in, and enjoys some super yummy Hawaiian food! Parking: Parking right in front of the building.Kid-friendliness: Open space, not fancy, fun music.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps into the restaurant.“
“Always love coming down here. Tonight everything was closed at 830 after the pain n sip experience. It was a Friday night and 830pm. So I am not too sure if tonight was a fluke but I would imagine most of the businesses being open until at least 9pm on a Friday in a college city.“
“Haven't written a review before, but I've been here quite a few times now and really like it. The coffee is great and the location is too! There's a neat little corner outside in the back for those who want a little more privacy and quiet also.“
“Everytime I go there everyone is so nice a respectful I live in Salem and I take time out of my day to drive to Eugene and everytime I’m there everyone is very kind and they have a very clean environment and good prices for theirs drinks and they have amazing drinks too and I love stay woke it’s the best coffee shop in OregonVegetarian options: They have vegan options and they have them labelled very clearly so everyone can see itKid-friendliness: They have plenty of kid drink options and they are very sweet with the kids“
“One of my favorite local breweries. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. They brew 'beautiful' barrel aged beers that are delicious - they even got me to enjoy barleywine beer! Their membership is reasonably priced, imo, if you enjoy their beers. If you're looking for more session beers or IPAs (absolutely nothing wrong with that), this probably isn't the place to check out- it's more of a 'slow down and enjoy' type of experience, which is something I think we all need from time to time.... especially when you can make it out to their countryside location.“
“We traveled up to Eugene for a little getaway this weekend. We stopped in Roseburg Friday, and then stayed at a super cool little cottage in Eugene Saturday. Where we stayed was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! It was within walking distance of so many places to eat and drink! I had a list of like 29 places to go, so I think a much needed girls weekend needs to happen here soon. One of our stops was SūBó Sushi Burritos -South Eugene because that was the one thing I had never tried in my life- a sushi burrito. Jon ordered the Samurai with avocado, and I ordered the Volcano because I love spicy stuff... I didn’t try his, but mine was beyond amazing! The freshness of the salmon poke, crunch of the pickled onion and jalapeño crunches, the heat of the spicy tuna and spicy cream cheese... I honestly could hardly stand the habanero sauce! BUT SO GOOD!“
“The only thing wrong with Newman's Grotto is the indoor seating shortage for cold and rainy winter days. There is ample outdoor seating for when it's nicer. The food is excellent! The service was great! If this isn't your go to fish and chips spot, you're doing it wrong.“
“Actually I do NOT recommend this place! I ordered the RBG sandwich, and it was one of the worst sandwiches I ever had. The bread was dry and the ingredients were skimpy and fell out of the bread. The chickpea spread was almost non-existent. I paid $8 but it was worth about $1.50. I do NOT recommend this sandwich or this place.“
“Exactly what you are after. It's picturesque on a ? ? what are you looking for an iced coffee, something hot, something simple, or something fancy they have you covered. Convenient drive-thru, as well as walk up serviced with an awning so you don't get wet in the rain. When you're in Oregon don't go to Starbucks there's no excuse. Dutch Brothers is everywhere and this one is particularly good. You don't even have to learn crazy names for sizes. Sometimes if you ask they will have really cool stickers. Make sure to visit“
“Good coffee at a great price. The 911 is my drink of choice. I'm not aware of anywhere else you can get a drink with 6 shots of espresso without paying $1+ extra per shot. They always make it consistent and are accommodating by making drinkable hot. They're always so cheery, and even if that's policy, it's a mood lifter.Dietary restrictions: They offer dairy free milks for your drinks.“
“I am so glad we stopped here! I ordered the biscuits and gravy, a banana nut muffin and two chocolate chip cookies- all for under $20. SO GOOD. I wanted to order everything in there! Staff super kind, love the art that is up, bathroom stocked with any extras a woman might need. It’s easy to miss but not easily forgotten!“
